I didnt like the concept of the place, if you enjoy eating in an atmosphere of war, and when under your glass table you can see bullets - youll enjoy the place.

Many options to choose from, tried 4 and all of them were delicious. Service was nice and reasonably quick. Place looks great as well.

I was more inclined to a 3.5 , but for 4 its finePizza its goos, very traditionalService its a little complex, need a little improvementOverall a good option, the place itself its cozy and relaxing .

After other "Veteran" like places Ive visited in EU and US, me and my retired friend, were expecting some options on the menu, however... our great disappointment is the fact that regular dishes or formally saying normal meal is represented only by pizza after 9 pm. Weve tried to order ribs, but waitress told us that its too late for ribs and we should make pre order next time. But we stay optimistic! Decided to drink some local cocktail and then move to the next stop for a meal. Weve ordered 2 Big Lebowski, which is widely known and should be just fine. And there is another butThat was not the Big Lebowski we use to know, the taste and serving wasnt that old good and familiar. Afterwards we payed and left.

Ordered simple traditional pepperoni pizza with mozzarella and artichoke. The abortion we were served had zero mozzarella, the waitress claimed "its our version of mozzarella" yellow not white, mushy not stringy could not eat it, the only the pepperoni was edible. Scant artichoke, but thin ham? and mushrooms were added which mixed with the mushy "cheese" was also inedible. It appears they use a cheesefood product that mimics cheese. Thousands of good reviews for that revolting mess? Either faked or patrons here never tasted real Italian pizza. Ordered dark beer recieved light. If you want a real pizza Beware!

Their pizza and fresh-squeezed orange juice are great. The place is beautiful.

The pizza its nice. However, I think there is a lot of oil. Furthermore, WC was not that clean. We also find a small worm 🐛 in the cheese plate. The servers where very polite they replaced it, and we didnt pay for that.

The ambiance was veteran themed but the backyard garden seemed a lot prettier to dine in (they said they only served indoors at those hours). The indoors had a really bad feet smell unfortunately. We ordered Галицька (Galacianand Вегетарiана(vegetarianpizzas but the Galacian pizza arrived very late despite the waitress telling us that it will be on the table 5 minutes later than the vegetarian. I had to finish mine before the Galacian pizza could make it to the table because mine started getting cold nevertheless they made it up by serving us a delicious cheesecake. The pizzas were tasty but the vegetarian pizza felt a bit more like appetizer bread than an actual pizza. The Galacian pizza’s dough and crust were just the way they should have been even though it gave a bit of a heart burn after we left.

The staff here are too young to have been in any conflict with Russia. The only thing that they are recent veterans of is High school.They spend most of their time talking to eachother and ignoring the customer.I ate here on two different occasions and sadly the last time I was there will be my last time forever.At best the Pizza was average, at worse it contains different ingredients than the menu claimed.My Mach 2 pizza had no chilli at all even though I asked for extra chilli.This is a themed restaurant, it could easily have been another Irish themed Pub restaurant. Please dont believe the hype.

Despite the atmosphere full of live reminders of a war that is still going on - from signed battle flags and ribbons to bullet casings under glass making the table surfaces - its not grim. Rather it feels calming and uplifting, to see that people whove been through the horrors of war are back home, finding peace, happiness and purpose despite bearing all the bitter memories.And about quisine: pizza is amazing. There are many Italian recipes not often found in Kyiv as well as several original ones, and if youre unsure about which one to try - theres good news: you can try two different kinds in one pizza divided into two different halves. Prices are relatively modest (just under 300 hryvnas for a large ~1 kg pizzaconsidering the place right near the central square, the quality food, and nice service. This place tolerates dogs and the staff loves them, so your fluffy companion doesnt have to wait outside and will even be offered a plate of their own c:A final note on alcohol selection: the place offers a very limited choice of wine & beer, however the variety of options for strong drinks such as whiskey or rum is unusually broad.

The staff spoke English, which is a great benefit to us travelers. The seating was outside and it happened to be terrific weather today. The food was good and fairly priced.

Pizza was not good at all, had tomatoes in the Margarita, not following the original recipe, and way too much cheese for an italian styled pizza. Its like a pizza you can get in any stret food place for half the price. Also, we had to laugh because they charged us 35uah for a little bit of Tabasco, so it seems like they want to squeeze the last cent out of you! I will definitely not go back.Service wasnt so bad though,hence the 2 stars.

Gelmişken deneyin derim.Nice exterior design and nice theme, we had reservated our table so it didnt be a problem for us.When you ordered a pizza you wait like thirty minutes or something. We ordered ceaser but green salads, they forgot it but they immediately fix it. If you want to add or something you should be aware of that.Prices are a bit expensive but the pizzas were worth it.The staff are very kind and they know English.So whiteout the waiting, its definitely a 5 star pizza restaurant.

The place is nice and the food is good but unfortunately the service wasnt the best. Because they needed the table for other people, they brought us the bill without asking if we finished eating. Actually, we ordered something that never arrived and we wanted to have a dessert but there is no time to ask for.

Fast service and really tasty pizza. I can say its the best pizza Ive eaten in a long time. The girl who served us was very friendly and helpful. I recommend cabernet sauvignon for red wine lovers. Prices are really reasonable.

Pizza itself was ok, not goog not great but ok. Better than dominos, worse then mamamia. And definitely different from Napule.Lemonade sucks: its just cold water with some slices of lemons and grapefruits. It should be more concentrated with stronger taste.Cocktails are ok. They dont have Kalua and white russian, I had bros in arms. And there was a tricky thing: it smelt and even tasted a bit like petrol. I guess some gi would not appreciate that.Stuff is nice.

The place is great and the pizza is delicious. We enjoyed every piece of it! The staff is friendly and the whole atmosphere of the pizzeria is pleasant.

Very nice pizzas, I had take out, but they have 2 restaurant areas on site. The draft beers are also really good. Definitely reccommend.

Really good pizzas. The idea to divide large pizza by two is fantastic. The only disadvantage is music turned off at 10pm, but its not up to restaurant

This is a nice family restaurant. It is good for families and couples. I tried their Ukrainian pizza and I like it. I got small size but it was large and it was enough for me. I paid 230 UAH for pizza and cola.

Love this establishment! Tons on pizzas to choose from and great service. Most Americans will probably want double cheese. The veteran themed cocktails are great and the decor is awesome. Definitely recommend going here if you are in town.

Great service, great food, pizzas are a nice size and not over priced. Tip : take cash with you since their CC machine apparently dont take US cards.

You should absolutely try the Donetsk Sour here! That cocktail contains charcoal and tastes like no other cocktail in the city. The pizza here is nice and quite cheap, especially in comparison to other pizzerias downtown.The pizzeria was created by veterans of the ongoing war with Russia, so you will see a lot of military memorabilia here. The restaurant is rather cozy and the service is usually fast, but in the evenings the place can get easily crowded.

Great start to the evening walked straight in with no booking and managed to get a table. Ordered a half and half pizza and was asked if we wanted recommendations off a friendly waiter. Food arrived and then unfortunately went a bit down hill. Ordered another drink which never arrived. A table arrived during our meal who must have been important as they received all the attention and service. Was told we needed to wait for another member of staff to pay by card. Lovely food and a good price however service halfway through became questionable.

Staff is super friendly and helpful with good English skills. The 4 cheese pizza wasn’t as great. It was super oily. Like, actually drenched in oil.

Tasty pizzas, good beer (not a lot of choice, but it was fresh, cold and clean), lovely waiting staff and a good atmosphere. Since it was a hot evening, I was sitting outside, so cant say much about the atmosphere in colder times. But the summer terrace is lovely!!

I almost wept with joy upon eating their pizza. The Ukranian and the Diablo pizzas were everything I didnt know I was searching for. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The crust under the pizza is very thin, so it balances nicely with the fillings, and around the edge is light and fluffy. We need to start a campaign to get them to offer their pizza sauce for dipping, though. I really dont think I will be able to order just any pizza again. It will take ages to find another restaurant to compare.

The worst pizza I ate in Kyiv by far.I ordered their special Oduvanchik and Margherita to try how they make both tomato and white sauce versions. Oduvanchik had extra dry meat in it with mushrooms that were barely cooked. Margherita was prepared with the cheapest cheese, dry herbs instead of fresh basil and store-bought tart tomato paste instead of tomato sauce. Dinner was totally ruined.

I fell in love with Veteranos pizza! The best feature is the concept and decoration of course, with actual war pictures and items from Ukraine veterans who started the whole project, and a huge wooden assault rifle on the entrance wall. It was delicious and with fresh ingredients. The service was also great, the waiter was smiling, could communicate perfectly in English and was quick to help us with everything. Very good prices, free WiFi, so I dont know what else I can really say about the place. Easily a 5/5

We came here because of the 2500+ reviews, but honestly it was just average. Not bad, not great. Just ok. Maybe its because my husband and I have had so many amazing pizzas during our travels. The sauce was too sweet and it just didnt taste very Italian. Maybe this is the Ukrainian way of making pizza, but it wasnt great. The service was very friendly though.

Amazing pizza, great limonade drinks and the homemade ice cream is just out of this world. A great experience in general for an affordable price. Highly recommend

Best pizza in the city made by UA veterans! Delicious thin base with the just right amount of toppings. Also interesting thematic cocktails, as soon as nice some classic ones. Simple but well thought out interior.

I went there by a recommendation of an Ukrainian that Ive met in the street. The pizza is great and so is the service. It adds more to it when you know youre helping the veterans of the war in East Ukraine. Definitely worth your time. Plus, its not expensive at all. I highly recommend it and will be going back before I live the city.

My favorite pizza place in Kyiv. Pizza with four cheeses is good. And salmon pizza is special.
