Jouvay Night Club in Ramsey

I mean I had fun with the crowd I was with for Halloween- however the Halloween event ticket said 2 for one drinks and the club did not honor that all. One drink was 16$ in a little cup and the shots in a little shot glass was $16 dollars. I couldn’t use my debit card to pay unless it was $25 and up for the tab. So boom- false advertisement right there. Number 2, hookah was nasty- when I asked the hookah girl to change the hookah because I didn’t taste the flavor I purchased, she said no unless I’m paying for a refill. I paid for refills so my friends can enjoy the hookah and vibe. I also had to show proof that I paid for the hookah via cash app, not like they didn’t see me press the send payment button. The security guard snatched my phone to verify my identity on my ticket. Like what the hell? But the DJ was good and I danced.

Went there last night for the first time.Paid $20 and it was soo empty inside.It is a nice venue, very spacious, nice bartenders. But It seems they are just trying to make money without worrying at all about good customer service.

I went there to hold my birthday event it was so Litt the security is bad but everything else was great can’t wait to come back and turn up . Great Dj

I didn’t want to believe the reviews here since they are a but old and I thought maybe it would have changed, but it sure didn’t. Went to this Club on 06/11/22 and it was dead for sure. Not a lot of people and the security was a bit weird about hiding the amount of people who are inside. The drinks were insanely overpriced, $17 a drink for a little gin and coke, the size of a half cup of coffee. I pay that price in Manhattan, wouldn’t expect it in a small club in Queens. We ended up leaving, the music was a bit off too. Wouldn’t recommend unless you are into the quieter clubs and overpriced drinks.

The owner smokes a cigarette in everyones face on the line to get in. The security steals all the merchandise & drinks on the job. The FOOD is saved overnight. The Bartender Overcharges if you aren’t fair skinned. They steal change at the bar. Coat check stole a womans coat. These people are savages.

Great atmosphere, spacious, affordable, excellent service, wonderful ambiance and overall a wonderful experience awaits you here! Judge-free zone!

Fantastic service.

We went to a social distancing baby shower at Jouvay. I really didnt know what to expect but it turned out marvelous. There was security at the door doing their due diligence with temperature checks. The place was large enough to hold multiple tables which we did not need, but were able to space out the tables appropriately. Drinks were served at the table, no standing at the bar. We also had a dinner menu and food that was served to us tableside. The bathrooms were clean. Wheelchair accessible. The DJ booth to hook up the music was awesome. The parking was not optimal for someone not living in Queens, who could uber. It is on a busy street and the industrial area is behind it. All in all great spot.

Good selection of Trini and Guyanese girls that come here.

Waste of time and money

The team and I went there last night to celebrate my birthday and we had an amazing time. We go to quite a few clubs and this is one of our favorites in Queens. It’s clean and spacious with an amazing dance floor. Last night DJ Young Chow had the crowd going the whole night with Soca, Dancehall, HipHop and everything in between. The hookah was great and the food was amazing... We’ll certainly be back soon!!

Great place to celebrate your birthday. Definitely great that they let ladies in for free with RSVP on Saturdays! My friends and I come here all the time and the staff is always extremely friendly. They have great bottle packages, the vibes are always on point and the music is really good. I love how attentive the bottle girls were for our VIP and the coat check staff brought our jackets to us at the end of the night. I definitely recommend getting there early because there was a line outside but it moved quickly. The bartenders are so friendly (I get that’s their job, but not everywhere gives great service). I’ll definitely be back soon to celebrate my best friend’s birthday.

Very pricy, dead place. The dance floor is completely empty. Not upfront about their cover charge ($20 for ladies, $30 for guys). It was not advertised anywhere, and it is impossible to get in touch with anyone to reserve a table/booth/seats ahead of time. l have listed some costs below:Standing table with 1 bottle: $190Hookah: $40 to $46Beer: $6

This spot was DEAD!!! Before I even went in security started acting up. They keep the doors closed, so you cant see whats going on inside. Once someone went in and they open the door it was empty. Go figure! No clienteleand bad attitude. Thats not a good mix. Stage left exit right!Went up the block to ELEVATE SKY Lounge and it was jumping. Much better crowd and less BS

There was a fight. My daughter was asked to leave and left her purse in the section they reserved. Tries calling but got sent straight to voicemail. My daughter stuff better be there

This place is horrible, the service suck, not enough staff and for a full crowd only 2 security guard. My friend was attacked by a man just because she refused to dance and nobody body else even help out. From the time we get in it was bad we had a table service table was not even ready other people that didnt even pay for table service was using the table and refused to give out the table it took a good 20 minutes to get a security guard to fix the issues. I didnt like it at all the only thing that I enjoy was that Dj staks was entertaining people other that bad place

Great acuity and hospitality...

Communication sucks! How people call call call to be fwd to voicemail when trying to book a party for Liv Saturdays. All those facebook and ig pages and no one promoter can answer you and when they do ask what you want to NOT respond again. F*** this we will go back to Mazi Night Club where bottle service, security service, bartender service is ALL processional and ran like they want our money. Wish there was a half a star!

Trash. Did my birthday here and the service was horrible. I booked this event over a week in advance and when i get there , not only did they make me and my guests pay entry fee, they claimed I never booked a section and a birthday list and my name wasnt on the list. I had to show the waitress the full length text message thread between the promoter and I. And mentioning the promoter, he stopped answering the phone and text messages when I got there. The waitress honored the birthday package, which shouldve included 4 bottles , a hookah and 6 shots of tequila. We got the bottles , but no hookah and no shots. Seriously disappointed with this establishment and the janky promoters that represents them. New York club scene is falling off.

For the younger crowd. Wide open space makes it more for dancing than talking. Beautiful bartenders very polite and tidy

I LOVE this Place!!! Because security is on point!!!. But, due to the lack of promos and Big ups from famous promoters... My lady wants to go else where. I still think this is one of the best west indian spots in Queens!!

If u show up after 1am on a Friday ur ass will have to wait in line, regardless if u have bottle service or not. They were even telling people to go back and put their coats in their car because coat check ran out of room. 😕 Parking is also dreadful, had to park 4 blocks away. Music wasnt all that great either, I do not recommend this spot on a Friday night.

Please dont waste your time going here!! This place not recommended. I only give it two stars cause I liked their staff.. But the crowd cant be changed no matter how many times they change their business name.. And change hands. Its just not the right crowd. Some of them are extremely rid and dont care about themselfs forget about caring about you. Security was rude and so was the checking in pay booth. Outside was crazy too.. Smokers all over and fights across the street. I wont return at all.

Damn coolie kids just wont stop fighting. Got their parents struggling to pay rent but they wearin a burberry shirt.

They are cool but song we like to indian music.

Nice spot for a club. West Indian music is on point. Your best bet is getting there early for bottle specials because individual mixed drinks are very small with inexperienced bar tenders.
