Took a dorm. It was clean. Complementary breakfast was very nice. People were helpful to guide. Location is great. Will visit again, InShaAllah.Remember It was 10 JD per night, keep your expectations accordingly

I stayed at the Jordan tower hotel for 6 nights in May and was extremely impressed with the hospitality, cleanliness, and security of the hotel. The front desk employees were all so kind and helpful in providing recommendations and drivers to our day trips to Jerash, Wadi Al-Mujib, and Madaba. The breakfast was okay and the service was great! I stayed in a double room with a private bathroom with my friend and it was very nice for the price.The location is right downtown next to the Roman theater so you can walk around the area, but there is quite a bit of traffic in the area. We took Ubers around Amman but there’s a good amount to see by foot!

The hostel and the staff were great! Hostel’s facilities are quite basic, but you get all you need plus there was a hearty breakfast! And the location was fantastic, in pure center! We even book the tour with them for the great price and had the best time with legendary driver Omar (do yourself a favor and try to request him!). Really nice experience!:)

The people who run the hotel are very nice also the hotel is located in downtown and if you want to walk you can easily reach many places! I highly reccomend it

PROs: Good breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms and good location for sightseeing.CONs: The bath were not very clean and in winter can be a bit cold.Good stay overall.

The hotel is in the middle of the center making it perfect for trips from the hotel. They offer parking for only 2 dinar per day, which is a bargain compared to the competitors. The staff is very friendly and always welcome you with a smile. The rooftop area is great with nice views. The breakfast is tasty and also there, very friendly staff.

REVIEW FOR TOUR, NOT HOTEL.We took a 5 day tour around Jordan with the hotel. All the drivers were good, spoke English and drove well. The cars were new and comfortable. The tour overall was cheap and well balanced. We kept in contact with the hotel and all the planning and coordinating was done by them. Surely sending a few more tourists this way.

We are more than thankful for the staff, who was giving treating us mire than a client. Always there, always helpful and with a smile on the face.The hotel is a very good budget hotel, right in the center, from where everything can be reached by the feet.Big thanks you for all of you! The location is perfect! Also the service is outstanding. We got really good recommendations on how to spend the day in Amman. The room was very big and tidy. Unfortunately the bathrooms were really small and quite smelly. I dont know why this is the case, but we have experienced that smell in all our hotels in Jordan.

Good location but this place is quite old and requires maintenance. Rooms are quite small but for me this wasnt a problem. Breakfast was very poor comparing to other places around Jordan.

A good choice for a short stay in Amman on a budget+ Staff here were all friendly and helpful+ Very convenient location, walking distance to several landmarks (I walked to Roman Theatre, Amman Citadel, Jordan Museum, Rainbow Street, Nymphaeumand the many markets and stores of downtown Amman+ Breakfast was better than expected, a good variety of good food+ Low cost, even for a private room with a great view of the city- No wifi in rooms, only downstairs- It is a bit run down. The outlet was falling out of the wall, the air conditioner made wierd sounds and shut down sometimes, some stains and chips in the paint- The bathroom/shower sucked big time. Shared one out in the hall, no cold water, toilet has trouble flushing, no separate area for shower just a showerhead in a regular bathroom- Incredible amounts of traffic and non stop honking until past 3am (not to mention the calls to prayer and people yelling)

Not bad for price. Food was good. Beds were comfy. Shower water did cut out whilst having a shower and also make sure you take ear plugs as the mosques start up very early like 4am and you can hear very loudly in the room but apart from that nlt bad at all

Downtown location, the hotel is in the middle of Ammans main sightseeings, walking distance for the most, although there is no hot water or wifi in rooms.There is a lot of noise from outside so it is very difficult to sleep well. So if you want something economy and conveniently located and you can handle the noise and all the above it is a good choice.

The is a lot of noise from the outside during the day, so dont expect to sleep long hours. The rooms seem rather clean, and so do the bathrooms. There are enough plugs in the dorms for all guests to charge their phones.You can hang out in the lounge to meet other travelers. It is not a cozy place, but it is the best option there. They also got a fake UNO game.

Economic place to stay for one or few nights for reasonable price in the center of the city. Free wifi in reception, normal breakfast, horrible mini shower with wc in the same place. In January was cold in the ho(s)tel, in the room heater didnt heated like normal.

Location wise this hotel is pretty good. However, the rooms are tiny to say the least. Also, service isnt that great either. We took a double bed room but there is barely any space for the two of us. The bedspread didnt seem very clean either.

Let me start off by saying arrival was amazing a different experience. An amazing experience. We arrived at the hotel not expecting much but may I say the toliet were awful as they were at the end of hall not private but thats not the part it was that the floor was always wet as the shower was right next to the toliet and was leaking and was up to 4cm in water with toliet paper lying on the floor. And the beds were flawed in hair. The hounas had flies in it and pitta was literally rock hard.Although I see how travellers can stay here with ease at least you got bed in the end

November 18: Perfect for budget travellers. The location is perfect, 2 mins walk to the Roman Theatre and from the rooftop you can see the citadel. The hostel offers several daytrips and the breakfast included is really good value. If you sleep in the dorm bring some earpluggs otherwise the morning prayer (4:30will wake you.

The hotel is located central at just a 3 minute walk to the Roman theatre. The personnel is friendly and helpful. The rooms are unfortunately very noisy, you can hear all traffic passing by. Make sure to bring earplugs!!! The towel provided was dirty. The rooms itself were clean.

The staff is really nice, hotel is in the center. We were surprised because there were no showers, just a shower head in the bathroom. Besides that, everything was pleasing. Breakfast is really nice. You get exactly what you pay for.

A popular hostel in Amman, well known among budget travelers, nice and very clean. Breakfast was extremely good in comparison to other budget options in towns!Jihad and Omar who both works in the hotel were super friendly and helpful regarding any information.

Rooms are clean if a little basic, for the price they are great value. Free breakfast is good, staff friendly and helpful. Breafast/common area is clean and pleasant. We booked tours through reception that we thought were good value. Very close to restaurants and amphitheatre is on your doorstep. Rooms have zircon. Very pleased, I would stay again. Is between 2 busy streets though and car noise maybe an issue for some. It wasnt for me.

The hostel was very central, in downtown, very close to the food market (which I recommend exploring). The rooms were basic but did their job. It was extremely clean!! There’s only one shared bathroom and shower (togetherfor the whole floor (about 5 shared rooms), but somehow was always available.The owner is very kind and helpful, he’s there the 24h.Breakfast is amazing, so big and filling, for free! Just wow!

Really happy with this place. Stayed here 6 nights in the 12 person dorm. Used it as a base to see the northern half of Jordan. Worked really well. Their pricing and services were good, and the staff was generally on point all the time. I would recommend it.

Hostel at nice location. Friendly owner, fast and reliable contact.The hotel is old, but it works. Dont expect too much luxury. Beds were ok, sheets were in my opinion not clean but were immediately changed after complaining.AC was was not working, batteries of the remote had to be changed.Bathrooms were small but clean.Breakfast is good. Owner is working hard and provides a safe environment. I changed plans and left 2 days earlier, he told me to come back in the end to use my 2 days.I made 2 tours, arranged by the hotel. Tours were good, drivers of course try to get you to expensive (and goodrestaurants. However after asking for cheaper options, this was no problem.

Pay for what you get really, staff were great. AC was turned off even though it was advertised, toilet shower combos meant that the bathroom was always flooded and some nice mould on the wall, TV didnt work and Wifi barely worked on the lobby floor and didnt work at all on our room floor.

Such a great place to meet other travelers. Lots of organised trips, wonderfully helpful staff who helped me so much when I broke my tooth there. By the way, Jordan should GE more credit as a dentistry destination, seriously good. Anyway, breakfast with plenty to eat humus, cucumber, Tomatoes, a weird sausage and some bean and eggs (if you dont expect scrambled eggs to be scrambled eggs - seems to be just mixed and cooked eggs in he region). Dormitories are just what you need and the man in he cafe downstairs is one of the best human being I have ever met.

45 USD/night/ 2 persons? Jordan is way to expensive for this low standard. Or this old-town of Ammann at least.Sightseeing to old-town is nice, staying in it is a mistake I made. Being next to markets and main road, you will have your sleep disturbed as drivers still happily honking their cars past 10pm. Some shoppers also hanging around and chat. As it is an older building, dont expect double glazed window. So bring your noise-blocker ear-plugs.The price you see online does NOT reflect the 40% charges on top of it. These charges are 10% hotel service fee + 26% city tax + 3% credit card fee. When you added everything its end up almost double the price advertised. So be aware.The beds are pretty good spring mattress. The staff also try to please us, as they see our dissapointment, with upgrade to room with bathroom inside. But again, it is the standard that was poor. It was a makeshift bathroom. Bathroom that just force built into a bedroom. The toilet fixing to the floor is loose, felt it almost toppled over when raising up from the toilet seat.Back to the beds, the bedlinens were too small and not even tucked in properly. Mine almost all taken off from the bed, as I am a restless sleeper. The room only lit-up by one light bulb. On top of that the room is covered with the dark colours bedlinen, bedcovers, towels, and curtains; making it pretty depressing room. This one light bulb, placed strategically infront of your face... so if you dont want your sleep to be disturbed, bring your blind out too.Furniture... errr, almost none. Basic tea/coffee kettle making... huff, forget it.So for USD45 / night for all the inconveniences... is it worthed??? You judge it yourselves.

Its everything you want in a hostel. A little dated but very clean. Jihad the manager was awsome. Speaks very good English and I swear the man never takes a break. He will set up any tours needed and the prices are bout the best you can find.The building is in the heart of downtown. It is a constant buzz of activity and actually the reason for 4 stars. I guess I am just not used to how Jordanians rely on their car horns.If you go in the summer take a 2 min walk down to the Roman Amphitheater at night and mingle with the locals.

I love this place. Great price& location, small but clean rooms, but the best part is the people who work here are so sweet, kind, and wonderful! J. at the front desk, is the most helpful guy! Quick to offer his phone to help you, and never complains when you come in late and he has to come down the stairs and open the door.Additionally, he helps arrange plenty of group tours they have available, chance to meet new friends and less expensive then other options.O. The ever ready smiling assistant, he will shift your luggage with a smile no matter how many times you change rooms and refuse your tip! A magician with the historical building and its tempermental air conditioning and faucets, he never minds coming and sorting out any problem that arises. Breakfast is divine and keeps you set till afternoon when you wander off whichever Roman( or beforeruin into a local cafe. The lobby is airy, friendly, and open and you always feel welcomed and comfortable.

Stayed in a private double, which turned out to be a triple room, all single beds. Fantastic location, clean, good a/c, great breakfast, lovely communal area. Bathroom was a little too small and poor drainage from the shower. Organised tours are a good option, possibly a little overpriced (I say this as an airport pick up organised by the hotel is 30 JD versus 20 JD for a taxi at the airport). Still recommended as the room rate is excellent

Advertised on Hostelworld as a "hostel" but actually a hotel with some hostel style dorm rooms. Nice little hotel though and a good price for Jordan. Free breakfast is awesome and they do group tours, which may not be the best value but are really good.

Place is old but situated in the heart of city. Anything is very close from here. Tourist attractions, restaurants, cafe, daily need shops.People are helpful. You get breakfast completely.

Great budget lodgings. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Tahani at the front desk was super friendly and gave us all kinds of local information. Shower was a bit wierd, but we managed.

I really had a great experience in this hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are always clean, food is delicious and the most important thing is that all the workers in the hotel are very nice and friendly. Shops, centers, restaurants, internet cafes, sightseeing, DHL, banks, are very close. You will really enjoy your staying in this nice and small hotel.

A hotel in the center of Amman, it has a policy of not letting couples share a room if they dont have their marriage certificate with them. We had to pay for two different rooms despite showing them our wedding pictures. Location is good but its a low end hotel!

Perfect for backpacking. A bit loud but still fine. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good tour organization and getting a driver. They had no beer but its sold near there. Bathroom very small but ok. Really good place!

I really enjoyed my stay here....I stayed here for 4 nights last week. its in the heart of the city, easy to travel anywhere. It is definitely a good value for money. its cheap but good facilities. the staff is really helpful and friendly! I would definitely recommend it this hotel and will surely stay here on my next visit.

Stayed here in May11 and Oct12 (twice). Great location, next to the old city next to the bazaar. Perfect in the heart of downtown. Lovely cold breakfast in the morning. Very helpful staff + free wifi. Its a very basic hotel, but the wonderful location and staff make up for it.

Fantastic friendly hotel in the centre of the Downtown. They serve the best breakfast around. Rooms are adequate with air conditioning and flat screen tv. Nice cafe downstairs in the piazza belonging to the hotel is great for relaxing after a day sight-seeing. Daily trips available to all historical sites. If you want to experience Jordan as it is on a day to day basis - then this is the place to stay. The communal areas are a great place to meet other guests and the roof terrace is really pleasant, especially at night with views of the Citadel all lit up...

Its certainly no Holiday Inn, but as far as cheap hotels go, its excellent. They have free wifi, free breakfast, an extremely friendly and helpful staff, and a nice atmosphere. It does a nice job of incorporating local culture with an international one as well.Current prices are JD11 (~$15.50for hostel/dormitory style, JD25 (~$35for a single room with private bathroom, and JD33 (~$46.50for a double with private bathroom.
