Jungle Cruise - Tourist attraction in Buenaventura Lakes, United States
Please finish every other ride before you even try this one. Very boring ride. This was the worst ride on our trip. It was instilled in our minds for the wrong reasons. And the wait is way too long for such a bad ride. Probably got the popularity due to how new the movie was. Its just as bad as the movie. My two stars are for the sturdy railing to get on the ride and hardworking crew.
The Jungle Cruise is a great adventure! Skipper Jenna gave us an entertaining tour. Cute animals and amusing exhibits to enjoy! Great for all ages!
Classic Disney ride thats fun for kids.
Great for all ages. Go first thing when the park opens or around 2-4pm during the weekday (September 2022)
Not really sure why you’d queue for ages for this ride, although the ship captain was amusing.
Corny, campy dad jokes, but thats what makes this ride so endearing. An overlay is done to help celebrate the Christmas holidays. Its an attraction that can be enjoyed by the entire family! Added bonus: you get to see the back side of water! Yay!
The only excitement on this ride is how the Disney staff are in character throughout the ride. Not really much to see other than seeing fake animals and a waterfall.
Our Tour guide was amazing! Nickname did a great job at entertaining the tour!
Nice slow paced rollercoaster ride, this is more for someone who isn’t a thrill seeker and likes to laugh along to the jokes that the skipper says. Personally I don’t think it’s worth a long wait so if you were to go on it do it when it’s a short wait time or use the lighting lane on this. Since the wait is miserable in the heat since the fans are not very powerful and there not much to entertain yourself in the lines.
Skipper Davis was incredibly knowledgeable on the Congo and Nile river in which we cruised. Knew many interesting tidbits about Elephants, dont recall what they were, wish I had a better memory. This cruise also included the 8th wonder of the world (who knew there were more than 7???? amazingthe BACKSIDE of water, and here I thought I had seen all there is to see from water, but as it turns out there was a backside deep in Denial the whole time. Also got to see THE Jungle Book, and world-famous guy, Dwayne The Rock Johnson, so pretty cool Id say. If you dont like this review then Skipper Sydney is the one who took me out
For me this was a very disappointing ride. The wait was not worth it. Our "skipper" tried her best to make something of it. But I can imagine that she was bored out of her mind doing this ride the whole day long. This ride is for small children only. Wish they had build this in Animal Kingdom and used real animals.
It’s a cute ride, but I wouldn’t endure the wait times that this attraction usually attains. We Genied the attraction and only waited 5 min to get on when it was a 60 min wait. Our Skipper guide was very good and brought some comedy to the role. The ride itself is old, although I guess it is thought of as a classic.
Love this ride. I think the interesting scene setting as you wait in line is almost as good as the boat ride itself. The lines for this one get really long mid-day, but if you wait until after dark, a lot of the kids go home and you can hop on a whole lot faster!
If youre able to get lightning lane, fine, chill ride. If not, waiting more than 30+ minutes, not worth it at all. Trust
I love a dad joke so cruising along with steamboat silly is right up my alley, laughing along with a good boat captain and all the funny escapades on the circular route. The ride queue was not too bad considering it was in the heart of the magic kingdom, its quite well covered so if you have to wait for a while its not in direct sunlight.
Not like it used to be. Im so done with this line...... Estimated wait time off by just over 45 minutes.... TRASH everywhere... 3/4 filed boats... :(...
Skipper Molly was an excellent guide and made the whole experience awesome. That bachelor degree of hers was well worth the money.
Great vacation spot for the family. But the long line waiting for a short ride is out of control. Stand by sign says 50 minutes but in reality it was 1 hour and 20 minutes. And you are stuck in a very tight closed line with no room to back out. Dont even attempt this if you are medically challenged!!!I refuse to pay a very expensive Disney Park, entry fee....make an advance reservation, and then be forced to pay again for the privilege of not standing in line for over an hour, for a less than 10 minute ride.Disney either has to increase the guest capacity of the rides or, the efficiency of loading guests onto the rides. Or cut back on the reservations allowed into any particular park. Im just saying.
Funny ride depending on how good your Captain is. Great for younger kids, especially if they are new to rides.
I mean, a sarcastic, dad joke filled boat ride. Yes please
Best dad jokes on earth. This is a ride Ive been going on for almost 50 years, and its a must-do every time I go to the Magic Kingdom.
Not worth the wait. When we got in line, it was a 90-minutes wait time. We waited over two hours. The line was way longer inside the building. The ride itself was okay. The guide was entertaining, so that saved this rating from a two star. Quote from my sister: "He made me laugh when I thought I could only cry from the pain."
Got to ride this ride at night time for the first time and it really changes the experience for the better. Was super neat. The lines were constantly one of the longest in the entire park. I believe it has to do with the recent movie release. The ride itself has never been one of my favorites. I think it’s just okay. Waiting over an hour to ride at night was cool. But I don’t think it’s worth the wait in a normal situation. The animals are outdated and the script the captain uses is a bit annoying overall.
The lines are usually big, but that’s because you are talking about a classic! One of the most traditional rides in Disney history! Enjoy a boat tour with a comedian skipper thru the main Jungles around the world! If you are lucky enough you may even se The Back Side of the Water!
Unpopular opinion Im sure, but this ride is extremely overrated. Im confused by the consistent 75-125 minute wait time. I felt our lightening lane was wasted on this ride.Maybe you need a good boat guide, or maybe Im just spoiled by the Kilaminjaro Safari at AK being real animals, but this ride was pretty cheesy and boring. I see other reviews talking about it being funny with the boat guides. Ours was a complete dud. He would literally just say, "theres a big rock right there." Completely disinterested and no humour to it.The ride is down a river with robotic animals throughout. Also a waterfall which was the funnest part for me.
I like this ride very entertaining and lots of fun the Cast member is on a script, but some add on to it and majority of the time they are funny.
This ride is a staple for any #DisneyWorld regular! Excited to see if there is any new life breathed into this ride with the new Jungle Cruise movie out now!
Fun ride, especially if youre lucky enough to get Skipper Casey as your Skipper!
The jungle cruise is worth a ride. You have to listen closely for the humor, but even if you miss it, there’s a lot to see on the ride. You’re going to get splashed a little bit, but if you go on a hot day, you likely won’t mind. The line moves fairly quickly, but still, check back if the wait is more than 45 minutes or so!
Can have long lines but the gentle cruise and dry humor comedy are worth it
Very fun attraction it cannot feel thrilling but still fun
I really enjoy the Jungle Cruise attraction but almost every time I visit the park this ride seems to be closed for refurbishment. I could not believe that it was open the last time I was there! This was one of the first rides I got on in the Magic Kingdom and it was just as great as I remembered it!
Always fun and different, every skipper has their own take on ride. But they all are good to great. And the jingle cruise is another great overlay for Christmas.
Fun and memorable ride that gives a chance to relax on a boat while listening to some purposely punny jokes. Cultural respect has led to the jokes being tamed down and no longer so edgy; the comedian boat pilots do their best to show you a good time. The indoor temple is a welcome break from the heat and from the jokes, as the pilot will let the music and sound effects speak for themselves. My favorite set decoration is probably the crashed plane and the overturned running Jeep. This ride always seems in danger of being dated but has stood the test of time for half a century. Recommended to take the trip, even with long lines.
This ride is just meh. The animal animatronics are very dated and some are straight up broken. The ride operators do not seem very enthused. This ride hopefully will get a major update once the movie comes out. Length is short comparatively as well...
One of the more classic rides for MK, it has been a staple for years and hasnt changed much at all. I love this one in so much as it is a classic and is consistent, however, we dont usually bother riding it because its not necessarily a go-to ride for us. There isnt anything bad about it, but there are others wed go on first. They always have a fun narrator that keeps puns going throughout the whole ride. The boat is on a track through the water, so its smooth and really good for any age. Animatronics are everywhere on this one, from elephants to safari tourists. The wait time is usually pretty low and its a quick on and off ride, so its good for a fun trip. The line and the ride itself are both outside, so its not a cool off ride!Overall: AA classic ride. Not a go-to for us, but it is fun!
Went in December 2019. Loved how they make it look all festive for Christmas. Our tour guide was hilarious and overall this was a fun ride for both adults and children. Wasn’t the most popular ride that day so we didn’t wait long at all.
This is a short trip in Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Orlando. This cruise lasts for about 10 minutes. During the cruise, a narrator take a boat with 15-20 people around a water path where you can see artificial wild animals, people from different ethnic groups and many more. This is a wonderful experience inside the Magic Kingdom. There could be a longer trip because it is awesome.
Nice ride, especially if you are into corny jokes.
Just got back from Disney and this ride brought back soooo many memories. I almost forgot it was here. Our guide, Jason had some of the best puns! His jokes were great.
If you go during Christmas the Jungle Cruise gets themed as the Jingle Cruise.I’ve been in previous years and remember having fun listening to all the cheesy jokes on this boat ride adventure.Unfortunately, we went during early December and got caught in a line much much much longer than what was anticipated. We left ourselves enough time to be in a long line, ride the ride, wander the park, and catch the ferry to our dinner reservation. Well, we thought we did. Our queue time kept growing longer and longer to the point that we had to leave the line, miss the ride, and still arrive late to our dinner reservation. We never got to ride the Jingle Cruise that day (but it was really only the one hiccup in our whole Disney holiday).Make note: get a fastpass if you want to ride this ride. It’s very popular and they favour fastpasses on this boat ride. Also make note: (at least in the winterthe ride does not have the evening extra magic hours. I assume it’s too dark then.
Another Disney classic, timeless fun ... Each skipper has their own style, and all are guaranteed to elicit everything from groans at the puns to belly laughs. It just never gets old ... "The backside of water"!
Always a great experience! The Skipper makes it depending on how effervescent they are.
Not one of the best rides but still fun
Our tour guide was great! She brought her A game with jokes and the kids loved it.
Disney actually makes standind in line somewhat enjoyable! There is a "radio broadcast" playing overhead that includes peppy music and very funny announcements that add to the ambiance of the adventure! BTW, there is even a drinking fountain...The only real issue is that the guest WiFi is sketchy today....
Nice boat ride but the jokes were terrible. Maybe more fun for kids.
Its a relaxing boat ride with a hilarious skipper. Because its guided by a skipper, you can hear different jokes every time you ride it.
Love love love this ride. Its so punny. Lol and the Christmas addition is even better.
Awesome ride. We had skipper Adam. He had a very funny dry sense of humour. Had us in stitches. Ive done the ride many times and he still had some new jokes to add.
