Jet Miners in Middlesbrough

This is a cute little venue. First time I’ve ever been today on the recommendation of a friend. The menu was cute, very classic British pub selection. The staff were lovely and polite. It was a tad chilly in there despite the fire being on.I ordered a parmo because no one warned me about the portion sizes. The plate was VERY generous and that’s coming from a big guy! I’m sad to say that the parmo itself was very tasteless. The chicken was cooked to perfection but the topping had no taste at all, the bechamel tasted of nothing. The cheese tasted of nothing. The end result was a very tasteless Parmo. The chips however were amazing. As was the side salad. I had to ask for garlic sauce to try and get some flavour on the chicken but that too was tasteless. That’s the only reason for the four stars. My friends meal looked and tasted amazing (rosti burger). I think I’ll just order something else next time.Will visit again. Price is very reasonable considering the portion sizes.

Took us in at short notice, great food, friendly staff.

A traditional English pub that has been massively extended and has become dominated by food. Two real ales from Timothy Taylor no real cider. Food well presented and well cooked with good portions. Prices were typical.A striking feature was how glum the 2 young waitresses were. The larger one managed a smile after one and a half hours but the smaller one didnt. Scope for staff training.

Staff are so friendly and attentive. The food is amazing with very generous portions. We get to come here every now and again when visiting family and have never been disappointed

Lovely night and great food atmosphere only gets a 3 as it was very quiet with one other table in our room but normally its a 5. Definitely recommend this pub restaurant

Great food, fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. Good selection of wines and ales and the prices are fair for the quality - not cheap but not too expensive and you will certainly feel you got value for money as the quality is very high. Good idea to book well in advance at busy times.

Fantastic meal! Food was great, great portions and flavour! Service was good and the pub itself is a great setting. Bordering on perfect, but they misspelt Lamb on the specials board and put gherkins in the burgers. Who puts gherkins on a plate of food! Lol.Seriously though would highly recommend, worth the price!

Used to have meals here prior to covid. Last time was February 2020. Went today for Sunday lunch. It was packed to the gunnels. Had the pork carvery and the whole dish was extremely tasty. The pork was moist and succulent and the vegetables varied, tasty and well cooked. The gravy was real made from the meat juices. The staff were first class and the carvery server was extremely helpful. Definitely highly recommended. 73 years old and eaten out thousands of times I dont give reviews often but I do know my food.

After only just being diagnosed as coeliac, I always worry about food and eating out but come across this lovely restaurant.The staff were lovely and assured me about the gluten free options available. They have an extensive gluten free menu with most of the ‘normal’ menu able to be adapted to be gluten free.My family all had ‘normal’ meals and everyone enjoyed their food very much

Food generally very good. Bench seats outside pretty uncomfortable. Brownie got a thumbs down. Too dry and unpleasant. Rhubarb gin tasted and smelt like bubblegum!

I are the lamb, delightful melt in the mouth, the ribs looked good too. Sadly the brownie was dry and not very fantastic but the sticky toffee pud was excellent.

First time visiting was great. Huge portions, great staff, polite, friendly warm and welcoming and great priced too. Lovely terrace and natural rustic old pub worldly inside.

Food is second to none. Nothing is too much for the staff. If you havent tried yet its a must 😋

In the idyllic village of great broughton stands the beautifully eloquent Jet Miners public house. 😀 An absolutely fantastic venue to take your loved one for a romantic evening out the back. The food is of the very best standard, in fact the very best in THE UK. The service is second to none. 500% feedback. Well done!!!

Fantastic food and great service. Portions are huge so that needs to be taken into consideration if you are a light eater :-outdoor eating options available, we ate inside and was plenty of space between tables for anyone with a concern about that ;-overall a fantastic experience.

Great meal tonight, Hot Shot parmo was excellent well cooked and perfect heat from the chillis. My wife had the Ribs which were amazing, huge plate full which she was unable to finish

Absolutely fabulous!!! I had pork belly which was out of this world, but if i had known the roast beef was served pink, i would have gone for that.My husband could not get enough of it and there was plenty on the plate!!Calamaro for starters, the most tender i have had in a very long time!!!Pudding was sticky toffee, my husbands all time favourite pudding and it did not disappoint!!!Service was first class!!!!

Amazing service, quality, price and menu

Me and my girlfriend came all the way from the Netherlands to have an evening meal here. Absolutely fantastic food, fillet steak cooked to perfection, best chips ive ever had and extremely polite staff. Prices are very reasonable and could probably even get away with a little more for the quality.

Superb new menu. Plenty of choice enough to satisfy carnivores, vegetarians and pescatarians!!Well prepared and presented plates.Excellent staff and service -- exceptionally good as it was a very busy evening in the restaurant.We will be back.

I love this place. It was the first place I ever got served alcohol, when I was around 14, over 40 years ago. It has been modernised over the years and is a great place for food, drinking and parties. There is a decent kids play area outside, bar / restaurant areas and a snug bar with pool table which should be an adult only drinking area in my humble opinion, there should be at least one room in every pub kept off-limits to children. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Lively, friendly atmosphere, tasty food, cheerful bar staff! Great for a casual night out.
