John Wright Park in Forster

Lovely Tuncurry markets is hold here on the fourth Saturday of the month. Great place to find gifts and bric a brac.Dolphins are known to love surfing not far from the bridge.The park is near the beautiful lake and the white long bridge. It is a pretty busy bridge which connects Forster to Tuncurry. However ample parking is nearby along the streets.A few cafes are nearby.

Great park to sit n chill. By yourself or with the kids and family.

Had the best time herr volunteering at the lakeside festival and its in a beautiful spot camping and caravan park 800 mtres away.Great hoiday place dolphins playing in that lake.

Top place to stop for a BBQ or visit the foreshore for lunch Coffee 50 metres to the North, plus Toilets are on your right hand side.Toilets to be upgraded this year.

Very nice well maintained town park

This very scenic, waterside park is a great spot for a picnic. There is shelter from sun and rain, good seating with tables suitable for large gatherings. Public toilets are on site, including one offering disabled access. Well maintained park with ample parking. This park provides space for events as diverse as fitness classes to visiting fairground.

Good spot.. nice views.. clean water. But Forster/Tuncurry is the perfect place.

Family to have picnic, hang out, during Xmas season their is fun fair for 6wks open every night

Its a lovely park, small but it offers a lot to both tourists and locals. For one, you can jog or do exercises whether during early morning or late arvo. Theres also a public toilet in case you needed one. Dont expect it to be that clean or new though. Also, theres a considerable-size stage where programs can be held like music festivals. Expect some tables too for planned or spur of the moment get-togerhers.Theres also fairs and rides held there that coincide with popular events at several dates yearly, the most anticipated of which, for me, is the New Years Eve fireworks!Lastly, it overlooks the Forster-Tuncurry bridge and the Great Lakes. Now, that doesnt anymore need an explanation..

They park was very nice however there was a canivall there which had minimal rides

Very clean and great place to take the kids for a walk and sit and have something to eat. Really showcases the stunning beauty of the Tuncurry inlet and bridge to Forster. And some nice boats in the little marina.

Good spot to take the family, carnival rides during the New Year period for the kids and adults to enjoy. Great fun for everyone. Markets held there on a Sunday check internet for details.

Very nice and clean place. Go for a stroll over the bridge! On any day you have a chance to see pelicans, rays, schools of fish and dolphins. Amazing!!

If lucky enough and have good eye sight, then u can find dolphins when u see the place from above the bridge close to the park

Hard to find a better veiw then the water ways of Forster and Tuncurry.bbq,s and toilets at the park. Plenty of different styles of activities here at the park during the year.

Beautiful park with a view that should be the eighth Wonder of the World. Well kept... nice green lawns. Bbq supplied and seating with shade under amazing large Fig trees.

Lovely spot to sit and take in the lake or enjoy a meal by the lake, bbq facilities.

Great for NYE Fireworks and any time of the year for a picnic. Has toilet facilties and right smack in the Greater Lakes district.

Kids love it. Relaxing place for mums and dads or grandparents to take the kids but not much shade on a busy day. Very beautiful spot

There is a good playground for kids on the west side of the bridge. They often have markets, events and car displays at John Wright Park.

Beautiful park, beautiful people and super chill vibes. Amazing (architecturally speakingshade area if its too sunny or beautiful, warm, sunny spots to sit in if thats what you like. BBQs available if youre hungry and hunky fishermen to spy on if you get bored of looking at the incredible bridge to Forster.

Beautifully landscaped park on the banks of Wallis Lake. There is a park for children as well as amenities open daily. Seafood and takeaway restaurants are in close proximity, and there are frequently markets and events being held here. A great place to relax, unwind, take the kids, fish or more!
