I waited a very long time for my order and when I got it it didnt even taste good for the pricing. I waited over 30 minutes for my order and all I ordered was a Philly cheese steak sandwich

This is the first time I have been here; I must say although the environment looks slow, the food has a heck of a taste. The food was great: the goat meat was perfectly cooked, and the rice and salads were tasty. It didnt take time for me to finish the food. 👏👏👏 Thank you for the mouth-watering experience.

Great place. Great price. I had Sumbusa, Philly Cheesesteak (comes with fries), tea, and the mango drink all for about $10. Abdel-Nasser, the owner was kind and welcoming despite it being busy. The philly steak had a unique seasoning that made it really stand out. The fries were like thicker Arby’s fries. I’ve tried the chicken tenders, and they were hot and crispy. The tea with milk tastes amazing, like the milk at the bottom of a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch. I also tried my friend’s chicken curry plate. Amazing. It wasn’t a liquid curry like I expected, but rather a curry-spice on grilled chicken. Came with rice, salad, and I think beans.

Food was terrible charged way to much for dry rice and chicken that wasn’t marinated also very unsanitary place look very ghetto as well I highly don’t recommend this place to eat Somali food

This gem within our beautiful city is top notch. The food and atmosphere is amazing. The food is so delicious and freshly made to order. Everything is perfect from the food to the atmosphere to the staff. It shows that the details are not overlooked. What a wonderful little spot to relax and enjoy great food and handcrafted cocktails or a lovely wine list as well.

Food is amazing! Service was fast! Only thing that I didnt like was, we ordered a salmon dinner, and paid salmon prices but got back to the office and they sold her talapia instead!

Jubaland serves really wholesome cooking, that makes me feel like I just got served by someones mother. There isnt much seating and the building is a little run down, but dont let that turn you away from just how delicious this places food is. Id eat here everyday if I could.

This is my absolute most favorite spot!!! I always have to get 2 teas each time. I crave it! I highly recommend!! I cant get enough of their chicken curry rice!!And its not about customer service there. He treats you like part of the tribe! This is absolutely my most recommended place in KCMO/KS. We tell everyone about them! Ive not had 1 disappointment yet!

The food was delicious and the owners were incredibly nice and hospitable. I wish we werent from out of town so that we could keep going back. The sambusa was very good. I had goat and rice and my husband had curry chicken and rice. I recommend both. The meat was seasoned very well and the rice was flavorful. Great experience!

I lived in KansasCity for almost one year and I use to visit this great Islamic restaurant every month and have their realy delicious food now I am home in KSA and I will never forget this place in hole my life I wish to visit again.Aziz

Highly recommend their Philly cheese steak! Spices on it are perfect, and I love their fries. Delicious every time. I will definitely miss it when I leave Kansas City :( they used to take credit card before, but now they charge extra for it, which is annoying ...but gotta satisfy my cravings!

Authentic African food! You can try a goat dish here. They have a variety of other food options. Meats are seasoned well - very good food!

This is one of the best Somali restaurant in the United States. The food and service is great. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for East African/Somali food to check this place out.

The only good Somali food in KC. Owner is a total gem. Wonderful people. Large portions. Not expensive. Sometimes loud if Soccer is on the TV, but thats part of what great about it. Best Breakfast is chicken curry w Angelo bread. Lunch is chicken spaghetti.

good food, unfriendly atmosphere.the food is very goood and worth its value. cook to order. hot and accurate. never seen a female soul there EVER. seems like only men are in and out. sometimes it feels like they are talking about me, like im an outsider. the phone doesnt work so i cant call in my order, otherwise being in there for 2 minutes to pay and pick up wouldnt bother me. i only ever get the wings and tenders and fries. the food is worth it.

This place attempts to HACK your personal accounts. I just got a security notification that their IP address attempted to hack my Wordpress site (after closing hours). I have read other reviews with the same issues. DO NOT TRUST.Also - in my research of this establishment, they had 8 critical health inspection violations during a March 15 2016 routine inspection as published by The Kansas City Star.
