KFC in Glenwood Springs

Almost every time we go here they are OUT OF CHICKEN! And with 100% certainty if you go through the drive thru they will ask you to pull around and wait in the parking lot. A few days ago we went, paid for our order at 7:06pm and didn’t get our food until 7:30!!! Just absolutely outrageous! I thought it was called fast food. We could have gone to fiesta next door, sat down, and ate our food in that time. I absolutely despise this place and it’s been like this for way too long! Terrible staffing, and horrible management.

This is their extra crispy, soggy chicken. Soggy. Greasy. Horrible.

I sent my husband last Sunday at 5pm to a bucket of chicken because we were not in the mood to cook. When he got back he told me that all they had was pieces of Dark meat and only the crispy. How do you not have more chicken then that? Its a sunday evening you would think they would have more options! Now had this been the first time this has happened OK but this is going on the like fourth or fifth time. You are a Kentucky Fried CHICKEN. Get it together! Highly dissatisfied!

I had to tell the girl in the drive thru 5 times Sierra Mist. They didnt have what I ordered after she offered it. I received an all dark meat meal (not per my requestand was upcharged on my drink (also not my request). Not a complainer but would not like to return here again. Good luck in the new year.

Food is horrible, customer service is non existent. Hands down absolutely the worst KFC!

Food is very good as the be expected from KFC but the staff at this location are very rude will have you waiting for 10 mins to take your order the building was clean but after dealing with the staff on multiple occasions I will not be spending money here again

I havent been impressed with their service and now their display of our nations flag. Ive never witnessed such a tattered and torn flag on display in my life.

This is a failing business. Me and my dad came here and the chicken was so dry it was barely edible. We ordered chicken tenders and some dark meat, all were dry and were possibly sitting there for over 3 hours. Its sad that the best part of the meal were the mashed potatoes. Dont come to this location.

Log wait, mashed potatoes and gravy were inedible Mack and cheese was just ok and the potato wedges were good and the chicken was ok but chewy we got the original and wasn’t cooked right. lastly the service was ok the people were sorta nice and apologize for the long wait.

Chicken was old; sweet tea wasnt sweet; and the biscuits were hard and old. Service was good; but the food was carelessly made and served.

Rating is actually more like 2.5 Stars, but I work with the tools I am given. This is an extremely touristy location with people eating between or after planned activities. Why are you running out of food an hour before closing? We ordered one item "Sorry, we are out of that". We go for the number 2 choice "Sorry, we dont have enough for your entire order". OK, 3rd time was a charm. Employees said sorry, but really didnt do anything to make us feel better about the limited selection. The food actually met expectation, so there is that. We walked over from our hotel so parking and egress were not concerns for us in this instance.

*Update Decided to try it again today. Well shame on me, the chicken strips were so dry i could have fashioned a shank out of it. Pretty much done now. 2 times, 2 fails. Would give 0 stars if possible.Food was so dry and over cooked that it was not edible. In fact I could probably have used the popcorn chicken in a slingshot to kill rodents. Skip this place.

First time there and they apparently had ran out of chicken , got stuck getting some original wings which I was fine with , until my wife started to eat them and there was dangerously small bones all in them barely any chicken . Very dangerous and disappointed with the results

I asked the drive through girl if they had tenders and she said we have strips. I noticed after that you do have tenders. When we got the food it was bbq chicken pieces. I went inside to get the right order and she tells me shes pretty sure I ordered the bbq basket. I told her I know what I ordered. Really bad service. She didnt even smile. If they dont like their job they should work elsewhere.

The service was abominable. The employees have 1 speed (slow), and 1 level of motivation (dont care). It took 25 minutes to get out order in and get our "fast food". The food wasnt bad.

3 time in as many weeks that we have gone to KFC after pool, and got the response of sorry we closed early because we ran out of chicken. Im absolutely sure district managers will love that excuse.

Myself and a coworker have been sick for two days because of this place. We got completely different meals. I think they need to change their oil from time to time...

Third time trying this place. Always takes forever to get my food. This visit my order was completely over looked. I have always enjoyed KFC but for this location I will never return.

This is my 4th time here. Food was good. Customer service was awesome. Every time i order, Chicken was dry. Need to work on that hard.

Very pricey. Menu has changed and very limited options. Food was not hot it was warm.

Went to get food tonight and the lady said they were all out of chicken I asked what kind she had left and she said no chicken at all. Why would you be open if you didn’t have any chicken. She then walked away when I was about to ask her what she had left. She then Never came back. I lived in this valley for 15+ years and never once hear them say they are out of chicken.

KFC has great food, great service. Historic location, across from the infamous Hotel Colorado. Where Doc Holiday stayed and died, he is buried near by the KFC in Glenwood springs.

Every time I go here they’re missing something.. last time I came they didn’t have any biscuits and tonight they only had a thigh and wing left to serve. 2 pieces of chicken come on! Closed early too. Highly disappointed in this location.

Rude , unfriendly staffsThey get my order wrong , even after the lady who took my order admit she put the wrong items in the computer,The other lady staff who yell out the order number , turn to me and told me they didnt make any mistakes , then stomp back to the kitchen.After a minute , walk back out , keep yelling out the order after I have touched everything in that bag. No one response. I told her again its my order but you just put in the wrong sides , all I want is to change the sides.She grabbed the order like a mad women and throw it in the back. Not the trash.I have no idea what is wrong with that lady.And other staff bought out the order again but is all wrong , at that point I just grabbed the bag and did not try to talk to them anymore.I do not recommend anyone go to this kfc , you will just get yell at.The staffs in this kfc just dont care.

I would not give them one star but had to to put this review on here. Thursday the 19th of July my two grandsons and myself went to this kfc. It was about 9pm. We got the $5.00 meals. My grandsons got the 2 pieces of chicken mashed potatoes biscuit and a cookie. I got a bowl meal and a cookie. We ate it and around 11:30 we all got so sick. This place gave us all food poisoning. All night we were all deathly sick. I just started feeling better this morning. I have never been so sick in my life. My poor grandsons were so sick and I could not help them because I thought that I was going to die, I puked so much and let’s not even go to the other side. Both ends you could say. In a hotel room one bathroom and three of us! It was horrible. I will never be able to eat kfc again never we were so dehydrated.Beware this place might actually kill someone one of these days. Not to mention that know one came to the front to take our order no one greeted us They were not friendly. Should of known! Right?

Let me start by saying Im usually a huge fan of KFC and all of its fried goodness, however this visit was the worst Ive encountered in a long time. We were waiting for our food for over 20 minutes when we noticed nobody in the lobby had food. One by one the other customers were called up to the counter and given an explanation and the option to continue waiting if they would like. My son and I were never offered an explanation or an option. As we waited a little longer we noticed an associate digging in the trash can with her bare hands, then walked through the kitchen and then touched the plates. Then a different associate dropped his tongs on the floor then put them back on the counter. As we started to examine closer no one in the kitchen had gloves on or bothered to wash them after handling cash. We decided at that point to ask for a refund. Even after saying "we want a refund so we can go somewhere else" we werent given an explanation or even so much as a "sorry". Visit here at your own risk...

Do not recommend this KFC!!! Terrible chicken was way under cooked ! Was still very very pink! And guess What, I had to wait for them to cook it fresh! It gave my wife food poisoning! DO NOT GO HERE.

04/06 around 2:35pm I walked in with my boyfriend and we waited more than five minutes until someone finally came to the counter and helped us and they were in the back talking. Finally we get help and order. Turns out that they had no small buns for the sandwich that my boyfriend ordered and had to use other buns, the same lady that helped us got yelled at because she wasn’t doing it correctly. *No wonder why you guys can keep employees there. Always rude to each other* I come home and I had ordered Mac and cheese and got smashed potatoes instead. Instead of yelling at each other, you guys should work together and make everything run smoothly and that will decrease the chances of you making a mistake in orders.

They need to do a better job.They are very slow and always say"were out of chicken."Also their customer service is terrible every time we go they are always out of somthing. Come on KFC you can do better.

The Sirius XM channel that plays when you arent subscribed was blasting on repeat. A loud, repeating commercial about subscribing to Sirius XM... then as I was eating a worker swept the floor right next to me and hit my booth with the broom repeatedly. By the end of the meal, I couldnt see how one wouldnt subscribe to Sirius XM... they really sold it to me.

went to this kfc around 3pm. the place was filthy. i ordered a 4 piece fried chicken WITH fries. they told me that they ran out of fries and wont have any until tomorrow. what kind of kfc runs out of fries? terrible! i do not recommend this kfc.

Waited 12 minutes to place my order as the employees were more interested in being in the back than at the counter. Bathrooms also had no toilet paper. Seemed clean enough though

I had to repeat my order maybe 8 times. It was stressing out the person taking my order. I would do a little more training. The food was great as always.

It was a great view of the surrounding areas, especially the mountains and its has pretty good food there.

Today at 6:30 I call and order 12 pice chicken drumsticks grilled. After 20 minutes I went to pick the chickens and the lady that took my order said we cant give to just the drumstick ! Then I ask her why? she reply me the most stupid answer I ever heard - she said if I gave you all the dark meat chicken we are going to lose the chicken.Then I told her how can you lose your chicken when Im paying it agin she said we have to give other customers too. So I took 5 dark meat chickens and Three white meat chicken and two pice extra, one hot and spicy chicken and 4 biscuits paid.Waited 5 minutes for my items to be bagged. Finally the same lady came to me and said we can give you all dark meats I call my manager , can you wait few minutes I said great I can wait.After waiting 10 minutes she again came back again and said the cook just preparing the chicken to be put in the oven but it will take 30 minutes. I tod her to mix white and dark meat and I will go! Then they bagged my items and left home thinking that I have all the items that I ordered but unfortunately there was only one biscuit in the bag so I went back and talk to a rude lady name Ashley i told her did you bag my items she yes. Im missing 4 biscuits and she was arguing with me saying that bag them and I told her to look at your surveillance camera than she give me the biscuits! Im a regular customer and love KFC and always call a head to order so I get the product but this Glenwood Spring KFC is the worst KFC , the employee that woks here dont know thats customer service is ? The store is dirty .Even though it takes time now I will grilling my own chicken than going this horrible KFC .

Quick, courteous service made up for the chicken tenders being dry and smaller than McDonalds nuggets. Drive through lane is elevated above the alley and bordered by high concrete. Extremely sharp narrow turns. A full size crew cab pickup wont make it.

Typical KFC. Small parking lot and small overall size. When eating here it was hard to get in and out off only because of on going construction.

I placed my order and the manager came by and told the employee that she was not heating up any more gravy to tell customers they were out. I saw an employee take a bag from a customer that walked back in and was standing by the register. The employee looked into the bag and called out the order and gave it to a different customer knowing that bag of food had already been touched by some one else.This place was very very dirty! the tables were not cleaned off there were used condiment packages in the middle of the restaurant. Trash under the tables and not to mention the trash was over filled.

I order 8 pc meal. The chicken was gross. Uncooked. The biscuit also uncooked like gelatin. Was and horrible experience.

We walked in around 8:55 we ordered and they came out and said "Im sorry we are out of gravy" and stated they where closing in 10 minutes, being so close to closing time we understood and said just potatoes. About 5 minutes later the woman from the back comes out and says (word for word"Attention, it is closing time in a few minutes so at 9:15 we will have to kick you out." NO ask you to leave once so ever. Now I understand if you are tired and want to go home, but for the first time saying something to start off with " we will have to kick you out" Is NOT the way I want to be treated let alone as a paying customer. When I looked on google to find this place, it said open untill 10 pm, and it was 9:15. Every other time Ive been there its been great service, great food, but DEFINITELY NOT this trip...

I waited for 20 minutes in the drive thru and then they tell me they are out of thighs and extra crispy which was fine 20 minutes before. And wont exchange my coleslaw for corn which they do every time. No jelly for biscuits. Not happy at all with the service. Why did i even come here!?

Great service. I was attended by a man who could have been the manager. He was very nice polite. I dont go to fast food places that places that much, but when I do, its always terrible service. This was a nice change! I was very happy with my service today at KFC in glenwood springs.

After a management change 7 months ago the service and food has improved tremendously. I do go there from time to time to get a four piece from time to time gets frustrating when I order for peace and asked if I want white meat or dark meat by order for peace I think its clear I want to breast and wing leg and thigh and should not have to explain this. I work in a local restaurant . Something like this would never happen where I work. these issues have been worked out in the past. but its just frustrating to explain what I mean when I order A regular for peace
