Jurassic Park River Adventure™ in Orlando

Very big drop at the end but very fun. Lots of flashy lights and sirens. Did not like those.

I was very lucky being a single rider, I literally walked through the door, and 1 minute later I was in the front of the queue ready ride.The ride it’s self was fun, but obviously in comparison to other rides it was quite short and relied on mostly on the climactic waterfall drop.The reason I’ve docked a star is the beginning of the ride needs updating, the dinosaurs look tired and I swear the first one was even broken. I’m sure with the money they are making they could update it a little.Worth it just for the simple fact the queue was short for me, and even for others it said 25min, which seems pretty good in comparison to other rides.

Fun ride with a 80ft drop to top it off. You dont get too wet if you dont sit in the front row. Highly recommend.

My daughters first coaster but she loved it and its still amazing although it has been shortened.

Awesome ride. Got a little wet. Was in row 4. Not too bad. Very fun. About 35 min wait at 4:45pm

My second favorite of the Jurassic park attractions, behind velocicoaster only. All the water tour with the dino robots is very nice and the drop in the end gives an unique feeling.

Listen, is it dated? Sure. Do the animatronics just sometimes work? Whatever. Is there a giant Trex and fun drop? Absolutely.Dont take it too seriously and youre going to have a really great time. Dont worry about a poncho for those trying to not get wet just sit in the back two rows and at worst the top of your head will get a little water.I would wait 7 years to ride this ride.

Went on this ride for the first time in a couple of years. You can see where the work has been done refreshing the ride.But it still is only one drop!!!!

Queue is shaded, fans were on and running! Ride itself is well maintained and very fun, water ride so wear clothes that youd be okay getting wet, we didnt get soaked on this ride like we expected; but that could have been from our seating positions.Dinosaurs were all running and there and the staff were very attentive to those misbehaving!

Super fun for any dino lover , you do get wet , depending where you seated depends how wet haha but with the heat in orlando you will dry off quickly or you can wear a poncho ( must be supplied by yourself)

Really happy to see this still around! I still really enjoyed it. Hope it sticks around for many more years!Also, I didnt get THAT wet. Mosre of a misting. If you want more wet but not as great of a ride, try Dudley Doo Rights.

Fun ride ride me and my son rode twice! Once in the front,but 2nd time we had a dbag of a worker who wouldnt let us get the front again. Someone just let us wait for the front so he was just being difficult with me and my son. The ride was still amazing the first time, my son loved it and it was the first ride we did at the park! My son is a huge Jurassic Park fan so it made his day. The last drop is the absolute BEST! Youre definitely getting wet!

It was alot of fun for the whole family! My son loved it! Definitely recommend anyone big or small to go check it out

My favorite classic ride! Went on this at least twice in a row and several times throughout my stay. 12/10 would recommend!

I love this ride. Not scary at all.You dont get too wet and you can bring your kids to enjoy a good fall into the water.

An absolute classic. Ride was placed perfectly, for a wet ride there was almost no water from outside the animatronics interfering with the experience. The sights were divided well with different colorful sceneries, with two well punctuated drops on the track. Appropriately relaxing and exciting for a river ride!

This is a classic, I suggest this ride for kids or adults. A light splashing nothing serious to get your stuff soaked enough that you need to put it in a locker or anything. The line wasn’t that long but there was not much to keep you entertained during the line, however the group I was with did find a friendly gecko. I will be going to this rollercoaster every time I go to Island of Adventure!

A must do ride. Like all the rides in the Jurassic section of the park, the theming is on point. Compared to Universal Hollywood, you will generally get more wet. Because of that, this is a great ride to do mid-day when it is hot and humid. With that said, you will have little to no wait if you go in the early morning, so that is something to consider.

It was a very fun water ride. The drop was surprisingly super fun. It was a lot steeper than what I was expecting. The storyline of the attraction is fairly well done. It would be worth a 15-20 minute wait.

Really a good representation of "Jurassic Park" as a ride. Go on a "boring" (but still subtly threateningboat ride, only to get attacked by carnivores and shot into a lake.Its not really a water ride unless youre in the first two rows. Those can get soaked, everyone else tends to just get damp.Some of the animatronics have issues at times, but they do try to keep them working. You have to appreciate they have so many on one ride when parks are going to mostly screens these days.

This was our first time to Universal, and had such a great time. The Jurassic Park river adventure is definitely a must see, so much fun! You don’t really get wet but it’s more for the ride and thrill of the dinosaurs. Everyone on the ride had so much fun together even though we were all strangers. I would definitely recommend!

Great ride, we love dinosaurs . Great ending with trex.

This ride is calm til the end. Its an 85 foot drop at the end going 65 mph...straight down. If your a thrill seeker this ride is for you. Not a ride I would take my young kid on. Or if you cant stomach that drop down sensation.

A wonderful experience without of fun and water to cool u off on a hot day.

The ride on the river is exciting and not too scary for the kids.

If you love Jurassic Park you must do this!

A boat ride through a dinosaur park with not-so-scary dinosaur animatronics. Then in true theme park fashion, something goes wrong and your boat must make a hasty exit to safety. The drop is a big thrill.Will you get soaked? People who sit in the back tend to get less wet. Front seaters will be drenched.

This ride brings you right into the jurásico!! Amazing 🤩

It was a fun attraction and most with the unexpected last part of the ride hahaha. I have a lot of fun there I really enjoy it and my partner too.

Very cool ride into the jurassic world. The decorations are greatly made and definitely worth seeing. You will get wet but you will Love it 😁. For dinosaurs fans a pleasure boat ride with real life size dinosaurs moving realistically. Also for water ride fans a cool thing to do.

We visited this park twice in 3 days. It was spectacular I felt like a child. Still so much to see so much detail

This is my favorite ride ever! It’s so much fun if you’re into Jurassic Park at all (and even if you’re not, I’m sure). Some of the animatronics need some TLC, but it’s still a fun ride nonetheless.

Such a great ride! You can get pretty wet if you are in the front, but you can stay pretty dry sitting in the middle of the back rows. The dinosaurs still look great. It’s also a great night ride and looks really cool with the lights.

We had a fantastic time at the park. Visiting Florida in October was pretty bearable. We plan on visiting the park again in February when the weather is much better. Thank you 😊

Did not disappoint! My six year old loved it the details were so awesome! The ride is pretty smooth till the big drop. Its a must do.

Oh my gosh!! ⚠️The VELOCICOASTER, I am not happy with. This nearly sixty year old, was shaken, twisted, and tossed around like a rag doll! I personally would recommend, women to NOT wear chest revealing clothes. This floppy topped women had to "adjust" as we were coming into the station.Please also, relieve yourself prior to the ride!!! Know your limits!I would recommend UNIVERSAL studios to at the very least, put on the seats, head protection pads, maybe even a strap. GiggleOh, and half way through the lines, where the water fountains are, a restroom!!!However, my 22 year old granddaughter loved it. We created memories to laugh about in the future!Thats what made it all worth it!!

Its SAD how Universal studios has cared for the screen used ford explorer as it sits to rot in the sun compared to the jeep wrangler. It seems to get better care although it is not painting after any jeep seen on screen. But all aside it is fun

We love..love this ride..Is one of the must do of the park, if you are visiting Island you have to hop on it,is not that updated but the nostalgia and the memories of the old movies come back to life as soon as you start hearing the theme song and the big gate opens. ThatsMagical to mee..I really like the experience of bringing new people to see the ride and watch their faces and emotion thru it..I really like the ride during the day is more realistic to me than during Night time.Be aware that if you are recording they dont play the sound of the T Rex at the end. Soo put your phones away before that.You dont have to wear the masks during the ride but you have to while in the lines and theres a chance that youll get wet.But is worth it.Waiting lines could be long if you go during high seasons or weekends and in Florida weekends starts at Thursdays.

Even though its dated the nostalgia of it was wonderful. Adults and kids had a great experience and the raptor wrangler and Blue the raptor were doing photo ops are absolutely wonderful.This was a must see for the kids and for olall of us were glad it was a part of our first time here.EDIT:Try to do this at night as well. The darkness really adds to the experience

Ride was true to the move scenes & was a thrilling ride. Be prepared to get drenched almost entirely! If you have a poncho or jacket put it on before getting on.

Fun for the family, you dont have to wear your mask since its outdoors and socially distanced, and you will probably get a little wet, but nothing crazy. My kids, wife and I love this ride!

My boyfriend and I rode this twice during our stay and it is by far my favorite ride. I loved it. They also take a picture during the drop at the end that you can purchase. You do get wet depending where on the boat you sit.
