Incredible tiki drinks. Great late night menu. We had the fresh tuna tartare and the jerk chicken and they were both outstanding. Service was excellent too.

Food and especially drinks were beyond amazing, and our Bartender Eddie made this the best bar experience Ive ever had. Hope to return soon.

Their signature drink the Jungle Bird was delicious, but their Pain Killer didnt hit the same mark. Delicious pork belly dish tho and super friendly and attentive service. I would definitely visit again.

One of the best bars in San Juan. Went more than 3x in a week span. I believe it is a women-owned and run bar. Majority of their drinks are rum based (as expected). Great decor and ambience, and fun music at just the right volume (not too loud). Their tiki drinks come in tiki vessels. They do have a small restaurant at the side that offers small bites and main plates; sometimes the kitchen would be closed unexpectedly, but we were always fine to just grab some amazing drinks!Favorites drinks are the zombie and adios pantalones!!If you go on a weekend (Thursday night - Saturday/Sundayduring peak hours, be prepared to be placed on a waitlist for 30min-1 hour; however, theres plenty to walk around the area while you wait, and we were often called back for seating way faster than the stated wait time.If sitting in the main area, you may want to bring a light jacket in case the AC temp is chilly.

Great drink menu, perfect place for a calmer atmosphere. Food menu was more like appetizers but it was great none the less.

Love this place! A great place to grab a drink. I got the piña colada and it was so worth it! Boozy and delicious. The service was great as well. Will be sure to come back!! Better than La Factoría ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Always delicious food and cocktails here. We came during our vacation last year, returned this week, and hopefully will be back next year too.

Fantastic, just fantastic. Drinks are delicious and the food is phenomenal. I had the 24-hour sous vide and then braised pork belly sliders, I’ve had a craving for them ever since.

Absolutely LOVED JungleBird! Delicious drinks - I love tropical cocktails but cant handle those that are too sweet. Tiki bars like JungleBird that take their craft seriously and produce delicious, complex yet fruity drinks are my absolute favorite. Also loved the whole vibe and the fact that, at least when we visited, it was much more chill than lots of the other places around la placita. By far our fave bar we visited in PR (La Factoria has nothing on this place imo). Go go go!

I have had the pleasure of dining here several times. Always a great experience. Menu changes often. Asian fusion meets local inspiration. Don’t fall for the shot of DonQ to start you off! Haha. Unless, you’re going for that. I always say yes, even if I don’t need it.Great drinks made in unique egg or tiki glasses. I can’t wait to visit again.

The atmosphere was great. Drink menu kept it fresh. Service was spectacular. The Steak was...interesting, left much to be desired and cooked to the wrong temperature. The pork dish was basically soggy nachos. I have, honestly, never tasted anything worse than their pork in vinaigrette. I will not be back and Ill be having a serious conversation with my friend who recommended it. My girlfriend says "Ill never fully get over this. this is what nightmares are made of".

What a trip! This has to be the hippest tiki bar Ive been to. The drinks were outstanding, the service was warm and welcoming, the prices were competitive, the ambiance was truly magical. Cool outside seating area in a mini tropical jungle with comfy, lounging furniture. Cant say enough good things about the service...water served immediately and refilled constantly, catering to every need and want we could legally throw at them. I definitely got my tiki off on this one! Started with Mai Tai, then their eponymous Junglebird and followed up with a Better & better. Tasted some of the drinks around me too! Wow, what a night! Go to this place, youll be glad you did.

Food and drinks were fantastic. I ordered Crack Eggplant and Summer is over, both meatless options but were flavorful. Drinks were also packed with flavor but blows a good punch :)

Cocktails were inspired and unique. Food was delicious, fresh, Asian inspired with a Puerto Rican twist, and complemented the drinks well. The staff was helpful and professional, but stayed out of the way unless needed. My only complaint is that it is not bigger, I would hate to miss an opportunity to eat here because there weren’t enough tables.

Our uber driver casually recommended jungle bird as my friends and I were starving after a salsa class. Wow! What a jewel we found in the heart of La Placita. We ordered the croquettes and the CRACK EGGPLANTS!!! This was one of the best dishes Ive had on the island. All the flavors of sweet, spicy, and crunchy worked in unison to give my taste buds the happy dance from beginning to end.

Fantastic cocktail bar and the best croquettes that we had on the island. The music is fantastic as well. Highly recommend checking it out, especially before or after you visit La Placita.

Can’t say enough positive things about this place!! Drinks are on point and what I had was very strong and snuck up on me in the best of ways and it was only $9! Food was also so tasty. Not as cheap but I was so happy. Hubby and I had the kimchi croquettes and the crack eggplant. Both were A++! Don’t know what our server’s name is but he was great as well; super attentive. He was there tonight (7/21/21).

Best service I had on the whole island! Drinks and food were both amazing! If you like craft cocktails this is the place for you. Ambience was great as well. I was told they make their own orgeat!

I went for the drinks and it meet expectations and then some. I was not expecting the food to be such a delight.Do yourself a favor and get there early. Be patient of theres a wait and order you face off if you got a chance to get seated.

The Jungle Bird is an excellent place to eat or just go for drinks. The service is great and the staff very friendly. Stop by if youre in Puerto Rico, you wont regret it!

Excellent appetizers and great service. We had the chicken and waffles for one appetizer... the chicken was so crunchy and tender. Really good flavor.

Excellent little hidden tiki bar off of La Placita! More imaginative and original rum cocktails I have ever seen, in addition to a variety of other gin, vodka, and whiskey drinks. Great atmosphere and the bar food looked great as well. Amazing spot for the price. ($8-$12 for cocktails)

Food and cocktails were divine!!! The kimchi fried rice was amazing as well as whatever cocktails the staff recommended. They note what you like and have great options.

Food and drinks were amazing. Our server provided great drink and food recommendations and was super attentive the whole night. Highly recommend the Crack Egglant. I’ve never had anything like it and will definitely be craving it after I leave. Cocktails were delicious as well. Will definitely be back in the future!

Came with my mom and shes vegan. They catered to all her requests and the food was amazing!!! Is there a better word than amazing. And the drinks...omg triple amazing! The waiters are so helpful and friendly. Loved everything here

My friends and I pay the Junglebird a visit not long ago. The ambiance was just perfect ! Very kind and attentive service ! And the food to die for !!! OMG !! 🤤🤤 Im a fan of chef Paxxito and wanted to say hello ! To our surprise ?!! Chef Paxxito took a minute to stop at our table and say HELLO !! Guuuaaat ?!! That really added to an already awsome night !! Cant wait to come back !! Thank you so very much !! 🙏🏾🙏🏾

This place is my favorite spot when Im hanging out at "La placita" great food, amazing drinks and 10/10 vibes.

Visiting restaurants during a pandemic has been a very interesting experience. when deciding to visit an establishment, you are entrusting the staff to not only keep you safe but making it worth the risk. You are investing in the atmosphere. With that being said, I regret visiting this place. I was very excited for the food due to pictures and previous reviews, but upon arriving I was regrettably greeted by “Daniel”. He was very rude, cold, and lacked customer service skills. thankfully “Eddie” (another employeewas very attentive! She explained options for drinks and keep giving us updates on our order. I give this place 2 stars because if you want to have a hospitable experience it shouldn’t matter what server you go to. Junglebird, please hire people with passion. But I must admit the food was great.

Very cool bar, with an outdoor seating area. We ordered food thinking it would be a meal, but they were more like tapas, which was fine, we just ordered more. Some incredibly unique cocktails, as well as dishes. Thanks for your wonderful service and suggestions Eddie!

I’m not sure why this place isn’t hyped up more. I’ve done fine dining and rustic hipster places in NY and Boston. This is absolutely and undoubtedly the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The tapas menu (which is versatile and changing was UNBELIEVABLE, not to mention the great, off the path ambiance. We sampled so much of San Juan and Puerto Rico over a majestic two weeks and this place was, par none, the best. Get the drinks, order the whole menu, just get all of it. Im not even sure if they want the public knowing since there was little wait time; so many locals just treated it as a run of the mill place. I don’t know, maybe Im just gas lighting. See for yourself. Order the food and see. I feel crazy, but in all the best ways. I’m just happy I had this experience in my life.-Mike

Lovely cocktails, expertly made for a very reasonable price. I absolutely love the decorations and appreciated how the bartenders interacted with everyone. They seemed to make even first time visitors feel like regulars.

A tropical drinks bar in the Caribbean? Groundbreaking,,,seriously tho the drinks are good, the vibe is raw, and the food is from my friend Paxx Caraballo Moll who is in the 2019 class of Best New Chefs by Food and Wine magazine. Dont sleep on the eggplant, I still dream of it. They are absolutely one of the most exciting chefs out there today!

Super cute tiki bar with delicious drinks, right by La Placita. Perfect date spot. They have games you can take to your table and play while you eat/drink.

Okay so this place rocks. Happened here since we visited the factory in San Juan and heard the same people owned it. The drinks are top notch and well priced. The staff is friendly and kind. They had live music which was really awesome and fun. The vibe is just perfect 😍👌. Visit this place on your trip!

Great drinks but do not miss out on the amazing food!!! Creative and delicious. The most unbelievable eggplant. Super crispy wings, yummy cheese balls and n and on. Eat, drink and be merry amongst an unbelievably friendly staff and a superb Chef.

This has been the best bar I have visited in San Juan. The decor was simple but beautiful.The size of the bar is cozy and very inviting, reason why it gathers a good crowd.The bartenders are very kind and will take their time in explaining about the bar’s story as well as the different drinks offered through their extensive menu.

The absolute best tiki drinks Ive ever had. Every drink on the menu is amazing, complex and delicious. The service is incredible and the bartenders were incredibly knowledge and friendly. We wanted dinner, but they didnt have food yet. The bartenders wanted us to enjoy ourselves, so they let us order food from another restaurant nearby and they went out to the restaurant and brought the food to us. Ive never experienced a staff that goes extremely out of their way, going above and beyond our expectations, to make sure we had a great time.I will forever remember this experience!
