Without doubt the worst Chinese I have ever been to! All the staple things like beef in black bean sauce, Singapore noodles, sweet and sour pork, in fact any top Chinese dish you can think was off the menu! The menu which I might add was mainly in Chinese! We were initially met with a moody waitress who made it clear she was put out because we didn’t book ahead. Then she practically barked “hour and half for dim sum”. As we were hungry we didn’t wait for the dim sum. We ordered a couple meat dishes (barbecue roast pork, beef and pepperand a couple of vegetable dishes, ALL of which arrived wrapped in the most disgusting, jelly-like parcel! Every single dish; this vile glutinous covering of some sort. We then ordered prawns which came covered in the most disgusting ORANGE MAYONNAISE which quite frankly tasted like sick! The whole meal was revolting. £50 for two of us and even crispy aromatic duck wasn’t on the menu! Never ever again. The orange mayo was ghastly! Lastly they had the cheek to apply a 12.5% surcharge!! The bill got paid before I could see and if I had known, I would have asked for that to be removed straight away!! Just awful.

Our favourite place for Dim Sum in London. We are there most weekends for lunch.

Not the cheapest but the new restaurant and management have been amazing. Visited twice since the refurbishment, faultless service and ever so friendly. The food is well worth the premium that you pay. We are very lucky to have this exceptional restaurant so nearby.

With an uninspiring front we were surprised by the beautiful tasteful interior design.The dim sum menu was small but delicious, with artisanal twists. Highly recommend!

Lovely venue, very professional staff, great tasting food. Was worth the visit. My only problem was the parking was too expensive. For colindale it was 50p per 15min this in my view is extortionate and not the restaurants fault does put me off the idea of going back

Excellent dim sum…probably one of the best places in London for dim sum (and I’ve eaten a lot of dim sum over the years in London). Fairly reasonably priced for the quality too. 5/5 for foodService is so so… I think the staff could be a more friendly and engaged but small quibble given the lovely food. 3/5 for service

The food is exquisite and the service impeccable; Diana, our waitress, was very friendly welcoming us from the entry, updating us at every step about the wait time and always checking if we need anything. On top of that the owner of the restaurant knows that honouring a booking and make sure every customer is happy is as important as the money he gets for his business to run. We will defo be back!!

This is a really lovely restaurant! Service was fantastic. Food was delicious. We ordered of the vegetarian menu and it was delicious! Highly recommended to any vegetarians that want tasty Chinese. The price was about £30 per person with 1 alcoholic drink.

Located in a new(ishdevelopment in Colindale. Very nice staff and food was great. Portions were quite small but surprisingly filling. Drinks were strong but did take a while to come, even though the restaurant was empty. Would definitely go back for a date night or birthday dinner!

Quality of the food is very good, but personally because of my seafood allergy, the choice was a bit limited

Really Great food in a surprisingly upscale decor. What a little hidden Gem! Half tempted to keep this a secret, but equally motivated to make sure this place stays open, I highly recommend a trip to JM Oriental. The refurb has been done to a very high standard. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. The food was delicious with a heightened level of quality and ingredients. Prices were very reasonable and put restaurants twice as expensive in Mayfair to shame.without exaggeration, and based on eating at many Michelin started restaurants around the world, this is a fantastic restaurant. I could expect this to be added as a Michelin Bib Gourmand if not a Michelin star. Go. Enjoy. Thank me later!

Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Went for dim sum after hearing about their refurbishment. They’ve modernised the dim sum classics, such as truffle shu mai, which was excellent. The XO seafood noodles, Shanghai xiao long bao, and turnip cakes were also great. Worth the journey from central London!

Very good dim sum restaurant in Colindale, with quite a lot of special dim sum instead of the traditional one. Price is reasonable with very convenient parking onsite.

Food is great. Service is great. Just hope that they will widen their menu but overall experience is awesome!

10/10 food but the service could have been a tiny bit better as it was my birthday and they wouldn’t swap the pork for crispy shredded beef 😥

This place is a gem! All the things we ordered were nice (custard bao, xiao long bao, special fried rice, corn chicken soup). Staffs were very courteous.

Beautiful elegant restaurant, relaxed ambience. The food was phenomenal, so much effort has gone into marrying flavours, textures and presentation. In particular the beef steak puff pastries, taro dumplings and the dim sum were absolutely delicious. Really lovely dining experience.

Food is lovely and fresh Vermicelli Rolls are my fav. Staffs are friendly and helpful too. In general, the food reminds me of my childhood in Hong Kong.

It’s quite yummy for most ordered dishes. Definitely will come again, price is middle price segment, depending on the food types.

I love this placeThere is no other Chinese restaurant that beats this one in my opinionFirst I ever came here was 2014 and although things changed over the years I keep returning, lately less than I would want to but even if its just once in a blue moon I enjoy it every single time.We do celebrate important events in our family here.The staff is well trained and there for you, they are everywhere at all times and yet not on your shoulder.Food has been always fresh, the portions are big and the price is great but in my opinion doesnt really reflect on what you get and to explain I feel that I get Micheline starred food at fast food price.Also today I have discovered that my favourite desert there was awarded last year.Going forward I feel that is a must to mention the really great way that they present the food.The restaurant is cosy, clean, romantic, yet child friendly.For my husband and I the only downside about it its that every single time after a meal we better roll than walk 🤣🤣.I am not one that finishes just because its already paid, if I am done I am done but here I cannot stop. And anyway if you think you have had enough they are more than happy to pack your leftovers.There is also parking available, it is not their parking, you need to pay for it and its not very cheap either, but at least you have where to park and I think it is managed by just park.I will definitely return and I will definitely recommend.

All I can say is this restaurant is 5stars from the food, to the staff, to the ambience!!!We are blessed enough to live near by, and would highly recommend as a takeaway and to eat in.The staff are very accomodating, the food is absolutely delicious, and the restaurant is decorated really nice. You get the same experience as a lot of Michelin star restaurants in the West End!!!Celebrated my birthday with 12 guests and everyone loved it, all said they will go back!!!

Very tasty lunch.Dim sum was amazing. Steamed buns where very fluffy and the filling was rich.Service was friendly and fast.

Really enjoyed my experience,The dumplings are just so good ! And I love to eat dumplings !All the food tasted fresh nicely seasoned.Great customer service being that we had quite a large and demanding group.We weren’t sure what we wanted to drink and the bar tender was so nice and asked us what kind of flavours we liked and he brought out his suggestions … which were bang on.Great food great service and reasonable prices, perfect night x

They have changed the menu , however they have kept the old menu for takeaway, this is good but it is overpriced ! . The customer service is almost unbearable, take or leave it!? " It is what it is." The management is not trying to provide the good service to the customers and, with that influence the waiter tried to convinced us that the soup can be eaten by fork as they were short of disposable spoons, mind you it was 2 PM! Ridiculous! Medioka service, terrible food, bad quality and most dishes almost inedible, expensive for what and where it is and couldnt manage their bookings on time to seat their guests at the times booked... all on all a bad experience and wont be going back there again. Sorry, but dont usually like leaving low score reviews but unless the management arent aware then this may point them in the right direction....

This restaurant has gone through a completely new renovation from its entire interior design to menu since this summer. I went recently and was surprised at how beautiful it’s become, the ambience is very comfortable and elegant - perfect place to have drinks (cocktails, wine etcwhilst talking comfortably. If you went here before the renovation and didn’t have the best experience, definitely give this place another go because I believe the chefs have changed and the menu has improved greatly. The dim-sum and meal choices are little compared to the average Chinese restaurant but in exchange every dish is made to a high quality standard. I highly recommend everything but in particular for dim-sum, the mushroom truffle bun, beef steak puff pastry and baked barbecued pork bun blew me away. Dinner was also incredibly enjoyable and none of the dishes were oily or too heavy in taste - the truffle duck was so delicious. Will definitely be back!

Very pleasant surroundings and spacious seating. Dim sum was of a high standard presented and prepared with care and style.West end prices but worth it in my opinion.Overall very good however one waiter was a bit rude hence 4 stars.

Andrew what can i say, everything was amazing - the new decor, the food the service!!! My wife and I moved out of the area a few years ago, we used to go here quite often and i am glad we managed to find time to go yesterday. Thank you to all the staff, we had a really nice evening and the food was really nice - the boa buns, the dim sum, the steak in XO sauce, noodles, the dessert. We will definitely be back really soon!

An absolute gem of a restaurant. The decor is beautiful and very high end. The staff are absolutely fantastic and I really enjoyed talking with them. The star of the show is the food. It is a short and well though out menu and it was faultless. I eat oriental food frequently and with easy access to the west end im spoilt but this is some of the best I have ever had! This place is delightful and is my new fave restaurant in NW.

Food was very mediocre. Went for dim sum during the “eat out to help out” scheme. Haven’t been in a while but the prices were crazy inflated! £6 for a tiny dim sum that tasted exceptionally mediocre. Har gao (prawn dumplingstasted fishy and not fresh at all, dim sum variety has shrunk considerably too.Furthermore, they’ve apparently signed a contract with Deliveroo that requires people to only order via deliveroo. Otherwise, you can take advantage of the way out to help out scheme, and even then, you have to make multiple orders if you’re a party of over 2! Most dim sums are absent from the deliveroo menu. The prices on the deliveroo menu are also different from the menu that they give.Also you don’t get 50% off if you pay by cash! (They are card/deliveroo only).Service wise: it was literally run by a single lady, who was very helpful, especially with the confusing nature of the deliveroo situation. Asked another lady for some chilli oil, she acknowledged us and then just completely forgot!TL;DR: All in all, fishy both literally and metaphorically, avoid at all costs!

Save your time and dont go there. Waited for food for 2 hours and at the end they came and said that they ate closing and can offer take away.We waited another 30min and received our "HALF" of "roasted duck" which was £20 and you looked like and tasted like scraps... And nothing close to a roasted duck!!!The only nice person there was Andrew who did apologise for the experience. Other than that we felt invisible the whole time.

Very nice dimsum in Colindale with easy parking out front. The loh ba gao and cheung fun we’re particularly good. We had most things on the menu at lunch and the quality was generally very high. I just wish we lived closer!

Nice dim sum menues available after noon. Remember to bring your cash as you can get 10% off if paid by cash. Do also note a faulty car park machine in front of the restaurant only accepts cash.

Delicious food, especially the Dim Sum at the lunchtime is exquisite! Friendly staffs with wonderful service. Also provides home delivery through phone, or on JustEat, Deliveroo and UberEat, very convenient for the local customers.

This has been my go-to restaurant for last few years. Really trusted them with all aspects of my food, however over time their reputation exceeded them. I will never be ordering food from them again because i found a HUGE maggot in the sauce.

That is a simply AMAZING Chinese restaurant. Exceptionally friendly staff, fresh and tasty food, great interior, too. Today is my second visit there and definitely I will return here again!
