Best zoo ever i visited. Highly recommend.

Amazing zoo that we love to spend our Malang Holiday. We just walk and seeing animals closely 🙂 We love it for the 1st visit and my kids always want to go back. It is quite a big zoo, they also provide e bike for you esp with younger children or elderly.

actually i visited this zoo almost three years ago but ill give review now based on my experience that day, so my experience are great, this zoo location in the middle of Batu so u no need worry to visit in the middle of the noon bcs the weather in Batu are really cool, the zoo are clean, the animal looks well groomed and healthy (i like how they treat the animal), also this zoo had the various of animals, close to the zoo u can found a restaurant called Jungle Cafe and Restaurant, the hotel called Pohon Inn and Museum Satwa.

Used to be one of my fave attraction in Batu. This is not my first visit obviously, but disappointing this time.Staffs were not friendly.Ticketing was unreasonable, for not being able to use credit card payment for 1 ticket purchase (min 2 tickets). For tickets, better buy in advance.Foodcourt was terrible, pricey but not worth what we paid for. Very few options, we got undercooked rice & meal was not enjoyable.The foodcourt cashier even dare to ask “do you want to get your change?” When I returned the card.I was like “WTH?!” 🤣 shouldn’t I be the one to say “you can keep the change” ONLY IF I WAS SATISFIED THO!And to add, many animal spaces were empty. My daughter was looking forward to the flamingos (which was shown all over the place & brochuresbut we found no single flamingo. Sad.

Very large and full of things to see. Spent 7 hours and still only managed to experience 90% of the zoo and museum, didnt get to try Eco Green park or the petting zoo despite those being included with the ticket (140.000 Rupiah, well worth it). Recommended to arrive at the opening hours.Wheelchair accessible. Not really wheelchair friendly. Lots of inclination, 8+ hours of pushing wheelchair was tiring. Electronic bike only available 1/4 way in (and the rent is 140.000/3 hours). Wheelchair available to borrow from the entrance.Food court could have more food options.

A nice place to explore with family. So many things to see and learn.

Another huge area to explore beside Jatim Park 1. Make sure you visit it when travelling to Batu. Wear your comfortable clothes including footware to make the visit memorable and fun even though the long walk can be tiring. The highlight of this park is the zoo at which you can show a big collection of animals to your little ones. Reading the captions put around the area can add up some fun to the visit while getting informed.

Very educative place, highly recommended for students and family

Visit here during fast month, which you could guess that little visitor comes by, we had exciting moment during our trip, the secret zoo is one of the best attraction on Jatim park 2, even better than Singapore zoo in my opinion, the museum satwa as well, really enjoy during our visit.. bring your family, or your friends, I guarantee you will have fun and pleasure visit

Amazing modern zoo with reasonable ticket’s prices. Very educative, not only for kids but for the adults too. Various kind of animals available from all over the world, from African Savannah to South American tropical jungle. The big cats are simply magnificent, spent substantial time watching them. Have been here twice, at the second visit there were no flamingos anymore 😂

The best playground park and bigest zoo in east java

Ive been to zoos in many countries and this zoo is the best! A must visit if you are around.You can also visit Eco park and the museum. The museum Inhavr to say, it is Smithsonian museum level!

Ive always enjoyed going to zoos in Indonesia because of 3 reasons. Very informative, have multiple parks and animals are well treated.Basic information about the animals plus other extra infos such as what do they eat/how do they live and such are placed around the premise in a very entertaining way. Suitable for all generations.Multiple parks, when you pay for the tickets, you dont only get the access to the zoo alone, but also to the scream park, water park and amusement park.Lastly, animals look healthy, and are kept in large space, able for them to roam around freely.Also, be prepared for thick fog during evening, truly enjoyed the weather there.Would definitely recommend this place 👍

Zoo combined with amusement park, suitable for kids. Its a long way walk, better prepare your feet and stamina. If you feel tired you can rent the e-bike, 150k/3 hours.Would give 5 stars if they have baby stroller rental.

Kids 12 years bellow is allowed to be inside. Ticket is only 110K per person, kid over 85cm if Im not mistaken is also counted as one person ticket. Many kinds of animals and you can see it upclose, you can also take photos with the animal using your phone or the camera of the zoo cameramen. The price for taking photo is only 10K multiple poses and if you want, you can also buy the photo taken by the cameramen.Feeding a lion with chicken leg is only 10K also, very affordable for unique experience. They also have e-bike rental for 150K per 3 hours and additional 50K per extra hour, it can fit one adult and one little kid sitting on your lap, only if fits. But to get to the ebike station is quite a walk and you must put your ID there, later on after you return the key near the exit, youll get your ID back. Overall we love it so much, and the ticket is very cheap compared to another zoo.

Awesome place! Great experience! never disappointed with this place. The parking lot is wide enough, the location is easily found. Jatim park 2 is very spacious, I went here from 10 and just able to find way out almost at 5. Its so worth it with the ticket price. Theres museum and the zoo. I love them both. Theres also several food tenant inside of it, the toilet is also clean.

This is my fifth time to come here with family. We always enjoy to spend our holiday here. There are museum satwa, theme park, zoo, and water park as well. Very huge and clean. 👍🏽👍🏽

First visit to Jawa Timur Park 2 after a Covid19 pandemic that headed toward the New Normal. JTP2 implements a good health protocol, at the entrance visitor must pass through temperature checks, spraying disinfectants that are safe for humans and animals, there are plenty of hand washing spots, and also hand sanitizers in each amusement rides which also cleaned periodically.Visitors are required to wear a mask and can use online reservations to minimize physical contact.JTP2 has a wide variety of diverse animal collections and has rare animals that can only be seen here, amusement rides and swimming pools. The best zoo Indonesia ever had and I hope the management will keep improving what they had today. The animals are well cared, the area is clean, a lot of staffs to help and give you direction. Prepare your stamina because now they open earlier, starting from 8.30 in the morning until 16.30 in the evening. Bring your kids to learn and play. Most games there are free, dont forget to bring swimsuit because waterpark provided and its FREE..

It was very fun and educational, especially if you have children with you or love animals! The park consists of Batu Secret Zoo, Museum Satwa, Eco Green Park (bird park), and Secret Memories Selfie (place to take pictures). The animals were well-cared and you basically follow a path through the zoo. They also have a recreation area for kids, and water is involved so you might want to bring extra clothes. Mind you, the zoo is HUGE and you better rent the electric vehicle (e-bikeat the price of IDR 150k/ 3 hours. Its pricey but its worth your energy. The place is also open air so prepare your umbrella if its the rainy season. After you go for the zoo, you can go to Eco Green Park which is basically the bird park using the shuttle at the entrance of Museum Satwa. The shuttle is free and everything is excellent!

Has many places to visit here in Jawa Timur Park 2. This places theme is Eco-Friendly and Animal Conservation, so you can see the Eco Green Park near there and itll take few minutes from there to Jawa Timur Park 2.

This place has a very large collection of animals. animals are placed according to their type. In addition to observing animals from outside the cage, we can also interact directly with several animals via the safari train facility provided. in addition, at certain hours we can also watch shows from animals such as sea lion attractions. Interestingly, in Jatim Park 2 there are also free playgrounds such as roller coasters and haunted houses. we can play all day in this place.

largest tourist area around the Batu City. has a theme of playing and learning. a lot of rare animals that can be watched. the facilities available are very complete. Very spacious parking location. You can see a lot of animals that you cannot see in other zoos. There are various attractions such as feeding the lion or feeding the crocodile. There is a very large playground, including a rollercoaster and a water playground. Lots of comfortable eating and resting spots. Do not worry, if you feel the location of the tour is too broad, an electric motorbike rental is available. But because of the old place, some facilities have been damaged. The price of admission on weekday is 90,000 rupiahs, and 110,000 rupiahs on weekends, children with 85cm height already have to pay for the full price.

Entertaining and educate us about animals. There’s 2 place here. The first is batu secret zoo, the zoo is so clean, you can see the animals closely. Batu secret zoo also has so manu rides for kids and adults, you can enjoy it. After a half day to be here and feels so hungry, you can go the food court to enjoy your meals, sobmany choices here. The second place is museum satwa. I thought this is the best museum in Indonesia. I am amazed by this museum, all the animals here seems like so real.

Some of the better zoo Ive been to. It doesnt smell, cages are clean, animals seems to be taken care of quite well. Went on a busy day, and is not recomended on a busy day, everything is crowded. Foods and drinks inside are reasonably priced.

Visiting Batu Secret Zoo for the second time. And feel amazed because there’re so many new spot open. They really improve a lot. We were really enjoy our time there. But I think they have to paid attention to the toilet/rest room. Because for me it’s not clean enough. Sometimes it was clean but bad smells occurs from the toilet. They really need to take this seriously.Overall, this is a perfect place to take your children so they can learn about animals and their habitat.

In my experience, this is a special zoo in Indonesia. The animals collection quite a lot. U can interact with the animal by feeding and take a picture with them.I bet your kids will happy if u go there

A cool place for kids, family tours and education about animals. Ticket prices of 120 thousand and 150 thousand rupiah. I am happy with this place, very pleasant. museums about animals are also very good. the place is clean, children also really like it. there are many games on zoo, like roller coasters, haunted houses, etc. there is a swimming pool for kids, its really cool.The restaurant is quite a lot but to buy you have to buy the ticket first.Very satisfying and will definitely come back here again. I will give this 5/5.

Even my parents love it!This is a very well managed zoo, healthy and happy animals, great facilites, comfortable walklanes.I went on a public holiday, it is very crowded but the zoo can still manage to feel good for every one.It is very big, so prepare your energy and a whole day for this excursion 👍🏼

A great place for leisure and vacation, either for family, school, or even office team building activity. The main attraction is, of course, Batu Secret Zoo. The zoo is totally different with other Zoo in Indonesia that Ive visited. There are a lot of new animals which other zoos do not have. Also, the interaction between the animals and visitors seems more close and live. Even better, they also featured a theme park for kids. Finally, why I give them a top 5 star quality, the management really serves the best to the visitor. They can even provide a great games for corporate events. As their CSR, they have some rare animals to be bred there. Good job.

Incredible place to spend for traveler! I think this is one of the best zoo I have ever visited. It has lots and lots of different animals from all across the world. The design of the walking path for the visitors is superb. Visitors just need to follow the path to see displays of different animals from different continents. We got fascinated by the animals that we forgot that we had been there for hours. Our kids had a blast watching the animals. They got very excited as there were a lot of animals they had never seen before.The zoo also offers fund rides for kids and adults. So once you get tired of seeing all those animals, you can spend some time on the rides before seeing more animals (the tigerson the way out.The only complaint we had during our visit was the long wait at the safari farm ride. We finally gave up after waiting for almost 45 minutes for the ride. The zoo should have provided more vehicle to take patrons out for the ride as this ride is pretty popular.If you have limited time in Batu - Malang, this is the must see place you should not miss.

This place is my heaven!It has a lot of animals and there is a FREE mini play park! Its included in the super cheap entrance fee.So the price 86.000 IDR is a package of Museum and Zoo. But I couldnt make it, it took me almost 3hours to explore the whole Zoo because its a fixed route. Cant have a shortcut to see a certain animals.They also have a restaurant and a snack bar.Bring your kids over here, theyll love it.

We went here as a part of day 2 of our end of year and farewell retreat. We were kind of disappointed that we were brough to a zoo, at first, but when we got there and actually started exploring the park, we were more than thrilled to be there. The whole kilometer walk was a huge fear for us as most, if not all of us, hate walking that far. But, you wont exactly feel the whole walk as youll very much be distracted by the cool and cute animals that lie in this very park.They also provide a bunch of stops where you can take pictures with animals for just Rp 5000. Not only do you get a cool souvenir, but you also get to help rid the world of animal extinction (or something along those lines).There is also a mini waterpark very close to the wide food court for the people who just want to swim, because why not? And when I say wide food court, I mean, WIDE food court, like, an I-need-you-to-wait-for-your-food-as-I-probably-wont-be-able-to-deliver-your-food-to-you-because-I-will-most-likely-not-be-able-to-find-your-table kind of wide. With that, we were overwhelmed with the many options of kinds of food that they provided.There are also a lot of theme park ride and carnival game you can play.All in all, this place is a very entertaining place for kids and adults alike. It is very educational, too; teaching kids and reminding ourselves to take care of our planet and be nice to these cute and cuddly animals that weve never even heard of.

This must be the best zoo anywhere in the country. A spectacular recreation park for all ages, Batu Secret Zoo boasts more than 14 hectares of zoo, rides, food courts, and everything else. The zoo is complete with exotic animals from the alpaca to the siberian tiger and from reptiles to more types of primates than you can count. One thing missing, though, is birds. There are some, but not quite enough. The layout of the zoo guides visitors along a safari-like path through the different animal enclosures, before opening up to a theme park-like area with rides and food courts. Me and the family had tremendous fun here, and even though this was our second visit, we were still as in awe as the first time we came.

Jawa Timur 2 is another Jawa Timur Park that is VERY big area. I only got to visit 2 places, the museum and the zoo.For the museum, it only shows you the fossils and history of the species. Very good place if you are very interested in "zoology". They provide you with many knowledge about this species. One of the most complete museum Ive ever seen.For the zoo, wow, this is big. I like the environment here. Some cage is stink, I think it is because of the feces of the animal. One thing I like is the photo session with parrot. The parrot are so tame, but I forgot to take pictures of them. I took about 2.5 - 3 hours to complete the zoo, with some areas skipped.

Jatim Park 2 is a great place to visit. I had a good mood in here. Many attraction in here and not so far from my hotel. Beautiful views and always full people visit this place along the holiday. Now I was here when Easter, and the places so crowded. I love this place so much. Very recommend to you to full happiness with your family.

The zoo is very good, I like the flowing concept in which people will see all animals exhibited. Please be prepare that you will have hundreds of kindergarten kids visiting this place with you.The journey is very long so brace your self 😄. You can rent e-bike here. I do not know the price, as I did not take it. However, in Predator Fun Par it costs Rp100k/3 hours.Inside the zoo youll find also playground which rides are free.

Very good place to visit when you go to Batu, Malang. This place is very big. If you feel tired, you can rent a scooter inside each arena. Theres also a hotel in here and shuttle train to pick you from one arena to others

Considering that this Jatim Park 2 is connected to the Batu Secret Zoo, therefore you still can see the animals here and there. They have arranged the zone really well planned to keep your interest.In the Jatim Park 2 area, it is a medium sized amusement park. Yes, they have challenging rides and also some fun ones for younger kids.We experienced the feeding the animals ride. It was really engaging and challenging at the same time because the animals were really hungry and eager to look for food your way themselves.Keep in mind that you must be ready to walk and walk and walk and walk and walk all the times. Even after the amusement park and seeing the exit sign, it doesnt mean that you just exit it rightaway. Haha...still need to walk some more before the real exit ya.As an alternative, you can rent their bike for 100k for as long as 3 hours.Do bring umbrella or raincoat just in case it rains. A raincoat will be better as it will be more convenient to move and better coverage. If you dont have it, you can buy raincoats at their stores inside the venue....or just save some money and stay in the shades...hahha.It was enjoyable though!

This park is quite big. We arrived around 10 and only paid a visit to the zoo. It was amazingly clean, and most important: the animals looked well taken care of. We had a great day here and the kids loved it. We would love to come back and see the rest of the park.

This place is very nice place, I always enjoy visiting it, today was my 3rd visit in the past 6 years. However, if I compare it now with the first time I visited this place 4 years ago it has some parts which are not well maintained anymore. For example the toilets, they used to be very clean and smells good, now it is not that clean anymore, some has broken parts that was not being fixed, the museum has lost some animals, some was not hang properly anymore like the jelly fish, the water in some cages was not that clean anymore too, some attendants like some at the museum were not very helpful but some others like the one at the river and tiger feeding are very nice. This is a bit sad, I hope the management will look at these matters seriously so it can be better soon so it can be back to the original shape.

A great modern zoo. Animals are exotics. They take care the animals very good. All seems fat and healthy. The area also design nicely so you just need to follow the path. They have a rent e-bike; convenient for those who cant walk much. Combined with fresh air, the walk will not be so tiring though. They have regular bird performance. Great for family and group. Very nice experience to visit here. Also they have science centre. Decent but informative.

Fabulous place . Quite a lot for its collection of animals. Wonderful childrens play land: Fantasy land, Happy land, Moo moo land. Swimming pool also available here. The collection of its animal museum is also complete. The right place for families during school holidays. Entertaining and educating as well.
