Love, love, love this place. A bit expensive but worth it for a treat.

So yummy! I had the mushroom soup and kale salad, and both were delicious. Decent portions, too.

Delicious!!!! This place is my favorite breakfast place in Oakland. It is the perfect intersection between classic breakfast food that I crave when getting breakfast out and still trendy enough to be interesting and delicious. For example they have an elevated breakfast sandwich with fancy cheese and delicious scrambled eggs and potatoes that you can get with sauteed greens. Also they are vegan and gluten free friendly (I think). They have a cute little back patio. Great food and good vibes. Highly recommend.

Loved this little spot, excellent to relax with a cup of chai and read a book in their back garden. The service was good, they custom made a chai without any sweetener for me which was very nice of them.

My drink was delicious and there is a decent amount of seating but both people who worked there had bad attitudes, as if they didn’t want to be serving anyone.

Loved the relaxing ambiance and the care taken with the food’s preparation and beautiful appearance. Salads, pancakes and other breakfast food was delicious. Only suggestion would be to improve the drip coffee, which was a tad weak.

The cheddar chive biscuits are AMAZING and the vibe is chill.

This place is always nice for a bite and tea. All the dishes Ive tried have been lovely. Have had a mushroom soup, omelette, various sandwiches, and a beet tartine on separate occasions. They change the menu regularly and have vegan, veggie, and gf options. The baked goods are also very good and there is a nice tea and coffee selection.

Great service and great service and food! Healthy options, I would request that they have all organic and vegan menu in the future. That would be amazing! ☺️I went there for a business luncheon ordered three items: bone broth 🥣 with the spinach 🥬 and avocado, 🥑 mixed green salad, 🥗 and vitality oat milk latte ☕️

Food was not mind blowing but was quality, my chai was normal quality, the espresso latte was smooth. Cute outdoor seating in back. Has GF/V options and labels.

Such a delightful cafe. Wifi is free Monday through Friday, which makes it a great place to get some work done. I highly recommend the lavender lemonade.

The place was cute tables a little tight went on a Sunday was not happy about the menu I wanted breakfast. Everything had egg in it and I asked if I can get egg whites cause Im allergic to yolks the guy was like no we only do whole eggs. So I got a salad but everything else looked good and my friend got a breakfast sandwich, he said it was great. I wont go back personally but if you dont have any allergies it should be good.

A real Oakland gem! Local, woman owned, delicious. I met at Julies for an early morning meeting with some ladies. The menu options were surprisingly wholesome! Staff was kind and accommodating. Didnt think of Julies for breakfast before but now I certainly do!

My favorites here are the pu-erh tea (they brew it, yay!), the fried egg sandwich, and the breakfast hash.

Good selection of coffee and teas, small but interesting (and deliciousfood menu. Seating limited but usually there are a few available. Seemed family friendly during the day. Nice neighborhood place to grab a coffee with a friend or hang out and read a few chapters of your book!

I love coming to Julies to work in between my clients! The food and drink selection is great! There are many different options for milk for your drinks which I really appreciate since I dont consume dairy.

I remember when Julies opened up in Alameda and Im so excited that theyve expanded to Oakland! The ambience is really charming, great art on the walls, fresh pastries, teas galore, and lovely breakfast options. I got the beef brisket and it was rich, hearty, and hit the spot. My wife got the heirloom tomato tartine, it was fresh and delightful. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Julies replaces Nick & Arons with same structure and layouts​ just different offerings and modern eccentric furnitures. Since its their second day there are some areas to improve on and eventually get it done. Ladies at the counter are happy and engaging from the moment you put in order till its handed to you. Menu is a little different from their Alameda location. My cappuccino and was perfect. When asked what beans are used? They responded​ by saying Taylor Maid (a local roastercoffee beans are used. Bacon/chive biscuit was tasty with chopped bacon bits embedded on the sides. The inside was soft and fluffy with sliced chive pieces spread out evenly. Best of all was the top crown on biscuit. It has a slight crunch, but not so hard that it seems burnt. Btw, theyll be having a grand opening on March 31st from 5-7pm with tons of food and activities for the kids too.
