Nice place to swim in the summer

I did sign with b&d two days before for dohlgbite injury accident .

Park grounds are nice, kept up. Just BEWARE of EVER using the restrooms. Those are the kinda restrooms that can give people phobias about public rr. So as long as you can hold it, you can enjoy the park.

The lights dont turn on at the basketball courts its super dirty around there parking area filthy when I was a kid and had no money thats were I spent my nights trying to stay out of trouble now when I went I seen all the youngsters going home as soon as it dark made me think I cant believe the city let this park tht made so many hoppers go to waste clean it up fix the park please

Its a good park , hopefully they fix the restrooms soon is my only issue

A amphitheatre water spray for kids. Lots of grass. They are improving upon it. One of the nicer parks in East Bakersfield. Has a Bathroom. Councilman Andrae Gonzalez is over this area. And Supervisor Laticia Perez is over area. Let them both know Deidre gave them hi remarks. They care about their parks.As well as their new Parks Director Rick Anthony. They are going to renovate these bathrooms lets check back a year from now an see.

There was a family festival today and it was amazing

I and friends stayed by the car as I walked I noticed this Park needed damage control

Its a good place to eat lunch and enjoying the day with someone

Best play ground but alot of riff raff and to close to a busy street

Sometimes its like you have good days n you have bad ones just like any where else but I really enjoy being there

Its ok. My son loves the slides but theres alot of garbage on the ground. Theres also alot of homeless who fight there.

Sk8 ledge in basketball court. Waxx her up and a lil sweep sweep makes a nice chill spot. To kick it and sk8!!

I was fun, could use a lil bit of clean up but other then that, good mee up spot with Friends or family

Clean, no trash on ground , water park area was open and splashing water was cool and refreshing on a hit day😃😃😃

Populated with questionable patrons both day and night. Seems like a hub for transients, but not hostile. Restrooms are opened in the day hours.

I remember growing up going to elementary school used to playing at the Rocket Slide there which they no longer have I remember we used to have our elementary assemblies there are Cinco de Mayo festivities to be held there now its just really trashy its really I mean I wouldnt take I would even take my dog there for a walk so many gang members there so many drug addicts and alcoholics to go there its not even a peaceful Park anymore its really sad cuz I like I said that used to be a really fun part to go to Growing Up.

There was a lot of trash in view,l noticed that no trash cans in sight just in bathrooms entrance . The park had a lot of people eating lunch like we were. Possibly no garbage cans by the curb area is why trash in the street and grass is seen. This Park is big and nice for families to go for outdoors. The bathrooms were not clean as could be.

I like this park its huge, has lots of basketball courts, ( which were taken down for quite a while but they have reinstalled them again. Since theres so many basketball courts, theres always room for you to play with your own group. Plus its got bathrooms. ( Nothing compared with the ones on the west side of town.Thats why I gave it 4 stars. I wish the bathrooms would be better. But I know thats impossible. Well at least theyre there...!

Good places to take your kids to play during the day I dont know about night cuz I havent been there in a long time

I enjoy visiting the Parks!! I would Love if the City Would make routine Sanitizing Sprayers who came periodically and sprayed equipment and benches that would really benefit our Pandemic Safety Standards..

Lots of shade, water toys, but 7 year olds were there without parents fighting most of the evening. Other adults and older children kept having to break it up and we had to watch our little ones closely because the kids kept fighting by where everyone else was playing in the water. Also, someone drove their car up on the grass.

Clean park. Utilizes adequate lighting and bathrooms, though open were clean and reasonably well kept up. I like this park the best. Green grass and lots of lovely trees & shady spots!

Love it its rt/ a cross the Street from my Appartment just wish there was Security there, it needs it, but it is kept up very nicely better than when I first moved here 11 years ago has changed for the better.. As far as Security just so we has someone visible certain times of the day, I dont want to take anyone RIGHTS AWAY, just an OVERVIEW periodically.. Thanks for the up keep they are doing a GREAT JOB . I take my daughter swimming at the pool thats about it but the kids that work there are very nice and friendly and lifeguards are very professional and always on point for safety

Its how you just get out there and use the public places be a blessing to the community and respect others and its all good my wife and I took our grandson to a birthday party here today and we enjoyed the little water park to beat the 99 degree temperature.....we also found out that the community pool is very nice and clean with life guards....AND ITS OPEN EVERY DAY ON THE SUMMER FROM 1PM TO 4PM ....FOR ONLY A DOLLAR......WE ARE GOING TODAY RIGHT AFTER CHURCH

Went for the East Bakersfield festival, the park is nice sized and has a pool. Not sure if open to the public without membership, but pretty good.

Jefferson Park is a very good place to enjoy yourself with the kids ,its changed alot since Ive been growing up and I have been living in Bakersfield all my life. Ive went swimming there did alot good park try it out yourself...

I want to make this review perfectly understandable. My rating is for the new BB Courts. They did an amazing job of renovating them. Thank you. Hopefully the actual park can be cleaned up. Everytime I go there which isnt as often as Id like to only bc I see dope bags all over the grass. 🙄 👎

Thats great that they have to playgrounds for children to play with other children their own age what I really dislike the was that people just leave their mess everywhere and there were adults playing in the kids playground as if it was for them insecurities with a little tighter this place would be great but we cant do everything for everyone all the time right..

Park is good in the day time. I will not go at night time just because a lot of drugies go to the park. In the day time you see a lot of families having a good time. Is Ok park.

Jefferson park memories date back to the 2000. I grow up next to this park. Hitting back flips off the swing. We use to connect somebody to two swings. Then we would swing them with someone on top. The restrooms are still poorly matienced.

Theres too many bummy digusting people there yes im talking about the disrespectful black people and the wanna be gangsters and dumb teenagers. Not a good place to take your kids unless you grew up in that area and your comfortable with that type of class.

Very nice park, spray park and playground are excellent. Only downsides are how crowded it is, and not a great place to be after dark. Also, lets just say it isnt very ethnically diverse... not many Caucasians

Large park lots of shade and water toys for the kids there are few sketchy people in the neighborhood that walk through the park but no one bothers anyone just keep an eye out on your car

The park is clean tends to be nice people there close to my house and safe and lots of trees

It is the best park i have been to because of the place were you look like you can have a meat and great that has a lot of stairs that look lod .The stairs make it look like old important things happen thereMe and my dad go there ever sunday or SaturdayHe plays basketball and I go play at the park or at the place that looks importantSo to me the park is the best park I have ever been to and it has a really good pool.I give the park a five star rate 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Go early in the day during the week if you are looking for a quiet, nice place to take your kids. If its after 2 or a weekend? Be ready 2 share your space with LOTS of different walks of life here on this side of town.

My Neighborhood Park. Decent Park for children to play during the day. Blue collar type feel. Night time not so Sweet. Looks like the dead came back alive. The Walking Dead is out their Otherwise. In general a nice park!

I took mu granddaughter here during the day on a weekday and the children area was relatively clean and had several toys fot toddlers her age but there were several unsupervised children there which made it difficult to enjoy playing because they were throwing sand and blocking the slides and I was approached by people asking if i had weed or money

I like the part the part has a nice basketball court in 02 to basketball to know before basketball courts and attendance for people who play soccer people can play football guys play area they got a place where people going to a band play music people to share they got toys for kids and toddlers swimming pool area and its okay and yeah they got a picnic area to really only bad thing about the people

I live 100 feet away from this park, drugs,prostitution,tweekers, violence, gun fire almost every night. The trees are really old, big and nice.. 3/25/17 Update...the last month/30 days or so police have been a more visable presence, and that has slowed the hookers/drugs, and the cold rainy weather has silenced 50% of the gunfire.

Its a beautiful oasis of green with mature tall beautiful trees it has a water park and swimming pool thats opened during the summer and there are basketball and tennis courts and there is an amphitheater and lots of covered areas to have a BBQ at.

Its all about the public pool free to get in this year during the summer and also has spray water fountains has kids playground basketball court tennis court BBQ area public restrooms a nice place during the day but during the night Park is too dark in my opinion he needs more lighting.
