Unassuming place but delicious.

Came here twice to eat during our stay around the corner. Had tacos, empanadas, flautas, and agua frescas. Dont hesitate to stop by here and eat.

Went to Isla Mujeres while taking a trip to Cancun and was told about this AMAZING restaurant by owner golf cart indios. My family and I all had the al pastor and pollo tacos with the green hot sauce and was stunned. These are the BEST tacos. The owner and workers are all so kind. And the staff is so friendly definitely stop by if you’re thinking about it or just want the best tacos of your life. We’re already planning on going back on our next trip for lunch and dinner. We all cannot shut up about how good these tacos were. Wish I had two stomachs so I could try the whole menu.

Read other reviews and wanted to taste the food for ourselves. Arrived just after 7pm and the owner said he had Tamales!Between the 4 of us we had the Empinadas, Enchiladas, Sabutes and all arereally delicious. The homemade Lomond and Pena drinks are really tasty too. Without a doubt a very tasty and inexpensive place to eat.

Highly recommend, a great inexpensive and local spot. Get the Choc Duc if they have it!

We stop here for the last 4 years every time we visit isla mujeres. Nothing beats a delicious plate of poc chuc, rice and beans for lunch. We have also ordered the ribs, chicken and some tortas but the poc chuc is 👍🏽👍🏽 🔥🔥 they are busy all the time with take out orders and the taxi guys all know it for sure. Thanks guys!!!!Some more detail: the grilled stuff is available during the day before 5pm: poc chuc, chicken, ribs. They have a dinner menu after 7pm that has soup, panuchos, salbutes, tacos, flautas, tortas, and lots more. The soup is very good because it uses the grilled chicken so it’s the flavor of a grilled chicken soup with a rich broth. Yum!

The best chicken and pork on the island. All served with rice, bean puree and coleslaw. On Sundays, they had only ribs. Wasnt sure I wanted ribs but went for it....oh, my gosh! Delicious!!A neighboring table had a sandwich (I think called torta?). It looked really great...next time Im trying it.

The chicken is sooo yummy. So much better than Nandos, although Nandos is decent. Very cheap too and 1/2 chicken should be enough for 2 ppl

Ordered chicken torta, chicken tacos and 2 cheeseburgers (had ham, we removed, ask not to put it on, we didnt knowand it was delish!

Oh my goodness. Words cant describe how incredible this food is. It was well worth the trek out to this part of the island, because it was a meal we were immediately craving seconds on. Whether you go chicken, pork, or even the tacos everything tastes incredible. Dont miss out on this gem!

Make sure your Spanish is half decent - if so, the food is awesome.

My absolute favourite place to eat on Isla!! Especially when Francisco is working. I do not know what they put in that green salsa but it is the best thing ever! panuchos, flautas, empanadas, y salbutes are some of our favourite items to get when we are there for dinner. during the day they sell more like BBQ type foods, no tacos etc only at night.

Some of the best tacos on the island - flour tortillas with a little melted cheese. Unique but so good!

We ate at the Villa and loved it! Same pink building but different name. It was so good we went back 3 more times. They have the most affordable prices. The tamales were only 25 pesos and very tasty!

Authentic experience. No tourist trap here. We ordered almost everything on the menu and loved everything! Dont be in a hurry, everything is made to order and is very fresh.

This is a must stop while visiting Isla. The people are so friendly, the food, especially the empanadas are soooooo good. The prices made this the best place to eat on the island. We’ll be back!

This was our first visit and wow! We will be back. Our first Poc-Chuc experience . We smelled it on our way to our rental house and had to stop, so glad we did. The guys were so friendly and funny. The smell of this place is heaven. We got a whole chicken (cut up that came with fresh made corn tortillas, beans, rice, a whole roasted onion (almost the best part!two salsas. It was enough for our family of 5 plus a few for lunch the next day. Definitely a must stop! To go or dine in!

Weve been coming to the island for almost 10 years and we absolutely love this place. Great food (we always have the chickenand the prices are so low its crazy.

This place is excellent. Very clean and bright. The service is top notch! The food is excellent and the prices are very cheap. My favorite place or whole trip. We tried the chicken, pork, ribs and Cuban sandwich, all excellent and couldnt finish all the food.

Very fair portion of food for $5 USD made for an amazing (and cheaplunch. You get your choice of meat along with beans, rice, cabbage salad, and fresh homemade tortillas. We were the only ones eating in, but we saw lots of locals pull over to run in and pickup lunch for themselves.

You really should try it ! I love Kash Keken Chuc !!! We ate 4 times here. Today we tried the ribs and poc-chuc and it was amazing 🤤 Also the burritos and the tacos were delicious. for me the best place to eat local, for a fair price... we wish good luck and success for the future and we will come back.

This is very good, Authentic food at affordable prices. The smell of the BBQ is what drew me in. The server we had was very friendly and the food was very good. There was 6 of us and we were all satisfied for less than $40 US.I would love to get my hands on their recipe for the pork!

Love the Poc Chuc! The take away feature is great when you want something reasonable but want to eat wherever you are staying. The 1/2 kilo was more than 2 meals for 2 people.

Great prices and the food was amazing. The Cuban torta was so good!! We ordered and took it back home and it was still all good.

Stayed not too far from here and ate 4 lunches here, everything is amazing and super cheap. The whole chicken and the pork ribs are so delicious. Also had the torta cubana and it was great as well. Friendly staff, casual place.

Wow! Absolutely incredible food! $20 fed a family of 6! We tried the al Pastor, the ribs, the chicken, and the Cuban. Even my vegetarian daughter found something she could eat! Great service! Must do! Buen provecho!

Came here for dinner last night, and again for lunch today. Tacos are perfect and fresh. Pork ribs, roast pork and chicken - so moist and delicious.

Service is great, melon juice is good, but tacos need a little more meat. Prices are good when you compare to other places.

Amazing authentic food and super great prices ...definite must try and its on the way to Chadraui ...100 pesos will get ya four delicious pollo tacos!!!

Do not pass this one up if youre on the island! Amazing charbrpchar chicken. Fast, cheap, and filling. The pecos exchange was higher than other places but thats what you get for paying USD everywhere in Mexico.

Amazing lunch and only $12 for three people. The whole chicken was juicy and the tacos where so good

When this place is open, its great! The pork for one is is good for one hungry lady. My man had the chicken for one and really liked it. They have an English menu too. The meals for one are served with rice, the meat choice, shredded cabbage, and a sauce with corn tortillas on the side.

Do you like tacos de pollo? Then you will like this place. At 20 pesos a taco, youll be hard pressed to find a better taco at a better price. I personally prefer my chicken in taco form, but the whole, half, quarter bbq chicken variety is quite popular as well.

Wonderful chicken, beans, rice, slaw for 7 USD.. we picked up from there several tunes while on the island. Yum!
