Museum about life on Earth until the arrival of humankind, especially the 'Age of Dinosaurs'.
This is a great park to visit dinosaurs and take pictures. Also the museum is a fantastic prehistoric trip of all kinds of fun facts and interesting places. Great for families and just about anyone else thats interested in a little history
A great and exciting place to see, but a little shame that the information on the wall is not in english
Nothing but replicas. Amazing building. Could be much better.
Great place to visit for all ages
Its free to go there but still you need to take tickets with a fixed time
Nice place with good dinosaurs & history
A very well done museum, even the park outside (f.o.c), IS AMAZING.A very good way to spend the day with kids, the dinosaurs reproductions are almost real.Totally recommendable
We visit this museum on a weekday. It is fun for the kids and adults. There are exact replicas of the dinosaurs outside the building.
Beautiful even for adults it is Interesting.
Fantastic outside i took 2 4year olds inside they were very good but I think theyd have been just as happy staying outside. Maybe the museum needs to incoporate a bit of new tech Google 3d dinosaurs.
Great place to visit and enrich your knowledge about dinosaurs and geology. My little kids considered it boring, but I imagine that they will find it fascinating when they get older.
A good place to visit with the whole family, educational and beautiful view
Expected it to be a kids experience, but it is a beautiful museum and well designed and laid out. Wheelchair accessible, a fun gift shop, free entry on wednesdays but you do have to get a ticket with a time slot at the entrance and plentiful free parking. We enjoyed our visit!
Beautiful place and amazing viewsLoads places to enjoy with kids or by yourself!!
Bots kids and adults loved the dinosaurs museum. We enjoyed all the exhibits, size of the museum is perfect. But the best part is the location, which really feels like jurassic age. The beach nearby has real sauropod footprints, worth a visit!
Spacious layout and interesting exhibits. Not many of the information boards are in English but Google translate was good at making sense of them.
Great for kids and any adult interested in prehistoric times.
Place for kids and kids at heart
Nice museum for kids. The museum isn’t too large but interesting exhibits. The part the kids really enjoyed though was outside with the dinosaur statues and the park. If going during covid, make sure you go during the timeslot you booked for, or the stalls won’t let you in. Wednesday’s are free!
The museums design displays the exhibition in a way the captures the imagination and holds interest. Its my favourite museum.
The museum is outstanding. Great for dinolovers and for all. For all coments who complains about lack of english explanations i have a question for you. How many Spanish explanations you can find in the British museum or in the Natural History of London? The answer is not even a single word.
Definitely one of the most unique museums we’ve ever been to and absolutely worth the trip. We lucked out and were able to get tickets shortly after arriving, but I definitely recommend buying them beforehand just to be safe. Everything about the place is beautiful...the drive up, the building, it’s location, and, of course, the contents. Wonderful.
This museum is very cool but not very interactive. Children might lose interest. They usually have audio guides in English and other languages but during the pandemic they cannot provide them, and if you dont speak Spanish it might be hard to follow along as they have very little information in English.
Lovely museum for kids and not quite adults. I, single guy, science nerd, had a nice time and learned quite a bit. Wasnt aware of huge Dino presence in the area. Exhibition is equally well done to other major Dino exhibits I know of. The Dino models outside are also nice to wander around among, take selfies, and the terrace provides great view over the ocean.
Nice place to spend a few hours with children aged 10- 12 and up and learn about dinosaurs and eggs Jurassic
Very nice and informative park. My daughter is really into dinosaurs and had a amazing learning experience. We also explored the foot prints in Playa de la Griega. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Muchas gracias!
Great museum! Lots of outdoor space sprinkled with dinosaurs, a couple of big playgrounds for kids and a restaurant with really nice views.
Brilliant, my dinosaur mad son had a great time. Nice park for kids to play also. 👍
Great for kids and the T-Rex looks great, for young children it’s a good place to visit, we found it a good distraction and worth the visit
Nice place the exterior are good enough to go. The museum is also very interesting and cheap.
Nice museum, something good to consider if you go to Asturias!
A really nice small museum with good and refreshing (e.g. the big piece of the tyrannosaurus "mating scene"concepts and architecture. Sadly its not recommendable if you dont speak Spanish. There are some plates with English texts but not enough to get the whole experience. The dinosaur statues outside of the museum are a real eye-catcher and fun to pose with but the fun they bring kind of originates from them being so weirdly proportioned. Not really easy to portray dinosaurs not knowing what they looked like but these felt a bit off 😁😁😁Loved the trip there though, they view is awesome and the dinosaurs fit right in.
Fabulous place, limited parking on busy days, very I interesting but for young children it is too much info and they need fun learning so maybe prepare for this if you are taking young children. Youll find out very interesting but they will need an activity book or similar to keep you there long enough to see everything.
Well made dinosaur replicas, and the ones made of bones are really spectacular, i really liked the two dinosaurs that were mating XD wasnt expecting that. And overall a really well made museum
This is a class place to visit when in Asturias and really should be much further up there on the tourist trail. The beaches and views are stunning, but the best bit is when youre inside the museum...as, well, Ill not spoil the surprise here, but I do laugh each time I even think about it. Great spot where dinosaurs once ruled the earth.
Thanks for the great time at your museum. It was informative and fun in a fresh manner. I will highly recommend this place to all of my friends and family members.
Well worth the money, and there is free entry on a Wednesday for those that dont want to pay.
Great layout and broad collection of dinosaurs. Fascinating architecture. Our kids loved it but if they were a little older wpuls have struggled with the lack of english information
Though most of the exhibits are replicas (theres one real dinosaur bone that you can touch), the museum gives a good impression of the dinosaur era and of what was found in the cantabrian region. Scattered around the museum youll find large dinosaur statues. Ive really learned quite a bit.
Amazing setting, great exhibition. Only two toilets and cafe not very nice.
Nice place to visit with young children and an incredible environment to expend the rest of your day.
Its supposed to be the largest dinosaur museum, but mausoleum would be a better description. There are lots of dead dinosaurs but little information about them, it is badly laid out and most of the exhibits appear to be fake.
Small museum, few exhibits for its size. The day we went it was raining, which is not unusual for this part of Spain. We found it difficult to find parking and waited in line in the rain for 25 minutes to gain access. A little expensive at €7.24 per adult, compared to the usual €3.00 at most other museums.
Great place. Lots of info on fossils I actually learned something. Went with my mom and she felt very young like a new born among fossils
The museum itself well made, interesting exposition. Only small part of explanatory texts in English. Thats why 3 stars only.Nice playground for children
It is nice for kids. The pieces in the museum are a bit poor in comparison with others
Nice place to know dinosaurs history in Asturias. Kids friendly restaurant and extra activities for kids. I recommended stop here and know more about dinosaurs
Very informative museum. Perfect for kids. Took my daughter on her birthday and she loved it. The cafe has good views of the sea
Brilliant exhibitions and would recommend anyone traveling around the Asturias region to visit the Museo del Jurasico.
Good place for kids, some dinosaurs outside then several exhibits inside. Cafe for food and a good playground for the kids. Its also near a dinosaur beach.
