My first time at Jenkins. What a fab bar it is ☺️ We received such a warm welcome and shown to our table. Excellent customer service, cool tunes and such an ambient atmosphere. Shall defo be returning. So worth checking out 😍👍

Our first time here and wasnt disappointed. Very friendly staff and chilled atmosphere.

Fantastic drinks, great service, great night. Thank youOMG another great evening at this place definitely recommend.
Just had a lovely evening here. The staff really looked after us and table service is great!
Lovely atmosphere, great music and polite attentive staff
Great for small groups or a cosy party upstairs.
Great bar, service and atmosphere. Very much recommend 👍😁🍸
Great bar, wonderful staff all round excellent experience would highly recommend. I did however see 2 quite dirty looking delinquents making off with their pineapple shaped glasses without permission.
Truly amazing bar with incredibly kind staff who let me have a fancy pineapple glass! My boring friend was incredibly envious. I think he stole it from me though.
My mate demanded that he take one of their pineapple pina colada glasses home. He has left it at mine. I do intend to return it. Lovely bar, but my friend let down my experience with his behaviour.
Probably the most dog friendly pub/ bar I have ever been to.The owner always seems to be on shift and she is really lovely, friendly, personable and loves the dogs. Also, really nice drinks. Not the cheapest on the high street but I dont think they are trying to compete with the pubs.
Lovely staff, decorations and atmosphere - reasonably priced alternative to town on a Saturday night.
Excellent little bar with a great atmosphere. Drinks are a bit pricey but service is excellent. Only downside is the limited seating.
Really nice atmosphere. Staff lady was really friendly and makes awesome cocktails.Definitely recommend :)
Popped in for afternoon drinks with fellow Nottingham author Nick Archer for a discussion of all things writerly. Great coffee and a few ciders.
The perfect Sunday afternoon treat. Throughout 2020 Ive been impressed with Crimson Trees attitude to innovation and adaptability. Ive had great takeaways in the park, brunch outside with my parents and plenty of coffee and cake. When my friends and I saw that they were teaming up with Jenkins Bar to offer weekend afternoon tea, we knew it would be good and booked straight away. Id never been into Jenkins before and what a wonderful surprise, the decor is lush, decadent but at the same time cosy and welcoming. We were greeted by two lovely members of staff who gave us a tour, including the sun trap garden. We were led to our large table in the window upstairs which was peaceful, with comfy sofas that swallowed us up, perfect for a good Sunday afternoon catch up session. Unlike other afternoon teas Ive been to, the staff at Jenkins allowed us to take our tea at our own pace, starting with our glass of fizz and a cuppa and relaxing before the food. We were never rushed and felt so comfortable the time whizzed by, the service was exactly right, warm, welcoming and attentive but not overly so. What about the food? I hear you cry. Again, the food was even better than expected. The pictures below show a one person portion so go hungry or take a Tupperware with you! I LOVED their Midlands spin on the traditional. Mini Cobs and a slice of the classic Crimson Tree sausage roll were a great alternative to plain old finger sandwiches. Next up portions of some more Crimson Tree Classics, we ordered tea as we moved on to the sweet stuff and it was excellent with lovely plastic free tea bags. I took my brownie home with me, as I was pretty full, but being the perfect kind of fudgey brownie I think it might even have been better with my morning cuppa the next day. The scones were fluffy and light, I ate one there and took the other home. We had one veggie in our party (we let them know when we bookedand her sausage roll was swapped for a little veggie pastry. When we departed with cheery goodbyes from the team, pleasantly full of food, very happy, handbags full of cake we vowed to make a habit of afternoon tea. Honestly I cant think of anywhere as nice to go in the neighbourhood so I think well be back very soon! Thanks guys, keep up the good work!
Lovely decor, drinks price average, 1 slice of cold quiche with a few strands of rocket £7 per slice!! Extortionate ...
Always a beautiful experience, wonderful welcome, gorgeous drinks and sumptuous surroundings. Whats not to love? Nuttin!
Lovely service, excellent prices and every drink was served with a smile.
Love this place..its just like Cheers..feel so comfortable going in here for a drink on my own...
Menu needs more information as just single lines and a price - googled a few drinks. Went on a busy Friday but did get a table and maybe when less busy can ask about offerings. Had two drinks but came to more than price advertised when paid at end. Didnt argue and maybe there is a charge for table service? Its not for us but lots of people happy there and reviews seem good so not not recommending.
Yeah bang on. Good service n staff. Brill evening
What a great place. Super friendly. Great beer and wine selection and the staff and owners are the best in Sherwood.
Owner took time to ask us for feedback and it was all good! Nice interaction & felt appreciated as a customer. Gunpowder plot cocktail does what it says on the tin!!!!!!
Nice little cosy bar, great selection of beers/wines and a small offering of bites to eat. The whole atmosphere is helped by very helpful and friendly staff.
Nice cosy place good wine selection but a bit limited for beer
Attended a wake there. Very attentive staff. Also had drinks there a few weeks ago. Great service x
The best bar in Sherwood. Delicious cocktails, beautiful décor and friendly staff.
Fabulous! Great atmosphere and really lovely and friendly staff. We are lucky to have this fab bar as our local 😁
Comfortable place, nice ambience. Drinks a little higher priced but 10 times better than Sherwood manor on a Friday night x
Enthusiastic staff for this small venue. Good range of spirits and cocktails. Beer selection much less strong.
lovely interior and stunning Italian Prosecco. Service was spot on, and the seats in the window are a must
Great place to go for a drink with friends service is great staff are so friendly. Decor is fantastic, love it.
Great local bar. The owner and staff are lovely, and the cocktails are really nice!
Great little bar in Sherwood, good selection of drinks to keep everyone sweet. The cocktails are great, really nice place to be, theyve got a great atmosphere and youd never know you werent in the city centre!Highly recommended.
Very nice and relaxing environment however I fount the staff to be very pushy in keep asking us about 5 times if we want a drink staight after the first one. Then asked us do we want the bill!! As if they want you out. Its a shame staff needs to work on their customer service.
Great little bar for a chat with freinds and relax. Good staff and good drinks plus snacks
Went on a Thursday night and it got busier while we were there. We loved the deco and table service was a bonus we got very well looked after even had a laugh with them. the vintage glasses the beer arrived in were a nice touch! Have already highly recommended and would come again to try the cocktails
Walked in and he just said “upstairs...... theres a bar upstairs”!!Me:- “why, don’t you want us down here”?Him:- “theres more room up there”There were at least 2 tables and 2 bar stools free!!!Anyway, go’s upstairs and the other bar man says we’re fully booked🤣🤣, there was one couple and 10/12 empty tables🤣.I said we are only staying for 1 as we have a meal booked down the road.He said ok sit anywhere 🤣🤣🤣.So i said what Lagers do you have on draught, he said you have to go downstairs for draught 🤣🤣🤣🤣Anyway, you get my drift???!!!!!Know this :- you’re NOT trendy.
First time visit, last night for a friend birthday. The place looks fabulous and it truly is. Drinks were beautifully put together. The staff were most welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. We had the whole of the upstairs it was fab.. Jenkins a well deserved five stars.Well worth a visit.
New wine and cocktail bar which is a welcome addition to Sherwood’s blooming bar scene.Great list of cocktails, original beers and a nice wine list.Looking forward to testing the full menu over the new few months
First time visit, Saturday night for our Anniversary. The place looks amazing a nice addition to the up and coming Sherwood. Drinks were both imaginative and fairly priced. Even better still is table service great idea for a small bar as it would get packed easily. Welcome to Sherwood Jenkins Five well deserved stars.
