DONT RENT HERE.they upped my rent 8% in one year, things are constantly broken in suites, the hallways are filthy, the public spaces are run down and they attempted to charge me to clean their own carpets in the hallway!!Run, run for your life. Youd be better off living under a bridge then to rent from them!

I just moved in to 60 Whellams Lane and I can honestly say, this has been the most amazing experience.The staff in the management office are incredibly responsive and professional. The maintenance staff are out of this world.If you are looking to move, this is the best place in the world.My transition from a home for over 25 years to an apartment has been seamless.This felt like truly coming home. Thank you to the amazing staff.

Ive been living in this building more almost 2 years now and always had excellent service by Management. Just moved to a different apartment in same building. Michelle and Shelly from leasing office made the process so much easier and had excellent service.

I lived at Edgewood Estates for a year and loved it! Shelly and Michelle in the leasing office were fantastic and were so helpful when I tried to sublet my apartment. Amanda in the office was so friendly and helpful when ever I needed something fixed or had questions. Any repairs in my apartment were dealt with so quickly. Honestly… I have nothing bad to say about this place!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!From the first moment of contact, all the way through up till moving day, and even after, everything has been incredible.Amanda in the office is so quick and helpful to answer any concerns or questions.From the first time meeting, Amanda immediately made me feel welcomed, and at home even before moving in.Our new home is everything and more that we could have asked for, and the girls in the office are always there if you need anything.Definitely the best moving experience I have ever gone through and will highly recommend the Edgewood Estates property to anyone who is looking for their new home.

I am on dialysis, the Edgewood management was great installing my dialysis machine. The people in all 3 aptments 50,60,70 are the nicest people ever i give the Edgewood staff thumbs up and 5 stars. There are so so many apts that turned me away because of my dialysis, but Edgewood staff was great .

Good day. Just to let you know we have been here 3 plus years. Every building has its quirks. Just wanted to say there is a wonderful and dedicated staff at Edgewood Estates from the always helpful office staff to the exceptional cleaning staff and always on hand maintenance staff along with a quirky but friendly shuttle driver.An example of some of the amenities is a monthly calendar which highlights exercise programs and outings such as shopping malls and restaurants. A new on site restaurant is coming on line in the near future. There are other amenities on site as well.

The office staff at Edgewood Estates are absolutely amazing. Both Michelle and Shelley were so helpful and patient throughout multiple interactions. They turned a difficult and stressful time into a very positive experience. I am so grateful to these two awesome individuals!

I would be remiss if I did not mention the skills that Mark brings to his "he-can-fix-just-about-anything" in his apartment maintenance work. One of the joys of apartment living is that a renter does not have to call in an outside service technician. In 50 Block, Mark handles just about every problem, and does each quickly and properly. Dishwashers are NOT part of his work, simply because Edgewood has its own appliance repair person. He can identify the issue, however, and then put in the call. Hes busy with some 200 suites under his watch, as well as"other duties as assigned." That he uses an electric scooter from time-to-time shows an innovative approach to the old problem of getting him and his ever-present toolbelt "there" as quickly as possible. Another five star rating for this Edgewood estate staff member.

Quiet, clean buildings. Staff is awesome. Maintenance issues are fixed instantly. Great amenities. Highly reccomend!

We moved in a week ago and this is the best move we could have made. Michelle and Shelley from the leasing office have been fantastic, always going above and beyond to make sure our move-in experience was the best it could be. They are extremely friendly and helpful. So far we have only met a few people from the Admin and Maintenance staff, but all staff here seem to really enjoy their jobs. This is very nice to see. The cleaning staff do an excellent job keeping the building clean and the grounds are immaculate. Now that we are almost settled in our lovely 2 bedroom apartment, we cant wait to go explore the grounds and surroundings especially the River Walkways. Also, is an easy walk to Kildonan Park. We love all the amenities here like the underground heated parking, outdoor pool, shuttle, hair salon and many, many more. If youre looking for a place where you can really feel at home, this is it. The management here is awesome!

Shelley and Michelle are absolutely wonderful and helpful, and they genuinely care about the tenants. As a first time renter, I had a lot of questions while choosing my suite and after moving in. Shelley has gone above and beyond to answer my questions, ensure I was comfortable, and address any concerns I had. Not only this, but the building itself is beautiful, clean, with great appliances, and absolutely amazing views!

First and foremost I just wanted to thank shelley and Michelle for going above and beyond into finding me a place in such short notice! these ladies are beyond amazing and I cant thank them enough for the continuous hospitality they have shown me. 60 whellams lane is a great building filled with such nice residents and the amenities are spectacular! I would recommend this place for anyone! THANK YOU SO MUCH SHELLEY AND MICHELLE FOR MAKING MY NEW HOME A WONDERFUL ONE! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING !!

Beyond the beautiful neighbourhood surroundings and my lovely suite, the icing on the cake is the incredible "dream team" Michelle, Shelley, Debbie and Christine (who work in the leasing/management offices)These beautiful women are warm and genuinely caring. When it comes to accommodating your personal needs and concerns they go the extra mile. They want to insure that youre living here becomes a wonderful experience. I have recently had the pleasure of dealing with the leasing and management offices at Edgewood Estates. I cannot say enough great things about the experience. Shelley and Michelle in the leasing office have been patient in answering my relentless questions and the manager Christine is reasonable in accommodating many requests that I brought her way. There are many amenities at Edgewood such as pool, gym, underground heated parking, shuttle, and many more etc. The buildings are quiet and clean. Many suites have been renovated and can be rented for a reasonable price. With the gorgeous views of the river and downtown Winnipeg in the distance, I would not want to live anywhere else. I am thankful that these ladies have taken the care they have with my move and they deserve an excellent review!

Edgewood Estates is the friendliest apartment block I’ve had the pleasure of being in contact with. Shelley and Michelle are miracle workers and are always there to answer ANY question(syou have! My partner and I are SO excited to be moving in and we’ve definitely made two new friends in Shelley and Michelle! Dream team I tell ya! Couldn’t of asked for anyone better!!

We lived here for many years about 20 and loved it. We decided to move into a house for 10 years and then we loved back to another apartment for 5 years. But it never felt like home. So we called up Shelley Larsen at Edgewood and wanted to see a 2 bedroom apt....Shelley was amazing....she was as excited as we were looking at apts. So friendly and professional. She had us all booked into a new apt quickly and effortlessly.....Anyone who is interested in looking at Edgewood Estates, go see Shelley Larsen....shes fantastic!!! Thanks so much Shelley ❤

I recently moved in, and am loving it so far!! The management team is super kind, and very helpful. The apartments themselves are very nice, and all the other residents are very friendly.

I have been living here for almost 2 years and I am pleased with my apartment. It offers great amenities. The shuttle service is a big plus for me; I would give 6 stars for that. There have been changes in staff since I moved in but I find all staff members courteous, friendly, helpful and open to our suggestions. Building is kept very clean. I read the negative reviews and I was quite surprised. I do give staff and the accomodations a HUGE 5 star.

We have lived in the 70 block for about four years, and love our apartment and the quiet building. We enjoy the amenities like the fitness centre and pool and look forward to seeing the potentially new restaurant in the future. During the current Covid 19 pandemic, the management took quick action and put the tenants health and safety as the priority, we appreciated that hard decisions needed to be made. Christine and her team are professional, friendly and committed to making Edgewood a great place to live.

Lived with my family in 50 Whellams lane for a year. Building is well designed and we did not have any problems with heating system, hardly even used it, only over the night. However found lots of inconveniences. Management helps you and supports until you let them know you move out.... It completely changes their attitude.They have only two elevators (that brakes from time to timefor the whole 14 storey building and that is a problem and you may wait in a line to get there for 30 min. You can be easily charged on $1500 due to some wall patching in the living room (TV wall mountand some scratches in the other bedroom as they will repaint whole suite. Would not recommend this place.

I love living here . My suite is newly renovated with lots of room and extra storage I have a full walk in closet in my bedroom and a full extra storage room in suite. Balcony is large lots of room for bbq. Table and chairs and still extra space . Mgmt has been great any issue have been resolved quickly and I almost never hear my neighbors . The view is amazing . Have never been happier in any other apt I have lived .

Terrible leasing management company . Tells fibs on signup that are totally without basis. Security 24/7 was promised to my uncle Moe Brown . Yet recently the district manager eliminated security after 10 pm Its downright dangerous in the evening to go out . Worse is that there is no security into the parking garage . The door hangs for a minute after a car clears. Anyone can sneak into the building this way - especially at night when there is no video security coverage . A person can walk in the door hang around the garage and mug you when you get out of your car. Snow clearing is good yet little else especially security at night times.

I am living at 50 Whellams Lane and I will tell you my experience about this apartment. Even though my building is brand new, but NO HEAT in my small bed room. How cold I am and got sick 2 weeks. Also, I had a terrible moving experience on the first day. I paid for my parking spot, but someone parked on my spot over the weekend. I had to go around and parked somewhere until the next Monday, and NO elevator support to my moving at all since someone used the elevator to another floor. Regarding my heat, I have contacted to the management since Sept 26, 2018 (17 days from now), no one contacted to me if I did not ask, I have to contact and chase them down. The sentence I usually received from them " I DONT KNOW". who know then??? and then, they said there will be a maintenance guide come down to check my apartment, NO ONE come at all and my relatives had to stay at home to wait them. NO phone call if they cant make it. UNPROFESSIONAL management when they called " LUXURY apartment". Not recommend 50 Whellams Lane to everyone.

Very old& run down more up grade to apts , for the rate rent I pay should at least up date water faucets new balcony doors . Freeze all winter

I like this place. Has lots of nice amenities. I live here and it is a great friendly place to live. Building 2 new blocks on site and will have city transit right on the property now. We have a restaurant and hair dresser on site. Shuttle bus takes to mall lunches out and casinos . Also have other away trips to the horse racing. Super nice staff and tenants

It is a fabulous apartment with lots of amenities I sure hope I can get a apartment. For the end of July.

Rent is high and none of the apartments have a view anymore now that they built new ones wish I didnt waste my time coming to see them
