Jerry Siegel's House - Museum in East Cleveland, United States
Just to see this house and know that the man who created SuperMan had humble beginnings.
Well maintained home in a rough neighborhood.
Did a drive through at night to take some photos while listening to the theme music from the movie. Cool plaque outside to read and commemorate.
GREAT FOOD!!!
Its a fun place yo visit but do it in the day, not a great neighborhood.
Being a big fan of Superman I loved it. The owners of the house put a commemorative plaque honering the home of Jerry Siegel while creating the superhero Superman.
great
Home of superman. Not in a good area go during the day. Cant go inside home.
Who knew that Superman lived so close when we lived on Barrett Avenue. Now our building is gone, as is the elementary school, OW Holmes - the Uptown and Doan movie theaters, too - gone.Time marches on - but not always in good ways. No global warming, eh. Anti-Semitism continues to grow in spite of the fact that the creator of Superman was a Jew!! - as was Jesus, for those who choose to forget.
Exceptional
Great! Superman and all that was inspired was literally born in the mans head at this place.
Super house
In a cruddy neighborhood. Less than safe. Its a house. Nobody appreciates it. Cant go in. Fans of any superhero should understand this is a very important piece of history. The birthplace of all superheroes. Dont get killed
Wish I was able to go inside
Pretty cool.
Just the birthplace, but if you were a Superman f as n, a must see
Superbad area for Supermans birthplace.Too bad you couldnt fly around the world like Superman can and stop the clock and go back in time to a better neighborhood(like around WWII).Do not go into this area after dark unless you have some Superman strengths to protect yourself.
I live next to that
Love this Super house!
Great piece of Cleveland history in a very dangerous part of town. Drive by to see but do not stop.
A very nice place to go see
We love the vistors...We welcome all...
Sweet family and very open to visitors coming in and seeing the place. Fanny and her family are welcoming and will give you a great tour!
So cool
I live here.....
What a great piece of history for Cleveland
The owners bought the place in 1983, and found out it was the birthplace of Jerry Seigel in 1985. Theyve had visitors from around the world every single day since. Great people.
The area is run down. Nice decorations on the house, but not worth a trip to see it.
Superman 🔯
Needs A.C. in the summer but Mr Jefferson was a treat.
Very gracious hostess
Wow
History
Not much to see. Good for a picture or two.
Interesting place, the neighbors are very nice
Who doesnt love superman? It was part of everyones childhood. International status, and it all started right here in Cleveland!!
Worth checking out a piece of Cleveland history. Someone said it was not in a nice neighborhood. What do you expect from 1933 to the 21st cent.? If you are a big Superman fan and a bigger lover of Cleveland, it is a great place to visit. It used to be someones home (Jerry SeigelsJust feel the Superman energy/ :o)
Alright so after hearing from just about every clevelander, that Supermans from Cleveland. I just looked up what the big deal was. Turns out this house was the house of the superman originator.Just to let yall know this place is in the middle of the hood. It sort of just looks like any other house but with wierd decorations. Didnt see any thing around about hours of operation or tours available. So I just looked from the outside.VHD
