Jeremiah's Pub - Bar in Ketchikan, United States
Really enjoyed eating here, have had most things on menu not disappointed.Comfortable environment friendly people.
Went a few times, and the service was never really friendly or very attentive. I sit at the bar typically, and once I actually sat down and waited 15 minutes at the not very busy bar and just left, because Im not going to wave or yell at a bartender. If youre okay with subpar service, the place is okay. Food was decent.
Very clean, and friendly people
If you have a lot of time for not so great food this is the place. 30 minutes to get my food order taken. Medium rare steak was well done. Server spent more time talking to friends than taking care of customer. Didn’t know the soup of the day, said she would find out and never did and I didn’t get any soup. Said she would get me butter for my roll. Never did. Almost two hours just to get food and eat it and it wasn’t that good. Other servers looked much more efficient so I just seemed to be one of the unlucky ones.
My family and I have been there many times. They have really good food and the service is great too.Best chicken fried steak on the island!!!
Food and service was great.
Went twice while staying at the Landing Hotel. Service was slow but you can tell they are short staffed. The wait staff was very kind and attentive given their situation. Food and drinks were enjoyable!
One year later...follow up review, nothing has changed...Very nice people and pretty good food, but make sure you have a full hour to sit and eat. Server was very nice, but forgot many things and wasnt around to refill drinks very often.
The food at Jeremiah’s was very good, however the waitstaff could use some customer service coaching. Our party started at the bar and moved to a table. I was drinking a Coke. After we were sitting, there was no waitstaff in sight so I got up to get a Coke refill at the bar. At this point, Sue arrived at the table and proceeded to lecture me on how rude I was in going to the bar to get a refill.Rude? Over the potential tip on a $2 drink? As a visitor to Alaska, and a generous tipper, I sure did not appreciate the lecture. She would not work in my company!
Great food and service. Enjoyed it alot.
Its a great restaurant in the hotel The Landing hotel in Ketchikan, it is open until 10 PM and offers great selection of food including Pizzas and Burgers.Waiting staff were super accomodating and ambience was very nice.Location wise its very strategically located opposite the Airport and not to far from cruise terminal.Everyone at the hotel are friendly and certainly highly recommended.
I would give zero stars if I could. Sat outside and waited for 15+ minutes and she waitress (Lauraproceeded to serve people that came in after us. I walked in and asked what I needed to do to get service. She came outside and tossed some silverware down and said “drinks?”. We asked for a cocktail menu. She came back, threw the menu on the table and walked away and slammed the door to the patio closed. That was previously open. Very unfortunate because we were really looking forward to this dinner
Had a terrible experience. The waitress was extremely slow, didnt refill water, was snobby, and would stand at the bar and chat. There were only a couple of other people there in the restaurant, so they were not slammed. We had to literally get up and ask her for the check and go and ask her for my change. I just moved here and will not be returning.
Excellent food and great view, friendly atmosphere
Liked it very muchNice people, really good food and a lot of food choices
Really good serviceReally good foodNice place to sit and relax
Great service, friendly staff, and my meal was also great.
Great food!, Friendly staff, fast service and a view!!
Worst steak ever. Buy a bag of jerky instead. Cooked all of the flavor out of the rib eye. I took 4 bites, still paid for the meal. No concession offered. Good service, I tipped the server.
Decent food, although smallish portions of fish for the price. We sat immediately, but experienced long wait times for service (35-40 minswe almost walked out. Both the appetizer and main food came out together (~15 and 20 minsafter ordering. The artichoke dip was really good. Bar drinks were quick and good. We were here for 1hr and 25 mins, maybe 20 of which were eating. They did seem to have a large party in a private room.Service speed needs a pick-me-up espresso shot.Pretty views, near the airport.
Servers always seem under staffed but are always pleasant. Drinks are good and not terribly priced. Food is.....food. elEvery time weve come here its been a bit disappointing. Cook to temp meats usually over done like, steaks on steak salad. The seafood has been overcooked as well. Servers do their best to make it right. We generally stick to The Landing if were going to eat in the building.
We ate here twice during a fishing trip to Craig, AK, once on the way in and once on the way out. It is located inside The Landing hotel where we were staying which made it very convenient. The food was excellent, and the portions are very generous. The staff was friendly and over all we just had a great time here. Looking forward to returning some day.
Decent food. Sundays are ultra busy. I like their salads and burgers 🍔. Sliders are a little sad. Go for the real deal, regular size burgers. Kitchen always clean but cooks does not wear gloves. You can see it for yourself any moment since the kitchen area is clear to the consumers. Anybody with food service manager/handler certification there? Who knows...Happy they offer happy hour. The rest of Alaska places, where they sell alcohol, they dont believe in happy hours. Good job Jeremiahs!
Ive eaten here twice and the food was good both times. Now comes the improvements, the waitresses are nice ill say that but they do need to be a bit more professional and focused. The majority of the waitresses are young so they need to work on staying on focus and not mess around so much. My other complaint is the wait was much too long.
Good steak, nice waitress, even though she asked "how did I want my salad cooked" almost fell out of my chapter.
Service was good (hence the 3 stars). Very disappointed in the food. We had spaghetti and for 18.99 a plate you would think the meatballs would have been homemade. They were an Acme frozen brand, very spongy tasting with fillers. The garlic bread was paper thin. The salad we had was supposed to have chicken breast, instead had a deep fried heavily breaded chicken cutlet product. Prices were high and quality wasnt there.
Stopped by in Ketchikan on the ferry and decided to go here for lunch. I was eager for a refreshing margarita. I was seated at a booth and was given a glass of water and menus. I was told a server was going to take my order shortly. Almost an hour later and servers were still passing by without a word. I then noticed that the glass of water they gave me still had lipstick on it. I wasn’t wearing any lipstick. That was the last thread. So I left without ordering and informed the manager that their service and cleanliness practices in the middle of a pandemic are unacceptable.
Jeremiahs has a wonderful lunch and dinner menu....it also has a bar, but Ive never had a cocktail here.
Really good food service from our waiter Vance was excellent good job to the chefs 18 people to serve and it was awesome
Whenever I visit Ketchikan, its usually just for a few hours while I wait for a plane or ferry. Have spent hours at The Landing (Jeremiahsa few times and will definitely be back. Friendly, understanding staff and delicious food! Literally across the street from the IFA Terminal so if youre passing through and need an easy detour, look no further.
We had a large group with a lot of young kids. The service was great! The food was yummy as always. My adult son said the " Jeremiah wrap" was one of the best wraps hes had.
The service is great! The atmosphere is good more of a dinner style with a bar. The food was really good with lots of selections and you can get the whole menu all day.
Dining w good company makes the meal more enjoyable but the food is so delicious that it almost steals the show.I highly recommend.
Nice dining facility in the Landing Hotel in Ketchikan, Alaska. One of to rating facilities there. Good food, nice Staff, great views out towards Alaska Marine Ferry landing docks across the street. Pleasant atmosphere. Coupon available for breakfast with your room at Hotel.
Love the atmosphere, very clean, and great customer service! Totally addicted to the chicken ceaser wrap with sweet potato fries! This is a great resturant to go to and they have all types of cuisine that all are pretty good!
We have loved this place for years. Some servers need some re direction, however there are a couple that make the experience so much more fun and enjoyable! Christie has been our server multiple times, probably without realizing it. Every single time we are fortunate enough to get her, its simply amazing! Always such an outgoing attitude, and incredibly friendly!! Always suggesting new menu or drink items we havent tried, and going out of her way to make our day just a bit better! The menu itself is pretty decent too. Maybe a bit steep in price, but overall acceptable for what you are getting in meal quality. Also....to the blonde server that has absolutely zero drive to perform at work. Next time you talk trash about your patrons, maybe make sure they CANT HEAR YOU!!!!
Ordered a blackened prime rib Caesar salad... got a Caesar salad and a skimpy prime rib, not blackened, on a plate with a plastic cup of jus sitting on top... pretty meager. Romaine was fresh and crisp, but Caesar dressing had little flavor.
Years ago my national guard unit was up In ketchikan building a road on annette island. Before leaving we stopped in your establishment, food was great, service was great and friendly atmosphere. I will definitely stop in again if I can get back up there.
Nice place, well kept. Clean and staff are friendly, make decent dishes and prices are fair. Make a mean burger most days.
Amazing food and service, very friendly servers and beautiful food.
The best restaurant experience in ketchikan. Had the teriyaki beef wrap and chocolate shake. The wrap left me speechless and the shake was decadent. Would recommend for locals and visitors alike!
Probably the most consistent good food and service in Ketchikan. Portions, quality, price, quantity and atmosphere are right on. If I go out or suggest a place to dine Jeremiahs is always first on my mind .
The bar aside as we dont go to the bar, the restaurant is decent with decent serving sizes...not to small...not to big. Prompt service when we sit down at our tables but have had a couple times that our food took. An ungodly amount of time to get to us. Also they have a "happy hour half price appetizer menu" but they never offer it to us unless we ask...why not just have it out on the tables for customers? Its like a big secret or something.
Had an amazing server who was on top of her tables but I do not like how they do not us the landings menu up there anymore. Not at all a fan of beer battered fries.
The alfredo tasted like water did not even coat the pasta. The kids menu was charged everything separately so her entree then her drink and then her side was all charged separately instead of as it was supposed to be. And my husbands sandwich was so soggy and gross he could not eat it.
This place is a waste of money. Its a convenient location and they even just remodeled inside but their food isnt worth their ridiculous prices. Yes, it is more expensive in Alaska but that doesnt mean charge $17 for a less than mediocre SMALL Ceasar salad... they charged $9.99 for basically a side salad then $6.99 for the blacken chicken on top. Lettuce was wet and the dressing was watered down. Plus, it took forever to get our ordered taken and even longer to get our disappointing food. This place is so overpriced. Do yourself a favor and go to Bar Harbor or Cape Fox... you pay the same price for better food. To top it off I paid the $57 check with $70 cash and the waitress didnt bring me back my change... I had to ask for it! Ill NEVER go back here and I live in Ketchikan so visitors... go elsewhere, trust me!
Jeremiahs service and food were both great, delicious dinner and entertainment for those football fans really makes for an enjoyable night. Very highly recommend this place not only for locals but travelers as well because its close to the ferry terminal and airport.
We had one waiter the whole time and we were a group of about 20. She kept an amazing attitude the whole time! Not to mention the service was pretty fast and the food was delicious. The salmon chowder sour dough bowl is my personal favorite. If I lived there I would go there many times. :)
The newly-remodeled space looks perfect, and the food at Jeremiahs (and at the Landing Restaurant downstairshas always been consistently good. The waitstaff has also always been very friendly and kind, even when its busy.
NOT impressed. I went there for a beer. I had an Alaskan Black IPA, which tasted absolutely awful! I bet they need to clean their taps, in a big way. Their beer is 60% more than the Asylum, at $5.75 / pint. The Asylum charges only $3.50 / pint for the same beer and it tastes WAY better.
