KFC in Marietta

Their chicken pit pie and mac and cheese/chicken bowl are absolutely delicious !

Drive through employees were very courteous, warm, and welcoming. The food was fine, though nothing to write home about.

A Landmark and must stop ✋️ if your ever in Marietta. Chicken is not what it used to be but you can always say youve been to the Big Chicken😀

I have not eaten KFC in probably a decade or more. Decided to see what The Big Chicken was all about. The atmosphere was worth the stop alone, and the Nashville hot strips (dipped in BBQ saucewas delicious! Interesting that a 5 piece meal with drink, fries and biscuit is cheaper than 6 strips entree only. BTW, the green beans are significantly better than I remember eating as a kid on Sunday after church!

Always have to wait for regular menu items that arent ready, such as French fries

"Sweet tea" only dark meat chicken... Saw an employee carry in a case of Modelo though. Maybe they have a new product?

I was sweating in line for 20 minutes for a 2 piece meal! NO A/C! NO ICE! NO LEMONADE! One cash register open on a busy Saturday!

Bad experience. If you can’t field a team to work properly, that’s fine, but don’t open your doors. You had three disinterested employees working and gave me the driest 8 piece I’ve ever had.You should close for a day or two during the week. It will make your customers want it more.

After several minutes of standing at the counter we were greeted and asked for our order. I know that most businesses are suffering staff shortages these days, so I dont mind waiting patiently. The dining room certainly needed attention as you can see in my pictures. There was trash scattered about all across the floor, too. They were out of crispy chicken today; our last visit it was a different item. Our order was completed in a reasonable amount of time and the food was good, and hot. We go to the Big Chicken about once a month because its a special treat for our little grandchildren.

I was shocked. The food was still hot when we made it home, about 18 miles from the restaurant. The employees were nice. This is probably the best location in the NW Kenasaw to Marietta area.

Fries was bitter and old like it was for 3 days ago. The chicken we ordered was kind of alive . The biscuit in the box was in half like somebody bite it before putting it into the box . Everything was really terrible.

Good food and fast service but they locked the doors with customers inside because the lobby was "at capacity," likely an issue due to understaffing, but thats still not a safe practice.

Very disappointed!! The chicken was dry and without flavor. The colonel would turn in his grave!!! More of a museum exhibit than a real KFC!

Bro the food was okay, why was there a long hair in my mashed potatoes and a live ant in my sisters cup? Trying to sneak extra protein or something? Made me kinda queasy, probably wont try here again. The large historical chicken made me kinda happy and excited to eat here, but man...

I was supposed to get two large mashed potatoes and only received one, the employee, argued and said you only get one, then why does the sign say you get two?

Food was delightfully hot & delicious. Although understaffed the manager stepped in and gave the best customer service eating experience Ive had in years!!

Honestly subpar. Place was relatively clean. Got the spicy chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese. They kinda drowned my sandwich with too much sauce, but oh well it wasnt too bad. Wasnt in favor of the Mac and cheese, maybe the consistency or the taste but it was off. Some of the drinks in the drink machine were out. Overall wasnt terrible but it wasnt the best.

Chicken tenders too small and order a 5 piece and only got 3 but at least Chicken sandwich was good.

This is a must visit location. The historic photos was excellent. The chicken parts was small.

The hispanic lady at the drive-thru may not need to work the drive-through due to a language barrier. She has no clue what I was asking her or trying to order. She just assumed I wanted four single sides when, in reality, I wanted larger sides. I tried to explain, but she still didnt get it. She only understood the word "side."

We drove past this huge moving chicken many times but this is the first time dining here. It was a great experience thanks to the beautiful layout, unique decoration of KFC’s icons but especially the pleasant and professional service offer by Mr.Carlton. The restaurant and parking area are spotless clean.

Not like any other KFC Ive ever seen. The best KFC Ive eaten in. The service was fast and the food was great. A really nice place to visit.

This is a must see place. The bathrooms are very clean. My only disappointment was my chicken parts were too small. For the 16 piece order that I made I only received chicken breast.

Always good food! Extra crispy check breast is the best for me. And dont forget the brown grass and mashed potatoes. When I was there, they were extremely busy. Cars all the way around thr building. But the drive threw was very fast. Total time in the drive threw was about 5 minutes.

This was one of the worst experiences we ever had. We got to the drive-thru line before closing time. There was no movement at all and 10 o’clock rolled around and they turned off the lights and said that they were closed. After a few customers complained, then it was our turn. They told us they could not take our order. Then after going back-and-forth with the person at the drive-through, another person came on the intercom and begrudgingly agreed to take our order. Also, google, and the official website say that this establishment closes at 11 PM. I tried to call and verify twice, and no one answered. But it turns out they close at 10 now.

This KFC has improved a lot over the last couple of years. The staff is much nicer and seems to better know what they are doing than previous staff.I do wish they would put the unsweet tea out at the drink station, also some sort of lemonade would be nice to have in the dispenser.

The staff is always friendly but for some reason they can’t get my orders right. Chicken is way too soft. The skin shouldn’t fall off and be as soggy as it is. Trust me I know, I used to work for a KFC. Hopefully they’ll get it right in the near future.

The Big Chicken might be historic, but my two piece thigh and drum were relatively small and chicken-fat greasy, complete with tiny bone chips in the thigh meat. I asked to speak with the manager, but was told he was busy. Sorry, not impressed. I dont think the colonel would have been, either.

Wasnt busy. So got the food very fast. The fries were hot. The chicken strips were kinda dry. The guy that served us had pretty eyes.

Drive through service messed up our order in 3 ways, all at once.We ordered mild chicken, got spicy.Ordered unsweetened and half-sweet iced tea, got all fully sweetened.The fries were limp, chicken breading was greasy.

They always get orders wrong. Every time I go, whether its through a delivery service or at the drive in, they forget any requests for sauces, and leave entire items out of the orders. Ive ordered at least three times in the last two weeks where sides and/or sauces were entirely ignored. Its like they dont even do the bare minimum to get by. When they get the orders right, the food is great, but Im starting to wonder if their sauces even existed in the first place.

Well, I didnt actually eat here but I can only imagine it is pretty much like any other KFC. The big chicken with the moving eyes and beak tho are pretty cool to see.

Its an iconic place in Atlanta. The inside is made of reclaimed wood, very nice looking. Food quality is average.

The most historical KFC Ive ever visited. Its very well kept and the customer service is great.

I liked this place. We went at a super-busy time, so it was a little slow, but thats all. The food was hot, the restaurant was clean, and its well-decorated!

Rude! Rude rude! The cashier girl was extremely incompetent of doing her job or listening to the customer she was rude with me because i ordered different kind of tenders and i told her im missing 2 orders instead of checking the receipt and the bags she was stubborn and wont admit she was wrong until the manager who was nice with good ethics apologized for what happened and made it right! The place was nice and clean.

The Big Chicken rocks!! Customer Service was heads and shoulders above any other KFC and I wish theyd make an effort to do as good a job at other locations. Food was hot and fresh. The service was quick, accurate and friendly

The Famous "Big Chicken"I was so amazed to finally go to the big chicken. Inside the restaurant is nicely adorned and very clean. Theres even a small gift shop. The food was still KFC. We were served on styrofoam plates and waited over 10 minutes for our food. Service was mediocre. I hadnt had KFC in years, so I have no standard by which to compare.

First of all, the bathroom was dirty and whoever the employee was in there was in there entirely too long. Second, the skin on the chicken wings wasn’t even hard nor crunchy. It was mushy, undone and cold. I wanted tenders, the cashier didn’t give me a time he just said it would be awhile. The waffle was ok. I’m highly disappointed.

Ordered a 12 piece bucket of all white meat. Got 2 buckets with 3 nice breasts on top of each. Underneath were 6 small wings. The picture was the next day when I looked closer at what was in each bucket.

This is usually a great place but lately it has been upsetting. This is what I received with no napkins and a funny attitude from the cashier. This chicken juice or grease oozing from the box dripping all over my clothes. Thanks.
