Fish and chips were great impressed with the South African cod , and great service

Went in like we have many times and asked for one of their blocks of Rocky Road, get home and look at the container and what we received was not the block as we normally get but just all pieces of of crumbs left over from cutting the square blocks, I called and mentioned what we got and I was told it was all the bits and pieces but was still the same amount as the solid block.You could have asked was the dreggs ok or so you want the block 😡

Well cooked fish n chips. Beautiful fresh fish with crunchy batter, thick cut chips and homemade brownies! This is one of the best fish n chip shops on the coast.

Consistently good food. Fish, chicken burgers and brownies especially good.

Set pickup time for my online order 45 minutes after ordering. Instead of cooking it fresh for the pickup time, it must’ve been prepared at the time of order; the chips and gravy box had completely soaked through at the bottom and fell apart in the car, the gravy had congealed at the top and it was cold. Sadly it was inedible. Please take note of pickup times!

The whiting was delicious unfortunately the calamari was some of the worst Id ever eaten! Far too thick and chewy like it had been frozen? Id be happy to give a second chance if they can serve fresh seafood.

Ordered online on with a pickup time of 12.30. Arrived at 12.30 to find it hadn’t been cooked as the ‘clock they have in the kitchen doesn’t work!’ While I was standing at the counter the manager told the young cook that he’ll need to get a watch! The manager made no attempt to help rectify the mistake or apologise to me. Waited 15 mins for order to be cooked. Checked order as I was leaving the shop to find items missing. Had to wait another 10 mins for the rest to be added. Overcooked fish and unsalted chips. Absolutely pathetic attempt at customer service by staff who clearly haven’t been trained properly.

Chips and calamari where unreal, gluten free options great, we all loved the meal. Best gluten free bu. On the burger. Prices great.

Bloody hopeless with completing orders. 3 times we have ordered with delivery and been missing drinks. The shop blames the drivers but drivers are not given them. My son ordered by phone and he got me to collect on my way home and I was not given the drink that was meant to come with the order. So its obviously a issue at the shop and not the drivers.Rang the shop and was told basically hard luck as I had already left and had no proof.I Definitely do not recommend this shop to anyone else. I have never come across such bad customer service. The response from staff is straight out rude.

Ordered from this shop once more than 1year ago. They SPAM you constantly with messages, even after calling the shop on several occasions. I wont be going back given their willingness to ignore consumers requests to stop contact and to ignore anti-spam legislation.

We order gluten free chips all the time from K.I.S. as they are a family favourite. Their burgers and fish are also great.

Food is great but I have to say that the service is TERRIBLE. If you order online, they might cancel your order (after they accepted the order 30mins prior!). If you order for delivery, they also regularly forget to include some of the items you ordered (especially drinks). If you go in store, they are better, but still get your order wrong somewhat regularly. There are always young teens on the registers that just seem to not really care about their job unfortunately. If I was rating just the food, Id give them 5 stars. If I was rating just the service, Id give them 1 star 😕.

I had takeaway. Fish was good and at a reasonable price. Generous portions. I ordered $10 of chips for 3 of us and about half left after we all had elegant sufficiency.

Pretty bad experience after getting a take away order and waiting for more than 30 minutes.When I ordered I was told that meals would be ready in 25 min…Got there in 30 minutes and waited for another 30.Staff chatting constantly doesn’t show any professionalism.

Went for lunch the other day, food was delicious and made quickly, best fish and chips i’ve had in a long time. The young girl cooking and the man serving were both super friendly. Don’t be hesitant because of the prices, it’s definitely worth it!

Rather disappointing. Some of the worst chips weve had. Calamari was pretty average. Service was slow. If its busy, you should let people know a wait time.

While my food was nice, my friend’s dorito burger had uncooked chicken in it. But I see this more as a rare occasion as in general, the food was good.But more disappointing than the food was for the second time in a row, the service at the counter has been below poor.After waiting an hr for our food, we arrived and were told they were “just busy” only to see they had forgotten to do our order and yet the girl behind the counter still didn’t write it down so our order still wasn’t getting cooked and had to rely on another staff member to sort it out.Our previous visit had ordered 12 pieces of fish and was given 2 pieces, and when I returned to get the other 10 pieces, the same person at the register told us it would be an hour’s wait despite it being their error in not getting the order correct and then didn’t put the order in for the 10 pieces we were waiting on.In general though, the food is great but I hope they can more just learn from the criticism.

Ordered the family pack.Mammoth meal..Make sure you havent eaten that day!crumbed fish was really nice, not thin like some fish and chip shops. Also the calamari was sooo good. Huge crumbed rings and not chewy at all.

Probably the worst Ive ever had. The whiting was definitely not whiting nor fresh. It tasted like nothing. Average chips and calamari. Girl behind the counter snotty attitude. Would never go back or recommend. Not worth your money. Left hungry!

Sadly had an average experience, the young girl serving us wasnt welcoming at all. I ordered a milkshake and it was made half full. Ordered some simple hot chips and they were old, dry and tasteless. Im not writing this to bag them out but to give feedback for improvement.

Ordered loaded chips tonight, they were not nice at all. Very burnt, crusted top and stuck to the bottom chips. Hardly any gravy so it was dry and about 4 small square bits of bacon for $1.50! Not impressed guys.

Great lunch stop. Burgers are huge and tasty, only rated 4 stars as my beef burger was warm not hot - only a small observation and will be going back for sure. Keep up the great work team K.I.S

Best fish n chip shop in my opinion on the Southern Sunshine Coast, fish are nice size and really tasty, chios are fantastic, we also had oysters, mussels and onion rings which were all great, if you want fresh yummy fish n chips give these guys a go.

Fish n chips always lovely. I had a chicken burger which was nice but a little too much mayo/aioli made is sloppy. But very tasty

Food was good, price within reasonable rate, order online was ok.Today 1/07/2020 I went to buy over the counter with on order of package deal of $10.00 plus drink ( no drink at allextra of 1 Cod Fish $9.00, fish very moist and good size. Good place to order seafood meals.

Spent the day at Currimundi Beach and the fish and chip shop there was closed. Decided to try here on the way home and it was delicious! Will definitely be back. The young lady that served us was wonderful. Thank you 😊

Had a pretty average experience with the website and then the staff I was dealing with didnt seem too helpful as they said they have had the same problem with their website ordering service before. Coming from the Gold Coast I have definitely had better Fish and Chips and I think its a little bit pricey here too for what youre getting. The fish seems fresh and the calamari rings are very large and authentic. All In all not too bad.

Recommended by Google maps, Ive been keen to try this place. Grabbed a double pack and headed down to the beach. The amazing view was totally complimented by the food. Very tasty, great portions and the calamari is huge! Definitely going to be a favourite GOTO.

Good prices. Fresh ..Great food. Amazing burgers and are a huge. You have got to try the sweet potato chips. We are regulars. Highly recommend. They have tables outside if you choose to eat there. Easy parking. You can call ahead your order for a quicker service.

Have had take-away twice from here and it has been very good both times. Perfectly cooked fish and I highly recommend the Parmesan and chilli calamari. I deducted one star because potato scallops are my favourite side and these ones were a bit too heavy with the batter and the potato was a bit crunchy.

I find the quality of the food here to always be good. Chips are to my liking (fluffy with crunchand their battered fish has good flavour. A good selection of menu items to choose from.

We are regulars here and we love it, it’s the only place our kids will eat everything that’s put down in front of them! The Cod is always fresh, juicy and cooked to perfection. The salt and pepper calamari is always amazing, the chips are always crispy and delicious. I don’t usually leave reviews but we always receive consistently great food and service. Thankyou!

Best seafood on the coast.Always quick to answer the phone and ask how you want things, eg crumbed/battered, chicken salt for chips.Prices are good and it’s quality.Get the kids $5 worth of chips almost religiously on the weekend and staff are used to the order, that when I show up, they almost never ask what my order is, they have it ready for me when I arrive.Only real downside is it’s some times really busy because they are so good.

We’ve been a few times now and the quality is great. Best of all though was that, thanks to their Gluten Free options, my wife was able to have Crumbed Fish/Calamari/Sea Scallop and a Potato Scallop for the first time in 9 years! Thanks for going the extra mile.

Not your average fish n chips. This place is great for food and service. Theres something special in the little differences and thought that goes into the whole menu and each time I open my parcel Im am always a very happy customer. Quality and very reasonable pricing also 👌
