Jerusalem Gold Hotel in Jerusalem
Description
Bad cleaning, bad rooms condition. Only one was wonderful - catering. Always delicious. When my key broke, it was neccessary to wait long time before receptionist will serve 3 person (it takes much more time than replacing key)Would like to suggest working with room cleaning
MoreA pretty good hotel, but with a few issues. The biggest is noise. The hotel gets a lot of Birthright tours staying there and the kids are really loud until weird hours of the night. I literally had a kid singing opera in the hallway outside my door at like 11:00 P.M. Very strange. The service was pretty good, but also had a few issues, such as most of the staff speaking essentially no English despite having so many guests that only speak English themselves. There were also several times when I couldnt find any staff and the front desk seemed abandoned. Every one of the people who actually come to the room for something, such as dropping off bedding and/or towels or helping with some problem were very helpful and I never had any issues with them. The shower also sprays everywhere all over the entire bathroom.Despite all of that, it was pretty nice overall. The location is amazing, with very quick access to the Central Bus Station, the shops in the bus station, and the light rail and train stations right behind it. The service was generally very prompt and pretty friendly, and they even put a mattress on top of of the fold-out couch bed without having to ask for it, which was quite impressive. Overall, a pretty decent hotel for a good price in a great location.
