Nice staff, good drink menu
Very nice beer and even more whisky bar in the centre of Oslo. Likr the intrior very much. Owner and personel could be more enthousiastic but hey we where there on monday;)
MoreNot really a good place for craftbeer, lots of much better alternatives in Oslo
Very nice atmosphere and live music :)
Super place with great decoration and atmosphere. The waiters are nice too and there is a very good choice of Whiskey. A place to be in Oslo!
MoreReally knowledgeable staff, big selection of whisky, beer, etc and great atmosphere.
MoreSweet and soft, a little expensive though.
The drinks sux! But That is okay because the wiskey is awesome, as is the knowledge of the bartenders. Highley recomended!
MoreA great whisky bar with plenty of selection. Barman knew a great deal about whisky.
MoreAmazing whisky selection. The staff was so wonderful and patient to my questions, and the atmosphere is amazing! A must go in Oslo!
MoreYes.Really nice pub with pool and a small outside terrace. Plenty of whiskeys, perfect ambient.
MoreA lovely pub, really well decorated, with a friendly atmosphere. Darts and pool tables downstairs, great seating area upstairs. Lots of wood and leather and a pretty good beer selection. A great place for a pint (or, as ee are in Norway, a 0.6l)
MoreGoogle asked me to update my old review after 5 years. The whisky selection is still the best, but in addition the cocktail quality and selection has greatly improved. Still a place I come back to to be amazed.
MoreFantastic gothic-themed bar with the greatest collection of whiskies in Norway! It has a relaxing atmosphere in the evenings, good for chatting and sharing a whisky or craft-beer.They have pool-tables and a sports-section, and during the summer the inclosed-but-outdoorsback-area is a pleasant place to relax!Bonus: Can you find the secret bathroom?
MoreSuper variety of drinks and awesome bartender
Pub type place with many taps and big whiskey selection. Nicely sized and very comfortable courtyard smoking area
MoreExceptional service 👌Thank you Jonathan !
Great selection of whiskeys! Good atmosphere, and a really nice backyard!
Best place in Oslo, not even close
Great pub! We had a group of about 15 people, they have ample space, great service, darts, billiards, knowledgeable bartenders and an excellent beer selection. Ill visit again next time Im in Oslo.
MoreLovely pub with an amazing selection of whiskeys and good cocktails! Extremely friendly staff.
MoreBest whisky bar in Norway. Period.
Good beer selection, staff had issue with the half hot chocolate partner had from 7 11. Swigged drink and left. We would have stayed longer otherwise. Wouldnt really recommend. 13€ for pint, would have been nice to enjoy it.
MoreFriendly and nice pub in Oslo downtown. Wide spectrum beer and spirtis choice.
Great whiskey bar.A single 12 y/o macallan is about the same price as a pint. Knowledgeable staff. Good vibes.Cool place.
MoreA very nice pub with billiard, outside smoker area and the best toillet door i ever saw. Prices are "normal norwegian" prices.Really enjoyed my time there.
MoreGreat place to stop by after work, or to take a few drinks with friends. The hidden bathroom behind the bookshelf is like it has always been. Not to crowded on a friday evening.
MorePerfect place to enjoy a nice whisky. Huge selection, knowledgeable staff, good atmosphere.
MoreThey have a good selection of beers and cool cocktails. Nice concept going on in the bar (though it couldve been better). Would definitely go back
MoreI was told to go here for the whiskey, and I was not disappointed. Only had time for one drink, but the staff I talked to was very experienced with it. Some day I will go there for an entire evening of whiskey tasting. A must-visit if you like whiskey
MoreNice little English style pub on a side street in the centre of Oslo. The amusing blackboard caught our attention and drew us in. The fact that a Norwegian bar can do wordplays in English better than most English bars is to be applauded! When we went in we were told that they had a problem with the beer taps and nothing on the board was available on draught. I fancied a Brooklyn Beer as it was familiar from a prior trip to New York and thus the only beer on the menu that I knew. However the friendly and helpful barman managed to rustle up two pints of Frydenlund. I had never heard of the beer before but it was good, and would have certainly had more if we hadnt had to get back to the hotel for dinner. There is a nice, if limited, outside seating area (terrace would be exaggeratingfor people who smoke and/or want to catch a bit of sun (which there was in August).Would go again and experience the beer tasting of the kinds we dont get in Spain!
MoreNice setting with extensive range of whiskies, as well as creative drinks, with various creative cocktails - including a Cereal Killer including cheerio syrup... Prices were upwards of 120nkr per drink
MoreI was refused service after three pints. I tried to explain that my cerebral palsy might make me seem too drunk. The bartender just ignored me. This is the second time Ive been treated like this. The first time I was refused entry because I was too drunk. I came directly from a relay run, very tired. And completely sober. So if you have a disability or a speech impediment, stay clear of this place
MoreMagical place with tasty craft beer. Something is hiding over the bookcase 😉
Interesting pub with a great selection of draft beers but very expensive.
Great selection for both beer and whiskey.4/5 due to prices.Great staff!
One of the better selection of whiskeys in Oslo. Two huge bars. Two pool tables, plenty of screens and lots of seating. A really nice place to watch sports also. Also functions as a night club.
MoreGreat place in Oslo to go out with friends. Good environment and good selection of drinks. Good drinks and the bartenders were really nice!
MoreThe bartender downstairs (I think he was Swedishsaid that there were no more cocktails available but when we asked the next bartender, surprise surprise, he made us a cocktail. Also, we went there at 7 in the evening...who finishes all the cocktails that early in the evening. I also asked for a non alcoholic drink and he(the Swedish guytold me "why come here if you want non alcoholic drinks", first i had to drive, second and most important its none of your business and you will just end up making feel people uncomfortable. Also the pool tables are way too close to each other, you always risk hitting someone while playing.
MoreOverall chill atmosphere, many dark corners to creep into. Their concept is quite followed though. Yet, tall ceilings, warm colors, rustic furniture, it can feel a little boring at times.A good note to end on if youve been out too long in the cold streets of Oslo.
MoreInteresting friendly pub. At entrance level appears to be quite a small place, however head downstairs and it open up into a large basement. Many pool tables and TVs showing live sports.
MoreSlow service, with a Janteloven sense that you are being done a favour when you buy a drink. Oslo mostly has moved on from this type of service to a more international and acceptable style of service. It has a multiple personality disorder, as the name implies. Is it a sports bar, a conversation place, a music venue, a tourist bar? It tries to do it all and doesnt hit a visible mark. Very hard to feel welcome or comfortable with this recipe; its not a happy bar as you can tell from the amount of bouncers required for a pub this size. You can get a good whisky and beer, but you can in nearly any bar in town these days. Prices reflect location, nothing else.
MoreVery nice water hole in oslo city center. Two floors. Pool/Billiard in the basement
MoreAmazing place with great whisky collection! Its a sunny beach for whisky enthusiast in December!
MoreAwesome bar with a great selections of whisky or whiskies:Do you want some unique and rare scotch in Oslo here is the place. Dr Jekyll’s Expression of Laphroaig can be the strange case of Dr.Jekyll’s, a good strange;Need to mention bartenders are friendly and helpful to find you something you may enjoy.
MoreBest bar in the area by far. Fantastic selection of beer and whisky. Always open til 3am. Great smoking area. Funny toilet. Pool and darts downstairs. Great bartenders. All kinds of people come here.
MoreWe were a group of grown ups out early in the evening, but we got kicked out like kids because one of us calmly picked up a glass from the stack behind the bar because he liked the glass and would like to look at it closer. The bartender ran to the guard and our friend was escorted out and given a speech, and they kept holding him outside for a while. We came out to check what was going on, they said we all could enter again. We obviously had our drinks elsewhere instead. The situation could have been handled much better.
MoreOne of the coolest bars in oslo. I was massively overcharged for beers - thankfully i was with a group of norwegians that picked up on the issue with the bar staff and i got refunded. The barman seemed genuine enough about the mistake but having been a barman for 10 years, Id like to think id clock onto the fact that charging someone 470kr for 4 small beers wasnt correct.
MoreNice place near the port of Aker Brygge. Big selection of spirits and beer, some made here. Gentle personal. The only problems are a poor availability of external table and the prices, to high for Oslo too.
MoreGreat locationlots of localsbar staff is greatlots of ambiance and a great place to meetWeird non local toleratedAll in all a very good pub
