Outpost of a local bar & grill chain, serving American pub grub & drinks in a sports-bar setting.
Not bad. This part of Worthington is adorable. The service was great. I got the cheese tortellini. It was fine. Under seasoned, but that seems to be the norm for pasta. When asked about dessert they brought out something store bought (I passed). It wasn’t bad, I would not pick it as a place to return to.
I go here a lot, but had a bad experience today. My first glass of water had a dirty glass, and the replacement already had a dead bug in it when it arrived at my table (see pic). And the service is poor to where I still havent gotten new water at time of writing. Oh and my french fries look more like hash browns with how small they are.
Always fine but never blown away. The patio is very nice!
The service was good but you could tell the wings were pre cooked lacking flavor in and were a bit mealy. I wouldnt order them again.
We had our sons rehearsal luncheon there today. Flowerama made the private room gorgeous, Mario prepared a delicious selection of foods (including some of the best salmon Ive never hadand poor server Courtney was outstanding.
The food is good but not out-of-this- world. Staff is always super nice, often busy but we have never had trouble getting a table. And they will put the Crew games on!
Much like their menu, the food and service at Jimmy Vs is a mixed bag. The outdoor seating was lovely, among the coleus and impatiens; we waited for 20 minutes - after a reminder at the bar 15 minutes in - until we saw a server. The saganaki was amazing, and Marios Mediterranean burger was incredible. In contrast, the veggie gyro didnt have roasted red peppers as advertised, and the chips served with the gyro were the shrapnel from the bottom of the bag. For the issues, the management gave us 10% off our bill. The service was excellent, once we got it.All in all, 3 stars: mostly solid Greek and pub fare, good service, but nothing to "wow" us.
never been here before. no one seemed in a hurry to do anything. food a bit pricy for what they give you. my friend and I both ordered hamburgers. I asked for medium well. and she wanted well. mine was bloody and hers wasnt much better. sorry wont be back.
The food was good but Id like bigger portions.
Went to watch Browns this weekend, ok place nothing great, nothing bad typical sports bar. Two issues too dark and for the love of God get some new TVs! They were close to unwatchable. Considering TVs are super cheap now days and everyone there was there to watch them you might want to step up your game.
Had the Alfredo chicken with peppers it was incredible! Best Alfredo Ive ever had. I had it before and came back to see if it was really that good and it was. 20 miles from my house but Ill be back!
Weve been going to Jimmy Vs since they opened, but I think weve been priced out now. The kids meal prices went up by two dollars. This was for about a cup of pasta with butter for $7.99. No drink or garlic bread included. The kids meals alone were $23 with drinks. Bud Light and Miller Lite were $4 a bottle. I get that theres inflation, but this is too much. We even heard that they raised the prices for the servers meals. Why they wouldnt give servers free meals in the day and age that its hard finding help is beyond me.We love supporting local business, but your pricing does not appeal to local customers. In the past, it wouldve been a wait to get a patio table on a gorgeous fall evening, but we walked right in at 6 pm, and there were outside tables available the whole night. We hope this doesnt become a permanent change because we will miss going there for family dinners.
We waited for twenty minutes for service on the patio while multiple servers tended to every table but ours. They never even brought us menus. We took some from another table. After it became apparent we were not going to be served, we left.
Great food, and we loved sitting on the patio!
This was a terrible experience. The mozzarella sticks were hollow. The bison burger was way over cooked. Came with no cheese or any condiments. Service was slow. We spent $90 on a horrible experience. We won’t be going back.
In the period of 10 mins or so we were never acknowledged or served. The servers that were working passed us by and never said a word so we left. We are servers and hospitality workers and we found it to be a little ridiculous that we werent even acknowledged.
Stopped here for brunch. They have Crispy potatoes! My burrito was full of flavor and so big I couldnt finish it. My husband had traditional eggs Benedict and said it was perfect.
Stopped in for lunch after visiting the local farmers market. Excellent service, great food at a decent price. Want to go back to try some other things on the menu.
Went on a Sunday sat on the patio great atmosphere. We had a wonderful waiter very friendly very personable. The food was wonderful and the bloody Mary was most excellent.
Our sever chit chat and waited on the table next 2 us..who got great service...of course they were millennials too...talking college party school ect.Ill hit up the one in pataskala...not as nice of a patio BUT GOOD SERVICE IS ERRRRY THING
My husband is working in the area so we like to try new places. We happen to have friends that are locals to the area so we met up for a bite and few drinks. The bar is very comfy and cozy and enabled our group of 6 to sit closely and chat. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. They have a touchtunes jukebox so we could play music, clean bathroom, a beautiful patio with waterfall, but I think my favorite part of their decor was the copper bar. Drinks were good, food was good, atmosphere was good. We will def be back during our stay in the Columbus area.
I hate to say this but we were pretty disappointed at Jimmy Vs. Our server was friendly however most of what we ordered was meh. The chicken wings were good but not prepared to order; the soup of day was chicken tortilla with an odd oily fishy taste, overly thick consistency and little chicken; the fries were mostly tiny bit and pieces (not the usual piping hot generously cut and spiced fries); the chicken fajitas were mostly vegetable fajitas BUT the southwest chicken panini sandwich was excellent!Try again.....maybe but only because the patio is such a nice atmosphere!
Great food, cold drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere. Staff is very kind, down to earth and laid back. Would give it a solid 5 stars if they had about twice as many tables! Finding a seat during busy hours is the only drawback. Huge patio to accommodate this however weather is not always accommodating.
Delicious food and friendly, accommodating staff :-)
Absolute Best patio in Westerville if not all of Central Ohio. Always Great Service, Always Great Food. My wife and I come here at least a couple of times a month. Highly recommend
Great atmosphere but good was not very good. I understand understaffed (which they dont appear to bebut lack of even trying is something else... I would consider returning to try a gyro but I dont think Ill be back anytime soon. This looks like a popular bar to drink beer.
Had the gyro salad, it was good. Really liked the tzatziki. It got very loud, and the booth benches need re-stuffing.
I had the perfect hamburger last eve. Exactly like I ordered. Patio and server were great.
Pleasing outdoor seating, with waterfall wall and plants ambience, it gives a cheerful feel in the evening dinner. Nice menu with nice small bites options. Chicken panini was tasty. Hummus tasted the fresh with warm small cut pita bread. Inside seating is happening and lively. There is parking behind and around the restaurant (street). Staff is friendly and suggests good items to eat for the first timers.Recommendations: restrooms have to be checked at regular intervals to keep it clean and neat. It was messy during my visit.
Fast and friendly service with really good food at the perfect price!I had the homemade spinach dip with warm pita chips It was fresh and hit the spot! The drinks were a good pour and the place felt like Cheers when you walked in!Good variety of music, tvs throughout and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a wide variety of food and drink options!
This place is the place to be if you want a fun, casual, no fuss, good food and drink with your friends kind of place. The outside patio is so relaxing and inviting! You feel like you are in a bistro in Europe somewhere. Its absolutely enjoyable all around!
I came here for my first time on Saturday May 14th around 230pm with my family and parents. My mom and I both got the grilled chicken gyro. While eating it my mom bite into something that wasnt food. She pulled a plastic bread tab out of her mouth. My father alerted the the waiter and he looked shocked and went and talked with someone by the bar/kitchen area. When he came back later he never said anything about it and he seemed really uncomfortable. My guess is the manager didnt really care and didnt want to do anything about it. My mom didnt want a free meal or anything and never asked for one. I just think that it was completely rude that the manager never came over and at the very least apologized for it. A small part of the plastic bread tab was even missing and my mom said she hoped she didnt swallow it. Someone could have choked on it. The whole thing was handled very poorly by them.
Good food at reasonable prices. Never a wait to get in and served.stoppef In for mothers day for brunch. Had two couples sitting in the front of the building with the glass windows open. After they left asked it they would close the windows because of the chilly breeze at our table, said yes of course he would but believe the girl behind the bar told him no so we spent the rest of brunch shivering from the breeze. Thanks. Will reconsider where I have breakfast on the weekends.
Wonderful food and a nice setting. Friendly and welcoming staff. The restrictions was very busy but our food came really fast
Very nice. Food was great, and the waiter was very responsive and helpful. Interior could use some work, but overall it was very nice.
Well, the old Jimmy Vs let us down big time. Arrived around 9:15 pm... there was a bartender and a few patrons at the bar, but no one greeted us. No servers, the bartender didnt even look our way. We were the only persons in near the bar at a table. Signs said they were still serving, but maybe no staff? Girls came in laughing, I believe they were servers.. but then did their own thing. I could have been mistaken. Music was so loud couldnt hear anything above it. Oh well, that is too bad. We wont stop there again.
Popped in for Happy Hour- the special of the day Apple Martinis 🍸 and delicious. We got the cold appetizer platter, more than enough and took some home. We also had the hot wings. Not even close to hot, and the spinach dip with pitas- so good. The hubs and I had a nice afternoon time and the place was not very crowded. Happy hour is from 1-5 and doesnt fit in our work schedule, but nice every now and then.
The menu was pretty extensive. Something for everyone in your group. I went with a "Jimmy V favorite" sandwich and I did not regret it. The server was prompt and approachable. Very nice.
Good food with huge servings! I ordered the classic Gyro, my husband ordered a panini. We shared the Antipasto, which was huge and definitely big enough to share.
Excellent chicken philly, fries and hot sauce. The best 👌
Got the Pan-Seared Shrimp and it was absolutely delicious! It came with 10 or 12 stain slices of ciabatta, and the sauce was excellent. Other members of my group had paninis and they were satisfied as well. Service was excellent and the casual atmosphere was fantastic.
It took 30 minutes for two beers, food was incorrect first time out. No impressed. $50 for two burgers and two beers.
We had a party of seven arriving at different times. They had no issue with that. Good service, good food. The fries are excellent, definitely recommend.Decent beer selection, would like to see more Columbus beers but not a deal breaker.
Falafel lettuce wraps were served with literally one piece of lettuce (and a single random frywhich we laughed off. Our waitress acknowledged that was odd too, but it took awhile for us to get more lettuce. We also werent served cutlery. The wait staff did start to make us feel like we overstayed our welcome after we finished eating, but we kept checking and noticed plenty of empty tables. Service wasnt great on a Thursday night, but I think they were busier than usual. Our waitress was really pleasant despite everything. Overall it was an average experience and not so bad that I wouldnt give them another try, especially given the current climate in hospitality. The patio space was my favorite part.
Turkey melt panini with chips was good. Big menu. It did take a little while to get the food, but it was a nice lunch. I will be back to try some other things.
Patio was absolutely beautiful! Really enjoyed the atmosphere with the fountain, gorgeous flowers, and umbrellas at all the tables. The service was friendly but lacking. It seems to be due to a lack of training as it was just very very slow service. We sat there for at least 15 minutes waiting on menus. The appetizer was brought out without little plates or napkins or silverware, and the napkins and silverware didn’t come at all until we received our food and notes that we didn’t have forks or anything. The food was pretty good. I got chicken parmesan which was a very large portion and good. My friend got a patty melt with fries. The fries were mostly little burnt crumbles but they were seemingly fresh cut. The patty melt had unmelted American cheese and barely cooked onions. The chicken lemon soup was amazing though, really enjoyed that! Will probably return because of the amazing patio and draft beer selection but will order something Greek next time.
The food was really good. The waitresses were helpful and attentive. It did take about 30 minutes from sitting down to getting food. If you have time for a slow lunch, definitely worth checking out!
Great food and reasonable price. Love the outdoor space.
Went there today for lunch with my husband, and we will definitely be back! The food was delicious - I had the Spicy Southwestern Chicken panini and he had the Texas Chicken Sandwich. I would definitely recommend both, and their sweet potato fries. To cap off lunch we each had a piece of baklava, which came out with whipped cream and chocolate syrup on top. The toppings werent really necessary, I nudged most of it off of mine, but the baklava itself was scrumptious.Additionally our server Matt was fantastic, so props to him!
I had the Greek Gyro which was excellent! My husband had the Cuban panini along with waffle fries. The waffle fries were definitely better than the French fries. Very good food. Patio was too full for us but we enjoyed sitting at the bar.
