KHANA KHAZANA by Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor - Indian restaurant in Dhaka, Bangladesh
Vegetarian platter : The paneer wasnt even tastyDrinks : The only thing that we loved about dinnerChicken Afghani: Looked liked grilled, but very poorly done
Very nice ambiance, average food.
Good food 🥘 nice investment with classy paintings 🖼
Nice food, reasonable price , perfect location, good service and polite staffs.
A very decent place to have Indian food.I would recommend any dishes from the menu. If you are spice lover, Hari mirch dal shorba (lentil and green chilly soupwill bring your tastebuds to life. Desserts are delicious with a bangla twist.Dal makhani, dal tadka, roti, curd, rice everything is purely Indian.Although i could point out cleanliness of table linen and washrooms, I would give an average rating to that.
Indian culture is known for their hospitality where as khana khazana being an indian culture food chain lacking of hospitality where as we found staff to be rude. We suggest indians looking for indian cuisine may go to nandos or else luckhnow dhaba. We asked waiter to bring complimentary papad once again where as waiter replied very rudely the papad will be charged and after having our dinner we were served a pan pouch we asked waiter to give one extra pan where he straightly said no.Hardly this pan and papad will cost 10 taka such a worst place.
Good pick if youre into Indian cuisine
Very nice and scilent place with good quality of food.I tried dam biryani, food test and quantity is excellent. But little oily.
Indian food is very often in Dhaka. In this hotel we are getting good & tasty indian food. we had chicken briyani seems cost bit high than india, but worth
Nice environment..Nothing special with the food, kind of okay. plain Indian dishes. Deep pocket is needed
Attended a wedding there. Good place. Beautiful place with good interior. Their food is also good. The place is very peaceful and quite. Because its situated near Gulshan Park. Its very quite. There is another Cafe on the first floor. The food could be even better. I hope they look at this. Theres a small parking. Around 10 parks can be parked there.
My husband is based out of Dhaka and on our visit to Butler’ s cafe we had our eyes on the Indian restuarent.. but we ordered biriyani, roti and mutton dish . Us growing old with Sanjeev Kapoor’ s show we were disappointed to see the quality of food being served. I would not suggest any Indian family to visit the Dhaka branch where the other brands out there provide a good variety with good people ready to serve you with warmth. We also visited Soi71 and to be honest the warmth is hundred times more than this one
Environment of the restaurant is good. But price of the food is over priced. They provide normal mutton biriyani with an excessive price. You can go there only if you want but must try to eat Naan and Batter chicken its good.
situated in very calm & quite environment.good menues of indian culture. nice to eat and sit. well catered for vegetarian and non vegiterian.
Good food, clean place, good ambience inside and very prompt and friendly service. Don’t know whether the affiliation with Sanjeev Kapoor is still continuing; though the branding carries it promptly. Parking is a little difficult in peak hours. Good variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items are available and taste is very good.
Good large place in a fine location. Very quick service. If you expect the same khana khazana taste which you have in other khana khazana restaurants in Delhi or Dubai you will be disappointed. However considering Bangladeshs taste it may have been tweaked to their liking? Other things like clean cutlery and good linen and prompt service gives it a khana khazana style.
Food is good but price is too high.
Best thing here is u can do BYOB
Good Indian restaurant in Dhaka. There have good Menu and almost all the food items for vegetarians and non veg, bit pricier though but for nice Indian food you need to pay when you are not in your own country
Food is expensive. But the service quality not good at all. Waiters need vigorous training. Food quality is good. Quantity is on per too.
Khana Khazana the best restaurant in the city. Located in a premium locality. Good food and Good Staff members. Daal makhani is definitely good as compared to other restaurants in Dhaka serve.
Food was ok but the staff there dont seem to be properly trained and they lack manners.they dont smile and they dont say welcome in reply to thankyou.they are not enthusiastic about their job at all.
The bill was very very high compared to the served food, they took bdt 90 for 1.5 liter mineral water. The VAT + service charge is also high.
The food was just about okay! don’t be fooled by the name, security, looks and the prices. Byriani meat was pretty awful. They don’t serve you like the high end they pretend to be .Staff got behaviour to improve! not recommended!
It was so shameful, disgusting that one of the multinational brand name store preparing, preserving, making and selling horrible, unhealthy, spoiled, smelled food selling to the public. The authority should shutdown this store as soon as possible. There is no mercy for these type of restaurants who are playing and gambling with peoples life. Period.
One of the worst Iftar buffet i had in my life! Very poor management, we had to wait a long time for refill, there was only one or two dish refill then they tried to delay. Taste was horrible, not enough dishes compare to price, it was full house when i visited them, ppl left without having full course meal because of miss management. I called Resturant manager sevaral times but his service also was very poor!
Food was so aweful.Sanjeev kapoors name tag is just being used for advertisement.taste was terrible.ambience was also below satisfactory. This place doesnt at all deserve to stay at such a prime location. Thoroughly disappointing
Very good food...small parking
Food was good. Inside lighting needs improvement as it lacks vibrancy. Food presentation and serving time was satisfactory.
This is very nice authentic Indian food restaurant chain run by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Both Vegetarian and non vegetarian food is available. If you eat the food there I am sure you will visit again and again. The food are hygenic and same taste worlwide. The service and ambience all are good. One can be satisfied with the quality and taste .
Dear Middle Class, its aint no place for middle class people. You aint deserve no master chefs food. Taste buds of your tongue and your moneybag will make you regret. lol
Wonderful environment...Tasty food... Enjoyed
Vegetarian platter : The paneer wasnt even tastyDrinks : The only thing that we loved about dinnerChicken Afghani: Looked liked grilled, but very poorly doneChicken Cheese Kabab: AverageBiryani : Awful, frankly speaking the taste wasnt even close to dum biryani, it was plain and missed the zing. Moreover it was very dry, as if the dum wasnt added enough.
Food is good. Its difficult to get a timely attention and service. Can not do much alteration in recipe.I asked for a spicy veg Biryani but was not was spicy and was not altered.
You can find very tasty and delicious Indian food. This is one of the best Indian restaurants you can find in Dhaka. From paneer dishes to Lacchaa paratha, rumali roti... It is a complete Indian menu ... When it is Sanjeev Kapoors chain of restaurants, you definitely can expect authentic Indian cuisines.. I would recommend you try it if you are in Dhaka and like Indian food.
Very nicely maintained restaurant serving authentic Indian cuisine. Kitchen close sharp at 10:30PM and Restaurant close at 11:00 PM.
Amazing place for Indian foods. I have tastes roomali roti with palak paneer. The taste was so great that I am now a fan of Indian curry. I can tell with full confidence you cannot go wrong with any food here. Happy Fooding. Cheers.
The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special environment & decorated. The friendliness of the staff seems genuine. I have never seen such good customer service as I experienced dining. Really Khana Khazana near Gulshan 2 such a amazing restaurant for dinner as well as party place too.
Very expensive. The food isnt worth the cost. Very slow service for which they charge 10%. Not really worth it. I regret going there
I expected some special taste from this restaurant as they attached with the name of master chef Sanjeev kapoor. There are thousand of places are available in dhaka where delicious indian food, environment and class serve with the less price than here. Price wise and taste quality is not something extra ordinary. This place is ok for rich food lover people.
As being a chef and an indian food lover, it was disappointing to dine in here.I ordered Dum Ghost biriyan which was mediocre, you can have much more better quality biryani from other Indian restaurant around Gulshan. My wife got Laccha paratha which was cooked on Tandoor and was not even close to a plain paratha. Iwant to ask to Mr. Sanjeev, where in the world a Paratha is cooked on Tandoor? The fish was stinky, as it was not cleaned properly, the blood line on the fish was still there. Not only that, I went to the kitchen to show the chef, how a Laccha paratha is made. I cooked one paratha on the Tandoor and it came out as it has to be, like a mille feuille, layered. So never going back. I gave 2 star cause they offered the dessert and thats it. One more thing, they charge 10% on service which is absurd, because there is no service at all. What you pay is the brand name of Sanjeev.
Food is Good. Specially chicken. Fish is not good as you want. But price is high compare to similar restaurant in Dhaka.. I like their Soda..
The food was somehow edible..though too expensive for the given quantity..Their service was extremely poor.. sirkiuu never gor served from such bad waiter...
Food test is good. Staff behavior is good. Environment is good. They have only one problem, take much time to deliver the dishes.
They only provide Indian cuisine. A good choice for the vegetarians. Foods are a bit expensive. A very cozy environment.
Good place for a dine out. Tasty food combined with prompt service. Well decorated interior. Theres an elevator besides staircase. Definitely on the pricey side. Vehicle can be parked inside or outside on the the Gulshan Avenue.
An amazing Indian restaurant in the heart of Dhaka. Went twice so far with 2 different group of friends and everything we choose on the menu was very good.
Lovely meal shared with friends. I was lucky to be taken to Khana Khazana by a group of Bangladeshi friends who ordered for me and surprised me with a lovely selection of dishes that were all superb. Its so nice to have someone who knows the food order their favourite dishes. Once they arrived we shared each dish. Wonderful. The place is clean, the staff are friendly, there is a good ambience, and the food is really good. Recommended.
Khana Khazna is a just overrated restaurant in Gulshan, Dhaka. They have a wide range of mughol style indian cousin and dessert. Presentation of the dishes are typically authentic mughol dish but actually it is western fusion with mughol recipes.Food taste is average yet extremely pricey. Generally food price is 4 times higher than any decent restaurants in Dhaka.
Very good authentic Indian food under the supremo chef sanjeev kapoors brand, excellent food, nice ambience, great service..worth visiting.
