KFC Invercargil Dee Street in Invercargill

Horrible chicken burger! Fillet seemed to be half cooked. Had 2 bites then chucked it! Hope i dont get sick! Coleslaw very scruffy! Yuck. Very surly service

Dee street kfc is discussing n screaming food poisoning. We ordered in, served, by dirty, aprons, hair unkempt & uninteresting staff who wished they werent working. Upon, opening up our meal, n carefully picking out what looked edible n what looked inedible, decided to leave our meal. Store, well, dirty, smelly & toilets unusable. Couldnt take the risk on using it.Dont know why, u hv a review page, as, reading other reviews by unhappy customers, nothing is done to rectify or improve this kfc complaints. Put in the too hard basket.I, would seriously be ashamed, of these reviews n b terribly embarrassed to be called manager. If you cant see whats in front of your nose, then leave, because, these reviews show up up as dirty, unhygienic & unkempt person u actually are. In fact, be interesting to know, how u get ur kfc food compliance certificate, so really its these auditors who are also to be blamed n shamed....dirty, dirty food outlet. Please, go outside, look around at the dirty windows n frontage, then go inside n hv a damn good look at the walls, chairs, tables n especially the toilets, n then ask yourself, could I eat in at this establishment, actually u probably dont give a flying f....k.Never ever going to eat in this store or any other kfc or dirty food outlets again. My money is clean, unlike ur food, so Mr CEI of kfc, get it together n actually do something. Looking forward to hearing from you.Lee

No spoons for the potato and gravy and 1 serviette for a bucket meal. Otherwise brilliant service and food

Very sad to see kfc not sticking to their time. Time say 10pm closed for inside but 11pm for drive thru on the window and it was before 10pm that I was told they were closed both inside and drive thru. Was not pleased..

Well done to the staff tonight. It was peak hour and a Friday night making it super busy and they were doing their best to keep up with the many orders. They dealt amazingly with the impatient and rude customers that I saw. And of course the food was as always delicious. The only thing I would suggest is employ more staff, I know it is easier said than done, but the poor staff were getting overwhelmed and they were literally shaking under the pressure.

I have ordered the delivery meal but I didnt receive all the things I have ordered. Lost 8 chicken wings. They do not answer my phone.

Dreadful, did not get what we ordered at drive thru, " too busy" was their reply.

Didnt get my potatoe and gravy when I ordered just gravy as well with a quarter pack deluxe

It was a busy store when i dropped by one evening for a dine in. The staff however were accommodating despite being rained with orders from the drive thru and online as deliveryeasy crew waited for their stuff.The place was busy mostly for takeaways but anyone can be entertained for a dine in but youve got to carry an amount of patience since your order may be at the middle of the pack.

The staff keep getting the order wrong. I ordered a Zinger burger combo and they never gave me a burger, didnt notice until I got home and had to drive back to get my burger. The staff member said he didnt know how to make the burger and had to be shown.

Went in chicken was cold got my burger remade and was still cold was discussed with the quality of food the same with my friends burger as well

Got a zinger burger and the chicken was cold and had obviously been sitting there for a few hours, 2 minutes later my friend received her burger and once again her chicken was also cold. We complained and got the burgers remade but it was disgusting and I won’t be returning. Not happy

Ordered online at 6:30, at 8:00 the food still had not arrived so drove down to tell them. They gave me my order, so I was happy enough. Then at 9:00 got a knock at the door from the delivery driver, who gave me my order again. Just bizarre, perhaps kfc would be better suited running hospitals, they have about the same waiting time :)

TERRIBLE!! NO STARS! This place should be shut down. Serving old, dry, flavourless chicken peices. Old frys. And terrible customer service. Not worth your money.

I do believe in consistency. This place gives consistency :-). Every time Ive been there, I get below average service and the quality of food is not worth the price or wait. I have learnt from multiple experiences that KFC does not deserve my business. Thanks Invercargill for teaching me that :-)

No suvettes, no seasoning on chips, given a dessert I did not want. They werent up to their normal high standard, so a little disappointed

Very bad customer service in the drive through, rude behavior, seemed like I was rushed through placing my order at the speaker box, no greeting at the window when arriving/leaving after receiving my order. Seemed he would rather joke around and be silly with the other staff. I do not recommend walking in store to dine in or pick up, even click and collect or delivery is super slow, as drive thru customers are their priority. However, the quality of the food has improved over the last few months and drive through service is much quicker than it used to be a couple of years ago, not to mention more staff now than back then too.

The stars are for the chicken and for the quick service, but the chips were over salted. So salty , we could not eat them.

Don’t get a delivery through monolog I placed order at 6.06pm tonight have rang kfc. Amy hung up on me as she was busy. Chrissy rang me and said sorry they are going to upsize our meal and it will be there shortly. Rang at 8.15 they advise they can’t deliver. I lost my patience said it better be here by 8.30. Now 8.45 and tea has arrived never again

Got delivery, ordered online. Asked for no tomato and Coke Zero as shown on the receipt. Called to let them know they gave us no onion not tomato and the lady was rude and said we ordered no onion. My partner didn’t even get to mention the Coke when she hung up the phone and now won’t answer their phone.

Confusing queuing process. My wife stood at the counter for 5 minutes until she realised you could only pay at the TouchPads. Only other issue is why dont they wipe the tables between customers. I suspect understaffed.

Went through the drive thru on the 3/9/21 at 8pm.Got a wicked wings 8pk which tasted like something plastic or toxic had been cooked and burnt in the same vat.Tainted the whole meal and left a fowl after taste. Couldnt eat the chicken.If they knew something was wrong with the chicken Id hope theyd discard it and not sell this on to us.Have tryed to phone.

Well.. its KFC, they have gotten quicker but are moving away from the customer service which is frustrating. I dont want to go in and order from a screen, so just stick to the drive through even though it is small and can block up the car park when its busy

There is always something wrong when I go here. They filled the box meal and the gravey exploded into my lage chips (which no I didnt take any out. Supposedly thats large. )

Ordered popcorn chicken chicken lunch on a quick check we had to ask for a spoon. We were in the drive through. When I went to eat it there was no popcorn chicken no serviettes. I should have gone back but had appointment. This is not the first time so PLEASE CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE DRIVE THROUGH

gross sticky floor went to the counter ordered got our food and as we were walking out one of the workers smirked at us and said good luck carrying that out because we had food and drinks we felt extremely insulted but carried on our way we were just in invercargill for a day and brought kfc home in balclutha for dinner when we got home we were surprised to find a million spoons in the bottom of the bag with none of our coleslaw potato and gravy none of our Moro bars and my son didnt get his popcorn chicken as well we didnt get one of our burgers we checked the receipt and everything was there that we ordered so it wasnt our fault extremely upset wont be back PERSONALLY RECOMMEND TO STAY AWAY we wont be back!!!!

After a truly miserable day, a small act can make an impact. I bought KFC through the drive thru and was served by a young lady if I remember is called Lauren, she spoke with a upbeat and joyful voice and despite my melancholy tone she worked with a smile and said have a good day.It was a nice change of beat for the day and really raised my spirits a bit.Thanks Lauren

45 mins in the drive-though yesterday night. Then was served a cold burger without an apology/any mention of the wait or offer of a discount or free drink etc. I dont blame the staff, Im sure they were doing their best, though no apology/acknowledgment of the wait was a bit rough

Went there Today about 4:45pm ,3 piece 1/4 pack, well the OJ I got was good Keri brand.The chicken was watery tasted as if it was cook from frozen to quickly as it was Luke warm near cold.chip unseasoned ,so yeah not good ,fast service poor quality. I have been there in the past and chicken spot on ,but also have experienced really dry chicken too ,next time I will take it back .Went there again today 2 piece 1/4 pack chicken dry and chewy ,Potato and gravy was uneatable , no seasoning on chips I asked as well.Staff look untidy .

Filthy, slippery floor and not one table was clean. Some flies to greet you just inside the door. Disgusting

When is this branch going to learn to season the chips. Even when you especially ask for extra seasoned chips they still drop the ball. Going to south city branch next time. The chicken is average too.

Had to wait at least 15 minutes to order, was way longer while waiting for food. Watched about 5 people walk out due to the time and at least 3 complained they didnt have all of their order. They werent even busyWouldve asked for a refund if it wasnt gonna take another 10 minutes in the lineWorst service ever...

Shocking service understaffed. I stood at the counter for 9 minutes before bring acknowledge d or served. I saw the newness walk in and out from the kitchen several times and said nothing, nor have any acknowledgement i felt very sorry for the staff who were on today. The management should be ashamed

Have had some good service at this KFC recently and thought things were finally improving but was sadly let down again today.3:05pm Sunday 22 Nov 2020. Me and my partner was the only people waiting to be served at the counter and were completely ignored by the seemingly oblivious and very overworked looking staff.Another staff person walked in the front door and checked in on the order terminal directly in front of us - I thought we were finally about to be served, but then we were left in disbelief as he didnt even make eye contact, turned around and wandered off, came back, tapped the screen some more then stood there watching the kitchen.Not so much as a "have you been served yet?" Or "Sorry, someone will be with you in a moment". Very poor service. We gave up and drove all the way to the south city KFC instead (who of course were also extremely slow and forgot our spoons and napkins).I honestly dont see a future for this franchise if they consistently allow their stores to perform this poorly while competitor brands have made some real service improvements in recent years - will be selling off my Restaurant Brands shares.

Terrible outfit! Every time a disappointment.For example last time the forgot some of the order so offered a credit for the next time as live out of town, go there to redeem plus spend $60 and the attitude about it was unbelievable, ended up having to drive away before exploding at the P freak staff there.

Called in here last Friday evening. Waited around 35 minutes inside the business to be served Not good. Can’t fault the young man who was taking and preparing orders. One till open. He didn’t stress. Kudos to him. Won’t be calling in again Understaffed by a country mile 😱

KFC.... its....Cant say children may be reading this. Normally their restaurants are untidy with greasy food all over the floors, tables NOT frequently cleaned and sanitized and the service is either slow or not consistant just like their food if they do manage to pack your order correctly and not leave out items that your meal should have. Good luck, youll need it. Oh and by the way if you do manage to contact their Head Office they manage to get back to you only once youve followed them up 2 weeks latter after leaving them a voice message to contact you with a complaint. This brand should be taken from them and another company should operate it as their position and attitude is one of entitlement as their is no opposition to this business for this category of fast food currently in NZ.

Popcorn chicken was dry and chips were tasteless. Toilets were disgusting. Looked like they had not been thoroughly cleaned. Besides having toilet paper all over the floor and urine there was dust around the pedestal and bin. Told staff at counter as there was a sign that said if you werent happy with the condition of the toilets to let them know. Poor young boy who was the only one serving and was flat out just said okay.

Waited nearly half an hour to get served even though it wasnt that busy. Never enough staff on, place was dirty, wont bother again. Please dont do your standard fill in a form reply as Ive done that before and all that happens is the store rings me when Im at work.

KFC Dee St seems to consistently have among the worst service of any fast food place (or any other store for that matterI have visited.Over several dozen separate occasions they continue to ignore the simple request to add extra seasoning to the fries. Just tonight I asked for extra seasoning and there was literally NONE on the fries when I got them.Snack burgers regularly come in dried out buns (unsure why or how they get so dry when theyre meant to be freshto the point that the bread is hard in some places.The wait times are consistently appalling both in the store and in the drive thru. I recently had to wait - and I TIMED it - 45 minutes to get to the front of a queue of 8 people in store.They have messed up my order so many times now that I make a point of checking everything off BEFORE driving away so that you dont have to go back and wait in an interminable line to get it rectified.Quite how they can have such a shabby operation for such a long time mystifies me.Please know that I only ever visit you now on the rarest of occasions due to the points above.Get it sorted guys.

Person serving on Saturday 8th June at 7pm missed my coleslaw & indoor wait for meal was longer than normal.I ordered 3 piece quarter pack..... other people sick of wait also for their meals

Waited close to what seemed like 3 weeks to get my order in which seemed odd considering there were only 3 other people in the building. The lady who served me sounded like she was having a heart attack or had somehow just punctured her lung.Once ordered the feast arrived quickly. Friendly service and quality meal. Its been 4 hours since the KFC was purchased and eaten with no signs of illness so great outcome.
