Joy Pub in Timisoara / Temesvar

This one really looks like any english pub 😁Its a good place to eat good and meet friends over a beer, pool, darts. Its a good meeting point for boys to enjoy any kind of match: football game, box, tennis, name it.Really good food, great selection of beers. Recommend the house tea and house lemonade. The coffee is also well made.The girls are so nice and offer the greatest service.Prices are average. I would say that anyone can afford to visit this place anytime.

The pub is really nice and the food is good but the service is horible, I arrived at the opening hour and we kept waiting to be served, also waitters and the rest of staf were rude.The pub really has potential but I will not come again honestly because it is just not worth it, it ruins the ambience.

Tasty food, very good choices for drinks, perfect location, you can watch your favourite sports on multiple tv screens, good billiard tables.

The waiters are kind, the food is great, the atmosphere is nice, I would recommend it!

Amazing burgers!! The Joy Burger is the best burger in town and probably the best I ever ate. Also the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for watching sports and drinking good beer :(they have Guinness)Edit 2022: forget what I said about the burger. They changed the chef and now it’s not the same :unfortunately I won’t eat it again.Downgrade from 5 to 3 stars.

The waitress was such a cool woman, i literally love her, she made us laugh and have such a good time and she had patience with all of us when it came to ordering. The food was great, such big portions, but so delicious.

Really, really good burgers and fries (& their food in general). You get a lot for the money and everything is made by them. The to-go packaging is also really cool. Couldn’t recommend this pub enough.What I can recommended though, is that the waitresses should be just a bit friendlier, they can give you the high hat at times for nothing.

The service was really poor because the waitress was in a bad mood and ruined the atmosphere. She was screaming the whole time and she was rude to the customers. The place is nice and the food was good but I will never visit this place again because of this evenings events.

It is a nice place to go out with the friends, you can play darts or foosball. They have outdoor area with curtains for smokers. The food is good. The prices are fair.

Excellent food, tasty and fresh. Really nice pub.

So good daily menus (check them on their facebook page, every Monday they update it for Mon-Fri). Every day they have their diversity in dishes, but so far, every time I ate there the food was near to perfect. Besides that, you must try their JOY Cheeseburger, it was excellent.

Ok cheeseburger, good sauces. The steak sandwich I do not recommend. The fries are homemade but really greasy. It was really cold because the door was always open.

Very slow service, fries were very oily, steak sandwich was below expectations. The cheeseburger was ok, the sauces were good, clean bathrooms, nice ambience, good music, but a bit cold.

In these days, when we have to take care of eachother JOY takes care of us - delicious food, good service, all clean and in the safe distance as the rules ipose.6 ☆ from my part.The food today was divine!

After ordering online,they accepted the order and after 1 hour they sent me a message that they cant take my order,just later to find out that my order was done but there was nobody to deliver it,after that they told me they will sort it out,and 20 minutrs later they did nothing and did not bother to give me a call back to let me know.Real proffesionals.

French fries, not frozen, but tasty. They say its fresh. I really dont know, but they do taste damn good!

The beef burger is to die for, definitely a must! It was huge and the hot sauce is sooo delicious! Also the selection of beers is for everyones taste! I highly recommend it!

Great place to have a drink and watch sports, prices are reasonable but the only downside is that it takes too long to be served, you have to go at the bar and order because everytime I waited for 15-20 min until someone came to take our order

I do not know why people rate it so good? It is one of the worst burger I ever ate with chewy bread, smooshy fries and hard meat without any taste, not even salted!? Even a plescavica is better and over 3 times cheaper.For sure not as good as rated, one can try but my sugestion is: do not apend your money on expensive tasteless burger.

Very bad service. The food was ok, expensive but good taste.I was disappointed by the service. We were just 3 people and the mistake our order and one of us had to wait 40 more minutes just for a burger.

Excellent food like pizza, burgers and more. On beers you can taste real Irish beer, and few more, large hard liqueur menu. You can enjoy also pool tables, darts, and lots of live sports all around the world. Employees are very friendly, service is decent to fast, depends if is full house or not, and prices are more than decent. Overall this is excellent place to spend your evening with friends or not !

Great place for drinking a beer while watching a football game. The food is amazing too. Strongly recommend it if you are new in town.

Great sports bar. More than 10 tvs with plenty of different sports going on if you need it. Also a big variety of food (burgers, pizzas, pub and romanian dishesand drinks. Pool and also outdoor terrace. Really enjoyed it.

Great experience in Timișoara. Awesome sports bar, great music, excellent food, fresh beer, friendly staff. A lot of tv screens to enjoy various sports. They also have pool tables and darts. I recommend it.

A good place for sports watching. Truly a sports bar it is comparable to reputable such establ8shments I have seen abroad. They have a wide selection of drinks, food is beyond expectations and you can even watch the nfl if you aske the bartender nicely.

Joy Pub or rather Joy Sports Bar is an ideal place for spending time with your friends or colleagues. Many TVs where you can watch any type of sport you like, tennis, handball and especially important football matches which you can also watch them projected on large boards. I consider it to be a perfect place to watch games with your friends. You can even choose which channel to watch, not necessarily sports. The little downside to it, is its foods relatively high prices, however, I see the effort exerted to preparing them, thus making its costs understandable. Then again, its a bar, so you wouldnt be expected to come here to eat in the first place. The main advantage, which particularly made me come here, is the fact that you can play pool here (billiards), there are four tables, including convenient cues, chalk, extensions, so basically everything you need to enjoy a nice game of pool (and the balls of course). The staff is very hardworking and friendly ( especially Andora :). Its location, "Complexul Studentesc", is suitable to everyone, mainly for students due to the nearby halls of residence . Reservations are available here as well. In my point of view, its my favorite bar! Very nice rock music and you can play pool here while indulging in some beer!P.S. : I decided to extend my review, which was 2 sentences long, because I found out that its not irrelevant as I though it was at first. I thank the owner for answering and the services offered until now, and I will gladly be going to Joy as I have been doing until now.

Cozy sports bar. The food is a bit expensive, but tasty! I was disappointed that they dont serve coffee or lemonade during the soccer games because they "dont make complicated things during the game"

This is a proper sports pub. They have rather good snacks and pizzas, rounded off by some nice beers on tap, but most importantly, loads of TVs to watch the big game. Theyve also got pool tables if youre into that.We had some good pizzas here, as well as the German sausages. We also tried the mozzarella plate. Nothing too fancy, nor is the menu very diverse, but everything we had was of pretty good quality. Expect the place to be crowded on weekends as it becomes better known. (Mar 2018: fine on weekdays, bit crowded on weekends.)The classic rock music fits really well. All in all, this is a welcome detour from the beaten path of the city center if youre in the mood to have a few pints and watch the match.

Sports pub the way it should be! Great music, great food and a very nice selection of drinks. There are TVs all over the place so that you can watch your favourite event. You can have a good time playing pool or darts too.
