No accessibility for handicaps. We come with big luggage, the security guy in the gate light his cigarette and laugh at us how we struggle to lift them. The room is awful, thro the Balcony we see the trush from the other hotel next door.

Do not come here. The place is an active construction site, and you will get woken up at 6 am to the sound of power tools. In addition, the air conditioning in the rooms is broken, which leaves the temperature at degrees of 78+. The food options for breakfast and dinner are extremely limited, and I would reccomend that you eat elsewhere. Lastly, when I arrived to the hotel, the rooms were left filthy, and there were stains on the sheets.

A beautiful day in Jerusalem will always be ruined by coming back to broken air conditioning and lights, wet towels, grumpy management and a broken key card. Stay away in order to truly enjoy your stay.

Keep away like the plague! The room is tiny, management is extremely unkind and disagreeable. We have had to wait over 3 days just to get towels, complaining many times at the front desk. The manager was very rude and sent us back to our room with no towels. Jerusalem is an amazing city. Please do not ruin your experience by staying at this hotel.

Various factors just to for-warn other disabled people ensure the hotel has your disability needs in advance. They are not accessible and do not understand that it is disability discrimination to tell you to walk to the dustbin area at back at hotel and come through the tradesman/ staff entrance. This is not okay in 2022. The staff and management need customer care training in how to deal with complaints and de-escalate a situation rather then antagonise them and make them more angry as a result. When a disabled person asks for help it is not okay and is discrimination to say to them “I’m not your slave”.

I was there for a Shabbat sheva brachot for my brother. We were about 40 people in all. The hotel itself was nice, great, central location and good accommodations, but what really stood out to me was the incredible attention the waiters and head waiter gave us. We had a problem with the space they had given us for eating, and once I explained the situation to the waiters and the head waiter, they listened and it was obvious that they really cared and wanted to solve the problem. They fell over themselves to help and solve the issue (which was a considerably issue), ultimately giving themselves more work by making sure we had the best possible solution. I have never seen such great wait staff in all my time in Israel, including at more exclusive hotels. It was really something else and I highly recommend this hotel for all your family events.

Our room was filthy - dirty dishes and towels and stains on the sheets. The carpet felt waxy and Im glad I brought my own slippers so I didnt have to feel it. The heating did not work so we woke up and it was as cold as outside - about 5 degrees. I went to sleep with a sweater and a sweatshirt and still woke up cold. There is no insulation in the room so the noise from the street and the other heaters was very loud. Overall it was a really unfortunate experience, though the staff was nice and breakfast was good.

In the photos, the hotel looks much better than the condition in which it really is (the cellphone did a good job/the photos were not edited). The lobby looks great, but they need to improve the cleanliness (they were vacuuming, but forgot to clean some tables and counters that were dusty and dirty)The rooms were very clean, but they look very old fashioned with old furniture. The dinner area looks ok. The elevators are slow and small. The service is very weak (many times we asked for help with different things and they ended up ignoring our requests). In addition the room cards stopped working properly a few times. Maybe these things happened because we were in a group of people, but that shouldn’t be an excuse.

Good hotel with good rooms, only thing is that I had to sleep on a cot because I was the last one in the room and there was only 2 beds and one cot. During my stay I broke my cot and told them 5 times and then finally went down with an Israeli where two guys then quickly gave me a new cot to sleep on. Everything was good except that.

We arrived to the chaotic hotel and dropped our luggage, they asked us to put the luggage into storage ourselves and told us to put the bags anywhere (no tags and no sense of security). The lady on the counter was seemingly eating her lunch but this was something most of the receptionists did - aside from the moody man who we met when trying to resolve the water problem with our bath that was splirting our dirty water! The bedroom was a whole different experience - you get that nostalgic walking into the past feeling - open the door to the rated room - check the bedding and find a dead insect and a few other marks and you decide there is no point complaining (based on the fact that the staff seem totally unhelpful). It was my husbands first experience of Israel - a bad one - I don’t recommend this hotel but if you stay there be prepared for children screaming, customers shouting and a good looking but low in taste breakfast!

Horrible experience, just awful! If the pictures shown in their ads existed, the 52 of us who was on this pilgrimage, did not see those rooms. Our rooms very filthy, bathrooms gross, linens on beds not clean and the staffs were extremely rude and disrespectful. No one should be treated the way were treated. Just unacceptable! Tourism is Israel # one source of income, just horrible!

One of my worst experiences. Not only is everything old and lousy, also are the doors not sealing properly and hence you hear everything happening on the floors, like doors banging... This is the first hotel I was not able to sleep in, due to the noise of other guests. Even after changing rooms the problem remained as you cannot prevent people from closing their doors.

Had a very good Passover experience. The food was good and plentiful. The food was presented buffet style. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The elevators were inadequate for the demand. That was probably due to the fact that it was filled to capacity. Although it was full there was plenty of everything including hot water. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a decent hotel which complies with the highest kosher dietary requirements.

Hotel is in a great location, however, its a very busy corner and theres lots of noise in the room, not so bad at night. The rooms are very old and need updating. They leave coffee in the room, you could see that no one put more coffee, tea, sugar in the supply. The price was good and included breakfast. Personally, I would not stay there again, stayed for one night and felt that its very old and shabby and the halls had a weird smell, it was possibly some sort of cleaning liquid smell.

I had my wedding here and everything went so smooth. It was a really enjoyable wedding. The staff from the hotel were there with me every step of the way and really made sure we had everything we wanted. The food was outstanding. A lot better than most weddings I have been to in israel. The venue itself is a bit outdated but still stunning. We really had a great time.

The Jerusalem Gardens is in a fantastic location, only 2 minutes walk from a tram (light railstop. The tram is about 6 shekels for a journey; its one stop to the central bus station, three stops to mehane yehuda and about five stops to the old city (jaffa gate via the city hall stop). The hotel itself has excellent and friendly staff; check in was smooth and efficient, the room was cleaned and the staff were friendly and so helpful and really went out of their way. When we had a small problem with the electrics in our room it was immediately sorted. The only negative is that the hotel is a little tired; it could do with some painting/new furniture etc in places. That said, the hotel is excellent value and gave us everything we needed in easy reach of the main sights of Jerusalem.

On the plus side, its an affordable hotel in an ok location with mehadrin kashrut. This review is based on two visits over the last three years. However, you get the feeling that nobody there cares about you, about the hotel or about the business.- The front desk is poorly staffed. On there occasions, there is no one there and we had to wait twenty minutes. The staff was far from pleasant and accommodating.- The rooms and hallways are dark and dated. Bathrooms are clean, but everything could use more than a fresh coat of paint. Signs of water damage in many areas.- The spread at meals is a bit too casuala bit of work on presentation can go a long way. For example, breakfast was more or less dumped by the kitchen staff. I didnt realize they even had an egg station until I was leaving, because its situated outside the dining area, not visible to patrons and there was no sign or wait staff. But when we checked it out, the station looked like it could really use a thorough cleaning.- The pool is heated, but requires you to walk outdoors to get there, which is an odd choice for the winter. You also share the pool with a local health club, so its not hotel guests but local families and the eldely who use it. Again, just odd for a hotel.- Parking is spotty. When they run out spots, they direct you to a side lot, which is also used for deliveries and building maintenance, so you may have to wait a while to be able to leave.- The shabbat elevator kept breaking. They honestly didnt care and were annoyed when we pointed it out.- The front desk told us there is a minyan every week for shabbat on the premises. This just isnt true.

This hotel is in need of renovation. But everything else is top notch. There is an outdoor pool, an indoor pool and a fitness centre. There is also a first-rate restaurant on the top floor with excellent food and a stunning view. I would definitely come here again.

Terrible reception. Unable to reach staff in times of need; after multiple requests for housekeeping after one of us got food poisoning from the hotel they claimed they came but never did. We just asked for more toilet paper and the receptionist simply replied with "no." I do not recommend booking a visit with this hotel.

Its a nice hotel for Israel, but falls short of most American standards. The ATM in the lobby will only give you shekels, which isnt necessarily an issue, but is a thing. The beds are incredibly narrow, something that seems to be consistent across all of Israel. The thing that really gets me are the weddings. In 3 nights of staying here, there have been 3 weddings celebrated by the pool. So if your room is facing the outdoor pool, you wont be able to sleep until the music stops usually sometime around 11 pm. My room is on the 7th floor (which is actually the 8th because rooms start in floor 0and the music from the weddings are extremely loud all the way up there. If you plan to be out on the town or at the bar until late, the noise wont be an issue. But dont bring your family here expecting to put the kids to bed by 9.One more thing, this hotel is a 5 minute walk from a train station, which makes it extremely easy to get to shops, restaurants, and pubs .

Here is why I rate this hotel with 2 stars:1.Yesterday we had one towel and took 1.5 hours to get another towel.2.Today we had NO towels in a few of our rooms. Didnt took so long to get new towels.3.Front desk Hardly ever answer the phone and they dont give you the feeling like they care.3.Over all the hotel is not in great shape.4.We had tv issues in two of our rooms, one took a day to fix and the other was fixed fast.5.Breakfast buffet is OK, other wise it would have been one star.We have 2 more nights here. Not great!Originally this was a 2 star review but I changed it to 3 just due to the Gaurd at the entrance. The guy with the short beard and the Yamaka is the nicest more considering person I have met in a long time.

Very nice place to go out. We went out for a wonderful meal. The food is wonderful and the service is very good as well. They were however locking and a couple of things on the menu. However , the things that they replaced them with were quite good. The portions were quite generous. And even the bar staff was very attentive to our every need. I would definitely go back again. The view of Jerusalem is incredible. You are 16 floors up and get quite an amazing view either by day or by night.

This was not the most pleasant atmosphere Staff not very friendly. Rooms very small. If anyone is looking for a swimming pool this hotel would not work for you even though they advertise a nice pool. It was not clean looks like it is hardly used. Collected our dirty towels did not leave clean ones. Asked for towels came back to the room later that night and still had no towels. Hope this helps someone else to avoid staing here if you dont have to. The one thing I would say is that the breakfast buffet was good.
