Great Irish pub feeling in the middle of the city!!!

I did not recomend this place. The bartender was rude and speak in a very bad mood.

Great service. Great crowd. It was loads of fun. And not super expensive

Good music and drinks! They have Midori, a melon flavored liqueur; one of my favorites! The jalapeño poppers were great! They’re not the frozen grocery store ones so I was very happy about that. They came out fresh and hot!

Had dinner at the bar. My only complaint is the barstools, very uncomfortable. The food was delicious and hot and the bartender was very nice. Also, they had a selection of $11-12 martinis which is pretty cheap for NYC! I recommend this place if your in Midtown as it is right next door to the Renaissance.

Looking for a great small Irish pub in the heart of the the herald square district - you found it….great bar food and bites, friendly staff and beer constantly flowing….great for locals and tourists alike.

The service was absolutely horrible. The wait staff seemed like it was a bother for us to even order. After waiting over 20 mins for a swcond round we figured wed get out bill and head out. Plenty of other places. First time and last time Ill visit.

Great place to sit at the bar and watch a game, or grab a drink after a convention or show. They have a good selection on tap. A lot of bigger brewery beers, but a few local ones as well.

The very Irish bartender was hard to understand so I asked for the most popular cocktail. It turns out it was a Mango fizz. It was good enough to have a 2nd.

Me and a coworker came for lunch, the place was nice pub and enjoy our food. The waitress was timely and food was too long of a wait. They wasnt rushing us to leave the table a plus. I had the codfish came 3 big pieces and it was meaty very tasty.

Pretty standard bar, not exactly up to pub standards but they got coffee and great service and good beer.

Not worth it. Went in for dinner and drinks. Didnt check vaccination status, and the waiter barely spoke the whole time. Ordered fish and chips and the "kfc" sandwich, decent portions but overall nothing special. Waiter barely interacted with us. Wont be returning.

WARNING: THEY OVERCHARGE!We went for a drink before a game at Madison square Garden. The bar is located right next door. What a surprise to see when we came back home (abroadthat the waitress debited 21$ in tip .... Not very honest ... Here is the original ticket. We were charged $38.80 instead of $21.They may have made a mistake but it was impossible to reach them and get an answer either by email (several mailboxesor on their different networks. Be careful if you are a foreigner, or if you dont have the possibility to come back on the spot, you could have big surprises!

Good beer options (Sullivans Red was excellentand nice staff. I had the shepherds pie which was very tasty. Great place to grab a beer and a bite to eat!

John Sullivans is always my first stop off the train and before returning to the train. Great people, outstanding beer seletion and of course some Jameson to start and finish your New York day.

They dont check vaccination status and were busy, good for them. Additionally, my favorite steak sandwich is no longer on the menu! The chicken with pasta I ordered was overcooked. Disappointing. Beer selection seemed to change too. Not inspired to go back any time soon.

Went in for a couple of beers last night after all-nighter at work.Prices charged were completely different from those listed on website or on-site, blonde male waiter displayed the height of uncalled for rude and abrasive behavior.Did not check either any vaccination proof whatsoever, nor ID (which may also be a plus point to some people, go right in).After our two beers he just up and decided to close the bar at 3 AM.This place is a joke, walk the extra mile and find something better.Blonde barman should either be fired or learn to run his business better.

Don’t bother using the online menu to choose whether you’d like to visit. The menu at the pub is a pared down “pre-COVID” version. Here’s an idea— update your website. When I do order from the menu, they are out of the only cocktail I’d like to order. Asked them for a drink with lime juice and they don’t have fresh squeezed limes, only lime juice from concentrate. Just struck out here tonight. If you just want a bottle of beer, you should be fine.

I ate a burger, fries, had only 3 craft beers...tipped the waiter according to my bill. Here we are 2 days later and I am automatically charged an extra $5 for a tip. My bill was only $46.00. I tipped her 10 percent of the bill which is $4.60.I was just notified this morning that an updated tip of $5.00 was added! Lesson learned. I will gladly enjoy the rest of my day and never visit your bar again due to the debit issue that had happened 2 days after I had visited there in the evening.

Awesome pub with wonderful service. Danny was friendly and quick even when the place was crowded. The food was better than many of the places we ate during our NYC trip.

I like this place. I I come here often and I particularly enjoy the bartenders, all the TVs to watch the games and the food. (I always order the Caesar salad with fried calamari on top. It is not on the menu, but they make it for me). This is not a dive bar, but I like it anyway LOL

I dont know who this John is but he sure knows how to run a pub!Theres one guy working here, doing wonderful job bartending and waitering tables all on his own (with a help with the cook/busboy).Thats not all, the food is also amazing! We came here twice, once for dinner and once for some munching and drinking, the guy remembered all of our drinks from the first time.This place have, maybe, the best burger we had in our last four weeks of traveling the east coast, it really was "bussing".We also had the Chicken Curry, Fried Calamari and some spicy Buffalo Wings that were also really good.We cant recommend this place enough for its food and service!

The Bartender was great. Sully was up by himself and was keeping everyones glasses filled. I dont usually go into bars but the coworkers I was with wanted to stop and have a drink. Great little pub.

Nice bar, good vibes. It was a little loud if i recall. For a quick bite and a drink while waiting for the LIRR, its not a bad spot.

I ordered a drink from the standing board and also the waiter recommended, I said okayI thought I was drinking pink lemonade 🤨 after few minutes I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries omg the fries were salty for my cup of tea. Never againWe paid for good drinks/food not for a 9oz.plastic cup full of iced and salty fries. I dont and wont recommended.

The servers were really nice, I asked for a charger for my phone and they lend me their own so I could use it while I was eating.Prices are quite good for its location, places around it are more pricey. I had a burger and I ordered sweet potatoes but they brought me regular fries. When I told them, they immediately took the order and in 3 minutes I had my sweet potatoes.There are some regulars that seem to come here often and know the servers.

Dark and divey with a hodge podge of music. Good food with accessible staff and patrons.

Went for drinks after work. The bartender was great. Ordered scotch and fries. It was perfect to decompress. Only problem is someone took over the music and only played Taylor Swift. I love T swift.... But not all night long... In a bar.... With scotch.

This was a mixed experience, at best.Bad: I walked in off the street and theres a host/hostess stand with nobody at it. I waited... waited... waited. Decided just to go seat myself. Good: The waitress showed up right away to ask if I wanted food, drink, or both. I said both, and ordered a Guinness.Bad: It took a long time to get the beer. She came back for food order (still no beerand I ordered Curry Chicken. The beer and meal arrived at almost the same time. The bar didnt appear to be that busy.Good: The food was delicious. The Guinness was, well, Guinness.Bad: The wait staff seemed more interested in their cell phones than serving customers and asking if they needed anything. I would have ordered dessert, or at least asked if it was an option, had I any confidence that the order would show up quickly. Now I know why some restaurants have a "no cell phone" policy for servers.Some ups, some downs, but the frustration offset the tasty food, Im afraid.

Had some time to kill before my train and this place fit the bill. Nice atmosphere. Decent prices for the area. Had the brisket sandwich and it was delicious. Fries were nice and crisp. Guinness was fresh and cold!

Pretty decent bar/restaurant near MSG and Times Square. Good, fast service. The Dark and Stormy I had was great. The French Onion Soup was tasty, but just needed a little more salt. Same with the Chicken Pot Pie. Overall, it was a good dining experience. I will come back again in the future.

Excellent spot for lunch! I am sure this is a good spot to try out anytime, but the $10 lunch special is great! I had the burger and salad. The salad was really nice with spinach and some other spring greens, cherry toms, cucumbers, and a few slices of bell pepper. It was topped off by a very nice Italian vinaigrette. The burger was delicious! Nice portion of tasty beef, cheddar cheese, large slice of tomato, fresh onion, lettuce, and some caramelized onions, all on a yummy brioche bun. Terrific! The service was okay, very friendly but also busy. So, better than okay, it was good. It would be fun to try this place out when they are not busy, but that may never be the case! I will be back!!
