All-day option at the Sheraton offering salads, steaks, seafood & wine in a traditional atmosphere.
We were there early August 2022, and I was nervous by the reviews but we gave it a shot and we loved every bite. The servers were very friendly and the food was amazing. We ate dinner. Everyone was happy with what they ordered, so go give it a try it was amazing! Don’t be scared off by the other reviews.
I dined twice at Jospeh’s during a recent trip to Greensboro. Once each for breakfast and dinner. And I can say that this place is a typical hotel restaurant. Which is to say that the food is fine but unremarkable. It’s fine in a pinch when you don’t want to travel for a meal, but isn’t something that would attract people on its own. For example, bread service with our drinks or soup and salad courses would have been nice. Also, some of the portions ran small and the dishes would have benefited from better seasoning, or the flavor and texture of another side. They also had some trouble with their cocktail service which resulted in a Manhattan served with ice in a martini glass, and an Old Fashioned that was half empty with weirdly muddled fruit garnish all over. That said, the service was friendly and attentive, and they did their best to make things right. We enjoyed our meals and would eat here again, but as I said, just for convenience.
Delicious food. Unique vegan meatballs that were absolutely delicious. Perhaps better than meat (if possible). Best fried chicken I’ve had in N.C.
Ordered Burger and Fries it was deliciousOrdered Buffet breakfast because they didn’t have a breakfast menu only buffet. It was not good at all. No more breakfast for me there. Staff was friendly
Chef Kelvin is putting Josephs on the map! I had the short rib steak and cheese sandwich today with the shrimp toast appetizer. The combination of flavors was the best Ive ever had! Great service and the chef came out several times to make sure we were satisfied. You have got to try this new menu at Josephs, located inside of Sheraton Greensboro Hotel/ Koury Convention Center.
I do not recommend coming here. I was here for a conference at the convention center, and wanted to stop in for breakfast. We were sat immediately (it wasn’t busy at allhowever, almost 20 minutes after we sat down, I had to stop a waitress walking by to take our order. 30 minutes later we still had not received our order. After we stopped another waitress she told us she would check on our orders, then returned without our food and told us they were “working on it”. When we informed them that we needed to leave, she offered us muffins and fruit for the inconvenience. Needless to say we were late for the conference, and won’t be returning for the remainder of our visit.
Great food excellent customer service
They charge you $20 per person for a bad food buffet. The silverware was dirty. The 1st plate I picked up was dirty. My wifes wine glass was dirty. I dont like to be negative, but some of the worst food Ive had from a restaurant...
Went Friday night, the only option was the buffet. But the food was not fit for a 4.5 star rated hotel.
Why do you go to a restaurant will vary your opinion. I had a bacon cheese burger that was worth every penny. I cant even share a photo because I destroyed it. The past two days I avoided this place due to its low rating and after that burger Im mad I didnt form my own opinion. My friend loved their salmon and I loved me burger. However Alfonzo was mad at the cheesecake because it didnt have straw berry sauce. Lol
The food was delicious and the service was great! Good prices for such high quality food and the staff was very friendly!
Went for an early breakfast. Although not the servers fault, toast was only toasted on one side and hash browns were lukewarm and undercooked.
We were at a convention this weekend and went to Josephs Restaurant to "save time" and be at the next sessions on time. The restaurant was not crowded, maybe a 1/4 of the restaurant had seated customers. It took us 30 minutes to get hambrugers and french fries. The burgers were actually good but I had 1/2 my burger and fries left so I got a box to go. I pu the burger in the box and picked up the other fries and there was a medium length balck hair (my hair is blondeunder my fries. I about vomited on the table. I QUIETLY asked the waitress to get the manager and she nevwer came to the table. I aksed another waitress (for lack of knowing her title I call her a waitressand she was getting the manager also. Eventually we had to leave for the session. On the way out of the door, I tried agin to see someone in charge. Again a different waitress said she didnt know what I was talking about but then the manager came around the corner. They explained I was the customer with a hair in her plate. She knew who I was , although never showed at the table and said well we already ran your ticket and I cant open it. Well see if we can get anything off your card in the next few days. Ill NEVER eat there again and neither will the others I told. We have had our mid-year convention there for over 10 years. Never again. Anddd my room was $23.00 higher than quoted with taxes. No explaination nor receipt as of today, Monday 8:18 2-17-20.
Really good food, have eaten here several times. Sometimes the service is a little slow, but its a nice, quiet restaurant.
This is a nice restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed my honey pecan chicken and potatoes. My dish was delicious. My only complaint would be that the servers had the worst time getting everyone their check and many of us had to wait over an hour to get our bill to pay it. I have to say Ive never dined anywhere that had an issue with collecting what was owed to them.
My Dads Burger Wasnt Cooked! My Dads Chicken Tasted Like Rubber! The Staff Was Nice But For The Price I Would Rather Starve!
30 m wait to sit in empty restraunt should have been a clue....dinner was then 55min until we complained then magically arrived lukewatm
Great tacos, I was almost scared by the reviews....
The food was good but we sat for almost 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. Service was slow, maybe they were short staffed. Took a long time even to get our bill. We got there around 8, maybe being later was part of the issue.
We attended a conference in the hotel where this restaurant is. The food was amazing and the staff is very responsive. Be sure to try their burgers. Amazing. Also the soup is homemade by the chef and very tasty. Worth your visit.
Food is pretty good and not too pricey.
Not good service, unfortunately. The hotel is great but this restaurant is not up to par. I came for lunch and the menu is limited with one sandwich option, pizza, and a bunch of salads. The club sandwich was dry with no condiments. You will find tastier options at the food court in the mall across the street.
If you go for breakfast, order your eggs fried so you can get real eggs. I ordered scrambled eggs with a biscuit and grits... The "scrambled eggs" were really liquid/powdered eggs. Biscuit was barely warm. When I left after paying $10, I was still hungry.
Food was not good at all
$18 for 1 egg with toast and bacon. Long periods without service. Food was not tasty.
The food is great, good customer service but the atmosphere is too quiet
Very good! Ordered a burger and fries for room service. It arrived hot with assorted (minijarred condiments. There were hearty slices of tomato and red onion and fresh, crisp, green lettuce. I only gave it 4 stars as the burger was just a tad dry, but overall, a really good meal.
Spending a weekend Conference at the Sheraton, I gave Joseph’s Restaurant a try for breakfast. Highly disappointed. For the price I paid, I could have BETTER and MORE food at a Waffle House. The ‘scrambled’ eggs were chunked egg beaters that were not fully cooked. The 2 sausage links were extremely tough. And the two pancakes could have been classified as a crepe on how thin they were. I could have gotten more food CHEAPER than this elsewhere. A hot breakfast I had at a Comfort Inn was better than this and it was included with my room.
I had a pizza with my buddy Wednesday night and I have to say it tasted like cardboard. It was a little spicy when pizza is not suppose to be that way. Not did we have any toppings that were spicy . The crust had to taste and the edges were burnt our waitress was so so friendly. She didn’t check on us but once . We had to ask for something to much on while waiting for our food and was told we were in between serving from lunch to dinner so there was none for us to choose between. Brought bread which was chewy not crisp. I don’t intend on eatting in there again next year.
Service was horrific. You would think a conference center would be better.
I dont understand some of the reviews posted. The food and service here is fantastic! I tried the tilapia (or halibut?while here and it was delicious. I also enjoyed the warm fresh bread served as an appetizer.
Ask for eggs over medium and they came back overcooked. Then, he forgot at least three items ordered and it was seven of us. When it came time to pay, three people paid for themselves and one other person and one only paid for herself. One person paid with her card but still had cash in her folder for the tip, the other three paid solely with cash. The server took all of the folders, except for the one with the card, at the same time. When he bought the folders back, two tickets were in the same folder that were not originally in the same folder and he said that one had not been paid. When we all attempted to explain that there was a mistake on his end, although we went ahead and paid for the ticket again, he went as far as to argue with us that we were wrong not him. He continued to argue with even after we repaid the ticket. He never told us his name, never smiled and only checked on us once the entire time.
Where do I begin. Came to restaurant at 9:00 pm after the New Balance National Track & Field meet on a Saturday evening. Hostess said 30 minutes. We waited, and waited, and waited. After 1 hour we decided to order take out from here as they put a closed sign on the door because they only had 2 waitresses. Five waitresses called out (they need to be fired). Ordered take out, another 30 minutes. Get up to room, no utensils.Breakfast the same. All these tables open, not enough help.
Service was great. Grease. Grease. And, more grease. Tried breakfast and lunch. Coffee was weak. Egg white omelet was greasy. Lunch was stale and fish tacos were greasy and covered in mayo.
Steak was great and service! They need to have more options on their menu.
The lady on the phone was rude, they got a simple order wrong, the food was nasty, eggs werent cooked well, food was bland... my favorite part of the meal was the apple juice. Service is completely sad
Food was delicious and service was amazing. 10/10. Would eat here again.
Pizza was a little greasy but everything else was great. Attentive and polite service. Good food for the price. Definitely recommend trying it out if you stay here.
Their lentil soup is the best Ive ever had, their pizza is greasy and delicious. Service is attentive, and they have a friendly, semiformal atmosphere.
"Food was great, service was decent, and good portion sizes for the price.""Fantastic selection of beer, juicy and buttery burgers with great toppings."
Was with sav. Absolutely terrible.
The staff was incompetent and unable to realize who was serving our table, My group sat unattended for 30 minutes not even getting water. We made eye contact and signaled many time for are waiters to serve us , but they wanted to figure out who served are table. After getting up and going to the kitchen and waiting for a waiter , telling them the situation they then took action. Also, at the beginning they took are menus before we had even picked beacuse they were running low to serve another table . The table we sat at was dirty , and had a huge stack of plates . Out of my group, 4/4 would NOT recommend .
got a ribeye steak tasted like it was frozen weird gravy out of a jar on it .
