Very quick service with friendly happy girl

Absolutely incompetent staff and systems in place at this store , replaced my order with more expensive one because they had run out !! I wondered why it was so much and wasnt till I got home did I realise they taken it upon themselves to upgrade my order to something we didnt want . What sort of business practice is this ?

close this place down already , the service is rubbish , the place is filthy and food is sub standard .

When all the cards are down and nearly all hope is lost, and all self-dignity has robbed you barren, and you have but a lobster left, KFC Taree emerges from the deep fried depths of the hot sauce ocean atop a hydra of drumsticks and batter to rescue those who cannot rescue themselves.

By far the worst service of any takeaway store in Taree. Wait 5 minutes just to be spoken to at the drive through and then to constantly have them forget items from my order. Will be spending the extra time to drive to the service centre one. Do NOT recommend.

A simple order that they can only get right 50% of the time.If some one orders 2 lots of 12 tenders, please give them 24! Not 12!And when asked if the order is all there, don’t say yes unless you know for sure!!!!This wasn’t the first time the same mistake has been made! It’s actually the 6th time, it’s not good enough.

I am visiting family from the Gold Coast and decided to get a snack from here and I couldnt believe how amazing it tasted compared to the KFC on the Gold Coast. I was so shocked at how fresh everything tasted. It was delicious! I will be back while on holidays.

KFC customer service in general is bad, its like the Taree store wants to take it even further. I dont even go here anymore.

Not bad. No salt available for the chips so they offered little plain salt sachets.

One star because I had to the store was dirty the food was cold thought it might have improved in 3 1/2years how wrong I was.Definitely wouldn’t recommend or be back disgusting.We we’re only staying a couple of minutes away so there was on excuses for serving cold food.

Purchased a zinger box here and had black mould on the lettuce offered a new burger refused full refund could have made me very unwell didnt even get a apology

I asked for flat shaped wicked wings & got them..nice staff at the drive thro..

After sitting in the drive through and nothings moved for about 8 minutes I decided to drive around and go inside the store, after placing my order I was told the price and the girl just walked off without even offering a receipt, too bad if I was having issues with the EFTPOS machine because no one wouldve been there to help me. After sitting and waiting for about 20 minutes I started to realise that about 6 or 7 people who walked in after me had already left with their food, so I asked if they had forgotten my order which they indeed did, and they asked "what did you order?" So I told them what I ordered and she stares at her screen and finally says "Ill do that now" and aggressively slaps my meal together right Infront of me. And I didnt get any sort of apology or offers of complimentary extras for sitting and waiting for so long while my frozen drink melted away. The rude attitude of the teenagers that work there are beyond the joke.

Went through drive thru, was asked to park & theyd bring our order out. Waited nearly 10min & went in. They had no idea, only gave me half the order & then the girl who handed it over was soooo rude. Ill never go back there.

Compared to other times the service was poor. The bread roll was squashed and forgot my kids drinks and one of the orders was completely wrong.

First of all I want some nice juicy chicken zinger box I then end up receiving my box all good I go to sit down after hiking the grassy of Taree I open my box smells absolutely amazing but to my despair there is no zinger burger. Also my Pepsi I got was room temperature I had to ask to swap the drink and also had to go back to the kfc to get the burger put into my box the staff are nice but I want kfc to have upholding standards of service. I need kfc in my system to be able to function properly throughout the day. The river smells nice.

Pathetic service. The Sienna showed attitude after having b told me that their eftpos was down and it was cash only. After I walked 3 km to a bank to get cash and the returning they apparently had their eftpos working. When I pointed out what I was previously told about their eftpos, Sienna denied having told me in the first place. She then with a teenager angst stormed off and got her manager Katie who was equally of no help.

We tried a new hot salad with chicken it was delicious 😋Wicked wings and thigh pieces were yuumm with chips too.

I wont be going back, the place is filthy at the best of times unkept unclean.But more striking and probably no fault of the staff lack of training or simply dont care, the girl on the till coughing into her hands then handing drinks from the fridge, the other girl has a raw nose so she wipes it every minute and packs the food. If you want COVID or Flu KFC will gaurentee it.

If there was a no score star, this would be getting it. Taree KFC is an absolute disgrace. Today the place was filthy. Floors not clean, the dining room untidy, and the worst smell permeated the shop, the toliet were revolting.The only reason I went there was because my daughter wanted something to eat, but guarantee I wont waste my money again. Health inspectors and food safety officers should be called due to the state of the place.

Great store. Fast service. Always clean. Always got stock of everything. Well managed.

Unfortunately I wont be going back to this store, a few weeks ago I was overcharged for meals I didnt order or receive and I was told there would be a refund asap, after numerous calls back an forth there hasnt been any real progress. Pretty disappointing.Whats even more embarrassing is after they stuffed up my order and fixing it with a promise to put the extra charge back in my account they still managed to stuff the order up again.My opinion is, if you cant run a professional and honest business DONT RUN ONE AT ALL...F YOU KFC TAREE🖕

Clean, comfortable and compact. Most people hit the drive thru. Busy, polite and friendly staff.

Pretty poor effort from staff, walkedIn tonight, four staff members just standing around, one staff member more interested in giving her girlfriends slushies and free food then actually taking orders from proper customers.

We stopped here for lunch on our way back home after a family gathering. We got through the drive through fairly quickly and the staff were all friendly. I ordered the Ultimate burger box. The food was all as expected but the chips that were part of the box was the smallest serve of KFC Ive ever had. I know its a small serve in a boxed meal, but the little white packet was only a third full. There were 10 chips. I normally do the survey but I just feel this is KFCs way of hiding their bad reviews away from the public, and nothing seems to change.

Never had any issues from there, usually use app to order, which is simple to use

In my experience I have always found the staff very friendly and the food quite good and not over oily.

Could be a lot better, but average for KFC in general. Staff were doing a great job handling a rush, but the floors were dirty and the meal was disappointing. Chicken was undercooked.

As always and expected KFC food is very tasty. Only the problem is that sometimes spicy chicken is not available.

Chips were hot but a bit limp and not salted properly. Service was adequate and while I understand that the name of the establishment is Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), I found my chicken quite greasy, a bit too greasy for my liking. I dont eat KFC often, but this particular experience has put me off it for a long bit.

Really dissapointed,Girl at the front countercould not of cared less about my order....Got it totally wrong,The chicken and chips was so oily it couldnt be eaten...wasted my money.GROSS! Nambucca heads is the best KFC

Food is consistently good, drive through order takers could speak slower and more clearly, I am not the only person who has to ask for things to be repeated.

Refuse to use drive through when we get anything more than 2 burgers as they never give you all of your order.Went in tonight and glad I checked my bag, as it was missing box of 3 chicken pieces and large popcorn chicken. When I questioned the order and handed receipt back for them to confirm they got annoyed and no apology just handed me the missing items.

This store prioritizes drive through service, to the actual exclusion of counter service.Today at the counter in store, I ordered an Original Recipe Combo, regular size, with Pepsi. I waited about 25 minutes for the order to be presented to me. During the wait, I was told by the teenage girl working at the counter "Sorry, were just waiting on your burgers." This confused me, since I could SEE into the kitchen where the staff were assembling the burgers, and about 10 or more individual burgers had been made since my order was placed, all with the same chicken I had ordered, and there was only 1 person waiting in the store with me at that time.I ate my food and as I was about to leave, a customer was just placing an order for a Zinger burger combo, regular with Pepsi.I left the store and quickly hopped into my car, went into the drive through and made the same order that lady just did - Zinger combo with Pepsi, regular size.I waited for about 2 minutes in the drive through, received my order, and parked the car again.I went back into the store, and saw the lady still waiting for her food. I double-checked I had her order correct (I did), and gave it to her, telling her Id deliberately copied her order in the drive through AFTER she had placed hers, and I received mine first. By a long, long time.I suggested she ask for a refund on the meal she was waiting for, but she didnt want to. She thought the whole situation was funny, she wasnt in a hurryI think its sad. Why does drive though get prioritised at the expense of front counter?

Not a clean table in the restaurant, floors were filthy and staff were more interested in talking to their friends that were eating dominos pizza in the store than serving customers.

Iam very disappointed with this KFC store. this used to be my place to stop off with my family for a decent feed on the way to Sydney. I used to literally go out of my way to eat here becaus I enjoyed the location and the quietness of the aprk behind it also. But I guess times have changed and they have lost what used to be a well respected iconic place for the Taree area. Iam so very disappointed with the quality of food and the way in whoch people are being treated by staff. Time for a reshuffle!!

Went to buy a 3 Tender box meal in regular. The meal is supposed to come with aolli dipping sauce which was missing. The chips had no salt at all, and the potato and gravy had no spoon to eat it with which happens on a regular occurrence. Is it not difficult to give the customer what they require to eat your product?

Stopped in on our way south down the coast. The person who appeared to be in charge of the front service area today (2.1.21), a young woman with blonde hair, was doing an amazing job. Super friendly and accommodating to all customers in what was a very busy time. She kept up with the orders, all while answering any customer questions and guiding the other staff working with her. I was impressed. The food was what we expected.

This would have to be the greasiest chicken Ive ever eaten. It looked like someone had heated the chicken in the microwave and then for good measure dropped it in a vat of warm cooking oil. My wife and I ate some of the chicken and took the rest home to give to the dog. While the staff werent rude, they were far from friendly. We wont be back and definitely would not recommend it.

A yy ago i gave a good review, but the drive through now is always ridiculously slow, no matter how many vehicles in front. Today two vehicles in front, but still took 20min. More often than not cars are qeued to the entrance so i drive past. How many others are doing the same.

Meal was incomplete.wanted oringal burger meal n only got potatoes n gravy chops no bun on my burger.n its not the first time .

Once again purchased an order and it was incorrect. Bit back to be told nothing could be done to fix it. Meaning I was expected to repurchase another pack to feed all. When I stated you cant expect me to have to purchase more because you made the mistake the manager huff and told them to replace a large popcorn which wasnt given and then came to the other window and gave me a small one saying I can only give u a regular as you have one.By this time the other one was cold. Very rude manager with poor customer service. I also noticed a car in front of me going around the block in the service centre to go back through Windows obviously dont have a problem to. Certainly poor service on this day the 11/11/20 in the evening

There is something wrong with your order box at the drive through. We were these for ages and no one was answering to our call. Had to about just to be heard and we heard crews just laughing in the background. We had to repeat our order 3x for the female crew to recieve it. When we drive to pay for our order, the other crews were laughing and the manager assigned didnt even help with our order but warned us to not to be angry I mean, come one. Its not funny to make your customers wait. There were 3 other cars waiting behind us. If we didnt tell them about them they wouldnt even know! The female crew who took our order didnt even give our receipt and she didnt know what to do. If youre going to serve customers in the drive through assign someone who knows what theyre doing. To laugh at customers by your companys error is not funny! You fix your box so there wont be any negative reviews like this one.

After making my order I go to pay at the drive thru window and am told no wicked wings for another 10mins. On a Saturday night....so Im offered a replacement piece of chicken..sure Hot n Spicy please...."we dont sell hot and spicy"Majorly disappointed!...and to ice the cake my large chip box is barely half full and chips soggy and undercooked.

They dont give out receipts! I have buying their product for years and maybe 1 out of 100 times they actually get the order right or theyre not out of something but overall the food is ok when you get what you asked for and if possible always get a receipt to prove they have screwed up because unfortunately more times than not it has happened but as frustrating as it is at times I will still by their product

Ill visit occasionally, but after todays visit, I will most certainly be back again, and soon!The food has always been pretty good, and today I was lucky enough to be served by the nicest young lady in Taree. I was presented with the best "Hot Rods" I have even eaten, and I was treated with an extra sauce as a bonus!Sometimes its the little things; a great feed that filled me completely, plenty of dipping sauce, plenty of serviettes, too many moist towels together with the sincere service by a dedicated young team member, all for the measly sum of $7.95 that made this snack very memorable - I really hope others get to enjoy a similar experience to what I did today when passing Taree city KFC the "hungers" strike you like they did me today!Todays visit not only prompted this review, it also easily earned it a very solid 5* for a KFC outlet in a small town. 😁👍

Poor customer service; took incorrect order, supplied incorrect items. Mixed two orders up completely and when asked to fix it was just all too hard like it was somehow our fault. Whats worse the manager overheard the entire incident and didnt try to assist. In fact finally got involved in the end by abusing us. Unprofessional, no service and letting down the KFC name completely. Very disappointing.

On a good night you get great food and service quality from here and is well worth the price. Unfortunately though this place has had issues with fulfilling orders correctly.Some 3/5 visits we had recently resulted in items missing from our order only first noticed once we got back home, even after notifying the manager this issue has been occurring. There has also been a couple of visits where we had over-salted chips or dry stale chips that had been sitting too long in the warmer.I believe this place is slowly bringing its quality back up again and that is a positive start.
