Jim Bobs BBQ in Las Cruces

I had a sandwich made with Texas toast, onion rings, pulled pork, cheese, and bacon. The sandwich had a good flavor, but the toast was burned and didnt taste great.

Was charged for an item that they were out of. They never removed it from my bill.

Spending the night in Las Cruces and looked for some BBQ. Not much to choose from. Saw this place on line and me and my buddy decided to try it. Its really a bar that happens to have bbq cook onsite. Good atmosphere. Plenty of seating inside and out. Waitress was friendly. Small 3 piece group playing on stage. They were out of ribs at 7pm. We decided to get a chopped brisket sandwich. My side was Mac/cheese, my friend had fries. Food delivery after a short wait. The sandwich was very good. I prefer sliced brisket (were from Texasbut this was good. Sides were ok. The dont have a lot of choices on the menu but enough to have choices. If you live Las Cruces or are visiting, be sure to give this spot a try.

Awesome burgers and pulled pork sandwiches. A bit pricey. $32 for 4 sandwiches. Inside the Ice House Brewery.

I have been told by some people to try this place, and it even has good reviews online. I will never step foot in there again. 1.Service was horrible. 2.Food was mediocre. 3.Some of the BBQ sauces that they had tasted like salad dressing. Not the best at all like everyone is talking about.

Great food with a wide range of tasty sauces. The location is a bit confusing, you actually eat at the Ice Box Brewery and order food from them. Youll notice it is the same address. As a side bonus there is a lot of great beer available from the brewery.

Had an incredible time eating my favorite pulled pork sandwiches and French fries here in Las Cruces. Havent been to the Icebox brewery before Jimbobs relocated here. Still same great food! Great atmosphere at the brewery, table service was phenomenal. You wont be disappointed. I was so excited to eat my food I forgot to take a picture!

Best BBQ ever!!! He makes his own sauces, they are the best you have to try this place out you wont regret it, its definitely worth the money and a good portion sizes, very friendly, family operated. I absolutely love this place!!!

Delicious! The best tasting pulled pork I’ve had! Brisket is top notch also! The variety of sauces they have is also incredible.

First time eating this bbq and I can say it was all out terrible!!! Coleslaw was no good should have been thrown out along time ago.Mac and cheese tasted like it was from a box.Potato salad was runny and terrible.Brisket was shredded not sliced and very dry.I paid $53.00 for terrible food save your money and eat someplace else.

Went again this weekend. The way I feel when I leave this place is on another level. The food is consistently amazing. The sauces are amazing. The customer service is top notch. You cant find places that have the full package anymore but this place is thriving. **WARNING** The spicy bites are indeed VERY VERY spicyIm already planning my next weekend trip to get another delicious pulled pork sandwhich. I wish I could buy one of the sauce samplers and take it home. Theyre all so good and the kids love picking out which color I should try or mix.

Its a small BBQ joint they have a great pulled pork sandwich the onion rings were really good I love the sauce choices they have the service was fairly quick and the waitress was very polite I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing Barbecue place! Their ribs are absolutely incredible and we love the selection of sauces! Our favorite one is the prickly pear habanero. If you are nearby and love barbecues, make sure to stop by this place and try their ribs.

Was there Friday July 2. Excellent and fast and very friendly service. Was highly impressed. Lots of airport history on the wall.Order was ready in about 10 mins. Will go back again . Prices very reasonable. Lots of parking.

Tried a new place. It wasnt terrible, but it wasnt great either. The ribs fell right of the bone, and tasted watery. Made me think they were reheated and held in a steam table too long. Pulled pork was okay. The sauce had a liquid smoke flavor. The jalapeno beans where freaking awesome tons of flavor. I like the atmospere. My biggest disappointment tho was the big pellet smoker right by the entrance when you walk in. I wish I would have noticed it before going in. They make okay BBQ, but not great BBQ. You can never replace a real pit master.

Got a brisket sandwich. The sauce was great the meat was ok and the Texas Toast was BLACK! Teach the kitchen not to send out bread like that, I wanted a sandwich and couldnt eat it because it made the meat taste burnt as well. My wife got the pulled pork sandwich and her best was slightly better. I have a pic of the toast but dont know where to post it.

We are true BBQ lovers from NC where we believe good BBQ is fine dining and bad BBQ is taken as a personal insult.We had the pulled pork sandwiches today and they did not disappoint. The pork was tender and sufficiently smoky without being over smoked. The bread was delicious and nicely toasted on the flat-top. The slaw was bright tasting and a great complement to the delicious pork. The sauce we chose was the "Lexi" which is a NC style vinegar based sauce. It was spot on!All of the other menu items looked very appealing and the desserts looked amazing. We are planning our return visit as we write this review. We have found our BBQ place in Las Cruces!

Absolutely delicious, made when ordered! Great service too. The Pig Melt is to die for, were looking forward to trying each sauce since theyre all so delicious!

Went to new location at Las Cruces airport... had the new biscuits and gravy, they were delicious... Jim Bob’s does it again with a home run. Love this place!

Was recommended by the girl at the register to get one of their baked goods (which I had presumed were a bit old but still good enough to eatbut when I got home with the cinnamon bagel I come to find out that the underside of the bagel was already molding for a while. Health hazard to customers. At least check your older desserts for mold! Instead of trying to sell them despite the generous amounts of mold that comes with it.

Informative of what their business as to offer. Patient in letting me do a taste test on the BBQ sauces. Great and friendly customer service. knowledgeable on the menu. By the way I got the ribs! Mmmm great taste, fall off the bone, juicey. Definitely worth the stop

Wonderful small restaurant that offers quality food at reasonable price. Be prepared to wait a bit longer than what they tell you. They said it would be a 10mins wait yet I waited 25mins.(1The beef burger was very juicy and tender. It was savory and tasty.(2The pulled pork sandwich was crispy and full of roasted aroma. However, I wish they put more bbq sauce in it as it was a bit dry and tasteless inside.(3The onion rings were delicious and crunchy.(4The vinaigrette slaw was sour and it definitely brought up my appetite.

Seriously good BBQ! We tried their new spot at Las Cruces Airport and it was solid. I tried a fusion of sorts... breakfast biscuit with the BBQ meat, as a hybrid sandwich. Super tasty, great customer service!

Bought a half rack of ribs to check them out (so tired of bad BBQbut wow! They are the real deal. Excellent ribs and sauces. I will be back again and again to try their other stuff. Call about the items not on website. I found out they have BBQ chicken hind quarters...one of my favorites.

Wonderful experience. I ordered but realized Id forgotten my card and a wonderful man offered to pay my order. What a beautiful blessing this man was. Theres still beautiful people in this world. God bless him and his family. The food was delicious.

WOW. Totally blew this place off for a long time due to the precarious nature of parking/the way it looks on the outside! I had tried their pulled pork at a food competition and never had a reason to go. Finally was like, okay, tired of the same old thing, and went. SO GLAD I DID. Price point, amazing. food quality, amazing. sauce options, phenomenal. Every sandwich (pulled pork, brisket, green chile cheese burgeris under 8$!! Its like 6$ a sandwich! My mind was blown. Hard to find anything high-quality (barbecuefor such a low price! The inside is cuter than the outside and the staff are fast and friendly. They have like 12 different types of house-made sauces which keeps me going back. Some of the sauces have amazing spice flavor.

Best BBQ in town, easily. Great staff with excellent recommendations of sauces for the different meats. I had the sausage, brisket and ribs. My mouth is still watering. Potato salad was delicious and the owner made sure we were satisfied and happy.

Came in today for the first time since before the Corona panic. It was delish. The ribs were tender and falling off the bone. The brisket was moist and a great smokey flavor. I like that they have an extensive list of different sauces to try with your meal. This spot has excellent food, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and my order was out quickly. Get over there and support the good people at Jim Bobs! You wont be sorry you did.

We were looking for a quick and delicious bbq style meal on the way back to San Diego. We stopped here. Worth it delicious courteous staff. Safe and clean yummy!

Take this from someone who isnt all about BBQ in general, this place puts Rudys to shame!!! The reason I dont really care for BBQ much is because most places drown their meats in tons of sauce, and I feel like all Im eating is sauce. This place does the opposite. Their meats are cooked with a flavor rub, and maybe just a tiny bit of sauce, so when you start chowing down, you actually taste the flavor of the meat. ITS SO GOOD!!!! Theyve got nearly a dozen different sauces that you can add and try to whatever plate youre eating. Their onion rings are cooked perfectly - I like knowing that when I take a bite of an onion ring, the whole onion wont slip out of the breading. I really love their potato salad too. Jim Bobs serves generous portions. Those burgers are handmade, seasoned patties, which you cant beat! The entire staff at Jim Bobs are super friendly, and every time Ive been, they treat everyone there like family. Bring your appetite, because you wont be disappointed!

We found a great barbeque joint here at Jim Bobs BBQ. The owner and staff is friendly and the food is excellent.

Dont let the location and outlook fool you, its a great bbq with good sides and fast service. Must try green chilly cheese burger, good potion, great taste, perfectly cooked.

Fresh meat, awesome sauces! Jim Bobs has great burgers, lots of delicious options. My Green Chile Cheeseburger was flavor-filled, cooked just right and the portion was large. I really liked the seasoned fries and prefer them over the macaroni and cheese. Beverage options are lackluster. This is a great spot for a simple, filling, and inexpensive meal.

Holy cow, best BBQ weve ever had. This place opened not too long ago and we finally stopped by, so glad we did! Delicious food, and fast. Theyre smoking their own every morning, great variety, rarely out of things, fresh and very clean. From the outside this place looks a bit like an old greasy spoon diner, but dont let that fool you. Its quite tidy and the food isnt oily or gritty or too fatty like a lot of BBQ can be. Friendly people who are passionate about great food.

This place was absolutely amazing. The food and sauces have great flavor. The staff is very friendly. It was a place that made you feel like home. The owner took the time to talk with us while we were there. They also were willing to accommodate us for the food we bought for my husbands service dog. Great food, great people, highly recommended!

After seeing this place newly opened for a couple months and putting off trying it, I finally did and was immediately filled with regret. Regret that I hadnt tried it earlier. The couple that owns the place are super friendly, and make sure that everything is just perfect with your food. They gave us 6 different types of sauces (the Alabama White is just to die for by the wayalong with our order. The pork was phenomenally spiced and cooked, the brisket was moist, with great texture, and the sausage was juicy and delicious. Im looking forward to coming again, which will certainly be in the near future.

This place is genuinely amazing. Great service, family owned, the jim bobs original burger was just delicious, full of flavor, big juice patty, and the sauce was on point . The pulled pork had such a fresh taste to is, it was amazing. The sides were Cole slaw and mac and cheese, they had such a home made taste, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
