Jnan sbil in Taza
Description
Enjoyed our time here. The gardens were peaceful and had a full crew keeping the place tidy and maintained. The "lake" was missing water, but other water features were active. I wish more plants were labled like the herbs were, but for the price (free! It was worth the visit.
MoreNice if you need a reprieve from the hustle bustle of the city and Medina. There is a beautiful fountain and its right opposite one of the royal gates
MoreNice park to visit in Fes
The park is located near the Jewish quarter and it can be the great place for break. There was no water in the lake neither in few canals. The garden is huge with amazing exotic flora (and few cats :). It is very clean with lot of banks for the relaxing.
MoreNice garden but nothing too special.
Quiet place near the Medina, but the water is all gone so don’t expect water like in the pictures
MoreThe garden is such difference and they are there a lot of plant , the air have a good oxygen , but the problem that the water doesnt exist
MoreNothing special, water stuff are all out of order but a nice place to take some time off from the medina
MoreJnan sbil is the best parc in Fes where you can have a relaxable moments among the trees and different types of plants and flowers, besides the fresh air and the nice sound of water coming from diferrent sources.
MoreBeautiful need activities and need a public toilet and a fresh drink place
Its my favorite place specially when Im sadIts so big and you can easily find a perfect place to escape from your thoughts and just relax
MoreA clean garden to visit with family
Very normal park to be honest. Nice place to have a chilled out chat :)
Nice and quiet garden, good for a stroll and family gatherings. Resonably cool in a hot day.
MoreNice Park you can visit for free many trees,Palms, flowers it was nice walk there !!!
MoreBeautiful garden, peaceful place.
A very pretty public garden just a short walk away from the Blue Gate of Fes’ Medina. None of the water features were functioning/had any water in during our visit, but that didn’t take away from the beauty of the garden! Lots of lovely fruit trees and colourful flowers to walk around, and plenty of benches to sit down and enjoy the place on. I found that (being from the Green Country™️ of EnglandI was really starting to miss greenery after spending a little while in both Marrakech and Fes, so it was nice to have a wander round!
MoreThis park is definitely a must visit on your trip to Fes. There is a wide array of vegetation and the way the park is layed out is very beautiful. Sadly all the water related elements were out of use. As around 20% of the park should be covered in water this is a real shame.
MoreClosed. No information on hours. Lots of aggressive stray dogs. Looked nice but a total waste of time to travel there to look though gates
MoreAwful. Bad maintenance. The police walked behind us. You can not do anything. Not a single fountain on nor clean, there is trash around, the artificial river has no water. The artificial pond is full of trash. The police scolded the children for picking up a random stick, looking at ducks and there are no signs for anything. If you do not have anywhere else to go, you can spend your time there. Everything is "la la la" which means no. The police dont understand french nor spanish nor english.
MoreNice place to walk around and enjoy the nature. Beautiful little man made lake with lots of seating around to enjoy the scenery.
MoreIts a beautiful place to relax and meditate 😌😌
Actually fantastic park previously but nowadays there is no water in the pool or any water canal or any other small pond or pool. I dont know why, maybe due to water shortage, global warming or something. However park is still relaxing and away from city rush.
MoreThat was great , I spent q wonderful time with mom and family , clean and quite and grean that all it matter there .
MoreA place where u can seriously breathe and enjoy the beauty of nature , definitely worth visiting
MoreBeautiful escape, wish there were more gardens like this in Fez
Amazing free entrance green garden in the middle of old city of Fes. Very clean and well maintained, beautiful trees and flowers everywhere, bamboo trees, water pool with birds and swans. Calm place to visit after hustle bustle old city.
MoreDefinitely recommend a visit here when coming to Fès. Its a beautiful garden area that offers a range of scenery and is very close to many good restaurants and souks- markets. Blue gate is a 3 minute walk, and I recommend eating at Cinema Cafe, its about a 15 minute walk but it is honestly worth it! They will also start blowing a whistle when its time to leave.
MoreWe wondered into this park almost by accident but it was worth the visit. It’s also a good place to get some shades and rest a bit during the hot day.
MoreVery nice garden and spacious, open for public. Enjoy the photos
Im sorry that I cant pronounce the name of this park. On the other hand, its a great place to take a walk and relax. I didnt think there would be such a high level of garden in the Pes. ★★★★♥...I watched a teacher(?and some children play together for 5 minutes. Some mothers also came with them to observe. Medina is important in cities like Pes, but gardens and parks are also very important for the development of cities.
MoreThis place is called by the local people as "Florence" and they are the best gardes of Fes.Its a touristic place with a lot of police: very safe!
MoreHonestly the 4.5 rating is way too high. The garden is whatever honestly. I saw one bloody flower the entire trip. AND they tried to charge me to use the restroom. I just walked away lol
MoreFormer royal park with free entrance near the Blue Gate. Perfect for a stroll in the heat of the Fes summer. Expect to spent 20 to 30 minutes here. The park has a bathroom.
MoreIts a calm garden where ppl can go to relax and get some fresh air.
A great big FREE garden, well maintained, clean, a must visit for all travelers to Fez, visit to relax and take a break from the hustle of the Medina, its just 100 meters from the Blue Gate, you can find plants fontains tall palms..., entrance is free. Recharge and explore more.
MoreBeautiful well kept park. Cool in the shade. A pleasure to spend time strolling around the sweet smelling roses and waterfalls. We sat near the lake and listened to the birds.
MoreBeautiful garden, and free! The garden is quite large and well maintained. It features a variety of flowers, herbs, cactus, fountains, bamboo, streams, a pond and oddly enough a small caged selection of birds (pigeons, peacock, and pheasant). It is a great place to get away and decompress in the city.
MoreA lovely garden with various interesting features including some of its plant species, its flower arrangements and water features.
MoreBeautiful garden, perfect for a stroll or an afternoon rest of the weather is good. It has all sorts of plants, like palm tree, orange trees, cactus, etc, also a beautiful lake in the centre, very scenic and picturesque. Although not as fancy as jardin majorelle in Marrakech, this garden is entry free and more space to walk around and less crowded as well. A must visit in Fez !
MoreWe came there around 6pm, google was showing it was open until 7pm but unfortunately we faced closed gates..Next day we were in the neighborhood, the garden is very close to the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud), and it was finally open.Quite a lot of people there, mostly locals. The garden is very beautiful and we were sitting quietly at the nice lake until a fake security guard came to us, old guy and he got into talk with us and offered us a cigarette and lured us into his ‘cheap’ Moroccan stuff institute which was bad quality, looked bad and was unbelievably expensive. 500 Dirham (50 eurosfor a small ceramic plate. People also were very rude after we didn’t want to buy. Don’t go with them!Apart from that we liked the park a lot, perfect getaway from all the hassle in the souks! And above all, it is for free!
MoreBeautiful garden. I visited this garden on my last day of the trip to Morocco. It is very well maintained garden. Entry to garden is free.Easy walk taking your time. Bamboo forests, collections of cacti, orange trees, roses, and ponds. It is not very big but very relaxing nonetheless.
MoreJnan Sbil it’s a pretty beautiful garden in Fes. Is really green and full of life and it’s worth a stop on your way to the Royal Palace. I was actually surprised of how beautiful and organized the garden was taking into account that it was in the middle of nowhere in some kind of way. Allow maybe one hour of relax here.
MoreVery quiet garden just a short walk out of the medina through the Blue Gate. Large green areas with palm trees and bambu, various fountains and a lake. There are lots of sitting areas both in the sun or shade. There are no playgrounds here so it might not be ideal for kids. It is good to relax a bit if youre weary from the hectic medina.Beware of some men who try to approach tourists to try sell tours or bring you to the business they work for. If you just say no right away they usually wont bother you anymore.
MoreNice walk to go around and rest a bit from the sun in Morocco, very recommended if you want to chill a bit. The entry is free.
MoreBeautiful, quiet and green oasis with water fountains, a river and a small lake. A great escape from the heat and the bustling city. Lots of shade and benches for relaxation. They also have some bird cages.
MoreWell kept and pleasant garden near the medina of Fes. Loved the patterns with colourful flowers and the fountains. Theres also birds, peacocks and pigeons mainly, in cages in one of the corners. Perfect for an afternoon walk.
MoreLovely quite place in the middle of a crowded city. Its one, of those places you dont expect to enjoy as much as you will. Its quite large and there are a lot of different things to see.
MoreVery nice garden, where you can leave the busy streets of Fez behind you and just relax a bit. There are many possibilities to sit down and just watch the birds and listen to their sound. There are some fountains and a small river with small romantic bridges and a watermill. You find also a toilet in the park which is useable, there is somebody who is taking care of the facilities.
MoreThe beautiful garden is a real treat for the eyes. The green trees and the colorful flowers are really nice. Not very far from the Old Medina, this garden is a perfect place for relaxation.
