Modern brewery offering housemade craft beers & elevated pub fare in a bright, stylish interior.
West coast brewery tour continues…..on our way back east and stopped off in Jasper to this little oasis after 5 hours on the road. Great day under the sun on the patio….be back soon JBC!
Holey moley. Make damn sure you try the mac n cheeze. The tangerine ale is also really REALLY good. This is THE place for amazing pub food and solid beers. The Korean chicken bbq sandwich was VERY tasty. The ribs also were cooked perfectly. I hope they give the cooks here a good compensation package because theyre GOLD.
Very tasty beef deep. Falafel burger was a little bit in the dry side as well the French fries. The server was extremely polite and attentive.Keep the good work!
Great bar and lovely food! We arrived quite late but we’re seated quickly and our waitress was super friendly! The portions are huge so take into account when you order! We had the nachos which were lovely, a burger and the ribs which were amazing! Definitely recommend!
Great food, amazing view, well designed patio. Overall a must try place when in this area.
The elk were excellent!❤️The rest were ok and what you would expect. Fries were no longer hot and hard.
Great beer, great service, and the food was fantastic!! The beef dip was great, and the poutine was the best we’ve had on this trip.Heads up that food service took about 30-40, but when the beer and company is good, that’s a plus :)
Such a cute vibe in here ! We stopped in for a beverage & snack! We decided to share the tacos ! So delicious!! Our server was awesome !Also, we loved the music 🎶! We were watching people enjoy it as well!
We stopped for a quick lunch on Sunday. The food was great, dogs are allowed on the patio and the servers were very friendly. Very recommended
Went for dinner the other night. Food was fantastic… had the Korean barbecue chicken sandwich, which was quite honestly one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Also enjoyed a flight of a few different beers they had on tap… all of them were pretty good… The IPA was not that great, and I do love a good IPA… other than that an all around great experience
Great food, drink, atmosphere and service. We sat outside on a late afternoon and enjoyed watching the sun go down. The Korean chicken burger was fantastic. Definitely go a flight/paddle of beers so you can try the local brew. The cocktails were equally as good.Cheers for a great dining experience
Friendly, quick service. Food and beer were good for a touristy destination. The seared halloumi bowl was delicious and so was the falafel burger, classic burger and beef dip sandwich.
Cant say enough about this place. Loren and Ollie were awesome servers. Try the Trial IPA...best one I have had and after I picked up a 6 pack and the local liquor store. Thanks again!
Amazing beer!! I highly recommend getting the samples to try six of their different varieties and choose your favorite. It was also a fun experience to try it with our family and rate them between us. My personal favorites were the babe blueberry vanilla beer and Jasper the Bear Ale, which were light and fresh. Additionally, the Babe Tangerine Dream tastes like a fresh Sunday mimosa. The roasted cauliflower is absolutely amazing, really worth to try. We spend a great evening with a friendly staff.
It was good! Prices seem to keep going up each year and that’s a little disappointing, so I’ll probably start liking elsewhere. A tiny thin piece of cheese is $2 on an $18 burger? Come on… it was a $30 burger with all the stuff. Pretzels were great though!! Staff was great, and the atmosphere is always lively!!
Food and beer. Two things Jasper Brewing Company knocked out of the park. There is a great selection of beer and food, and the prices are extremely reasonable - despite the small size of Jasper and it being a tourist destination.Make no mistake - the food is not normal pub fare - its that and so much more. The food is fresh, tasty, and beyond basic.I strongly recommend the ribs with the mac and cheese. Absolutely incredible. While youre there, try the sampler flight of 6 of Jasper Brewing Co.s finest! You wont be disappointed!!!!
I liked their B&B (mixture of their stout and blueberry vanilla beer). The blueberry vanilla beer itself was fine to me but I think mixing it with stout makes it much better. (Stout is not sold in cans.)Their food is decent and the portion is big! My husband and I were about to order three food because we were starving, but I’m glad the server stopped us and warned us of the huge portion.Korean fried chicken sandwich was good but the pork rib was too salty for me.
Came here for dinner on a Thursday night. The place seemed busy and very happening. After being told that there was a 15-20 minute wait time, we were seated and service was fairly quick and good. I had the classic chicken burger which wasnt all that great. The beef was a little bit on the drier side and lacked flavor. The toppings were pretty bare minimum and they could have innovated by giving sweet pickles for example instead of regular ones. The beer was nice and my friends loved the cherry cola pork ribs they ordered, claiming that it was the best ribs they had.
The food is decent with good portions. You can get an appetizer and still be satisfied. What really takes this restaurant over and above is the service. We had Christine as our waiter back in early June 2022. She was amazing and super friendly. I also want to use this review to apologize to her as well. We were misinformed and advised that tipping in Canada was considered rude. We gave a little thinking it would be nice but not enough. We found out later that this was untrue. Tipping in Canada is okay! Were super sorry and if there is a way to rectify the situation and give her the over-tip that she is owed, please let us know. We truly feel awful about it. I havent stopped thinking about it since we left and found out this information. If you get Christine, tip her well, she deserves it.
Popped in for some beers. Cool spot. Bartenders are engaging. Beer is ok. Nothing special, but kind of the only option in town.
Pretty good beer, lots of selection. We opted for a sampler of the 6 which was a perfect amount that could be split between 2 if you’re not as thirsty as us. They have quite a few options for food too. We had a burger with fries and the pork tacos. Fries were amazing - the tacos didnt have much flavour unfortunately but were the perfect amount for one less hungry person. Staff were super helpful and accommodating - please be patient with restaurant staff, there’s a shortage of workers across Jasper which could cause some delays with getting your food!
Perhaps we depend a little too heavily on reviews. I didn’t have super high expectations for this place based on the reviews but, my husband and I adore craft beer so we had to go. Gosh, cannot have been more pleasantly surprised. The tap list was awesome. They nailed the classics and had a number of very delicious more experimental options. We loved the rose tip saison and the rockhopper IPA.The thing that was possibly most surprising was how dang good the food was. I got the French dip sandwich- wow- complete with caramelized onions and horseradish aioli. They did it on a perfectly crusty baguette. It was like someone read my deepest desires and knew that a sandwich that is meant to be dipped in broth should never be on overly soft bread. Are they genius? You may think so after trying the Korean fried chick sandwich. Crunchy, sweet, spicy- all while topped with kimchi pickles. And the sweet potato fries and poutine we had as sides are something we could write home about all on their own. Well done JBC. Well done.
Amazing! Elk meatloaf and nachos were amazing. Great beer selection. Friendly service. Only regret is that we are only in town one day!
The beers were great. The nachos were a little over done and the cheese was crispy. All the main meals we ate were delicious and very filling. Great place to head after a day of hiking in Jasper.
Pretty good option to have. The food was quite good and beers tasty. Great service despite being busy
What a cool establishment in the heart of Jasper. The Staff compliment themselves, and work great together. The menu is perfect...not too extensive...just right. Outside dining f on the sidewalk dogs👍. Numerous beers and cocktails excellent food. I can only hope my travels bring me back through Jasper.
They were out of their 2 new beers we went there to try but we still had a few very tasty beers on their happy hour special. Our server was really nice and the best part is she let me order off the kids menu and I had the best fish and chips Ive had in my life! I never did get her name but a big thank you to her. Ill never forget that! Also the wallpaper in the bathroom is pretty cool.
Went here to a crowded, bustling environment. Love the aesthetic. Reminds me of your local sports bar with a touch of Jasper in the interior design. Our waitress from Cambridge seemed very busy with a full house, but despite that, the service was excellent and made our experience great. Next, the Brewery lives up to its name and provides a good selection of craft and canned beers that were excellent when we tried them. From the light beers to the dark ales, both had their distinct flavour profile, which was overall quite good. Those are the highlights of the restaurant. With regards to the food, the appetizer that was shared (nachoswere great. However, the mains like the turkey club, burgers, and fish & chips were all lackluster and were not seasoned well. Overall, come here for some drinks and apps, but be aware of the weak mains and the very busy atmosphere where it may be difficult to get a seat. The pub is good, but I cannot recommend it above other options in Jasper.
Loved my dinner here. I had the Korean chicken sandwich but they didn’t warn me how spicy it was. It was also way taller than it was wide. My friends ordered the elk meatloaf which they quite liked. I had the blueberry vanilla beer which was really good.
If I could I would give it six stars.Good atmosphere, great staff delicious food! We ordered the Korean chicken sandwich, a salad and traditional Fish&Chips accompanying with 2 apple ciders....very tasty, good portion size and reasonably priced. It can get pretty busy in here, but its worth the wait. Will definitely come back here when in Jasper.
After a 10 hour non stop drive from vancity we finally reached Jasper and the lady at North Face Pizza gave a chilled glass of Crisp Pils and I went into the whole “ Anton Ego going back into his childhood flashback after he tasted Remy’s ratatouille “ but for me I went to a zone of relaxation !! And for next 3 days I had this beer for Breakfast Lunch & Dinner !Cheers to you guys for making such an amazing and refreshing beer !Gonna miss it so much here in GTA , Can’t wait to go back and sip chilled one this summer !
Great place for some beer and food. The sever was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, we will be back next time we are in town.
It was very busy so we waited an eternity for our food but it was soooo good. Fries were amazing, and the Korean chicken sandwich was delicious. Try the blueberry vanilla beer! So good A+++++
Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks! Our server was super friendly, fast and accurate! We will totally come back here. What a great laid back spot to find some awesome local brews and some great food.10/10 would recommend 👌🏻 👏 👍
Really good food, we loved ! American atmosphere there is very nice. The burgers were delicious !
Went here twice on our visit in Jasper and would’ve gone back again if we’d had more time. The bar has a great vibe, lots of hustle and bustle, sports and great beer. The tasting boards are a great way to try all their beers before getting a pint. The nachos were great value, packed with toppings and full of flavour. We also had the pretzels and chicken burger which were perfect. The chicken burger was really well balanced with the spicy pickles and coleslaw and the chicken was juicy with a great crunch. All the staff are super friendly and the service is top notch. Best place to eat in Jasper for sure!
Roasted cauliflower on a bed of hummus and a side of what they said was naan but was actually pita + BC salmon over barley grains were amazing. Brewer’s salad was simple and nothing to write home about. Also ordered the draft beers - Babe Blueberry Vanilla ale (loved itand the Rosehip Séance Saison.
The best spot to eat/drink, in Jasper. The Manager (Mattand Bartender (Bradwere very friendly, helpful, informative and excel in Customer Service. We had the Wild Bore Nachos. They were huge and extremely tasty. However, the salsa was very, very spicy. Customers should be warned. We also had the Elk Meatloaf, which was very good. The Spaghetti and Waygu Meatballs are delicious.Chicken Wings were delicious and crispy.Fries and Gravy are very, very good.Their house-made beers are the best craft beers I have had yet...and I have tried many different beers.DEFINITELY TRY THE TANG BEER (Tangerine Cream Ale). If you like TANG (similar to Kool-Aid), you will love this beer...JUST LIKE TANG. MY NEW FAVORITE BEER.
Tasty food and good portions. Friendly service and great beer selection! It was extremely busy when we came here but we got a heated spot on the patio and it was definitely doable to sit there. And the view is worth it!
My wife and I shared the "Cast Iron Nachos" with added pulled wild boar. It took a long time to eat and was absolutely fantastic! I would definitely suggest ordering them if that is something youd eat. Usually I can finish my meal and my wifes leftovers in a single sitting, but not with this huge dish, haha. Thank you Jasper Brewing Company for the great food and friendly service:)
Came here after realizing The Stand Easy is closed on Mondays and The Spice Joint also was closed for a couple days. Got the Jerry burger and the classic, the burger was pretty overcooked/dry and the classic is just one 4 oz patty and just a super sad burger. The Jerry was better in that there were more interesting things happening with the flavours but the burger patties themselves lacked much seasoning . The fries were thin McDonalds-esque fries. We waited quite a while for our food, we were out on the patio that got pretty chilly, originally sat at a table that had a "more of a decoration" heater but was able to move under the awning with decent heaters. Overall just very underwhelming.
Delicious food with big portions. They were very accommodating with the big group we had even though they were super busy. Service was a little slow but understandable with the size of our group. Really enjoyed the sampler and my fried chicken sandwich!
Enjoyed the outdoor location with our little one. Both kid and dog friendly patio, with access to heaters if needed. Our server was great, food was amazing. Definitely need to have a stop during your trip to have some great food and drinks.
Visited on a Saturday for a late lunch and sat inside. The service was very slow as well as our food. Ordered the Jerry burger and turkey BLT. The food itself was ok. They added a voluntary DMF fee without letting us know.
The food was good and service was great 😊🥰we enjoyed the Elk Meatloaf and the fried chicken burger. The blueberry vanilla Beer was very refreshing as well 🍻
The best nachos, period. Theyre so good the first time I ate them that I came back the very next day to try them again with the wild boar instead of bacon. The cheese dip is like a high-end luxury cheese dip compared to the pump cheese at 7-eleven. I know, poor comparison but its definitely something to rave about because the 7-Eleven cheese is gag Worthy, if it even has the right to the title cheese. The two IPAs that I tried were delicious, but I ended up settling on the pilsner. It was light and refreshing.Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal both times, if youre looking for a really yummy place to eat you dont want to miss this place! The only thing extra I would rave about was the service. We had two different servers both times they were excellent, they remove plates right away when they were done and they make sure to keep the refreshments topped up. Very friendly, attentive and professional. And while this is totally going to be seem odd in a review but I love the bathroom! Thats why Ive included a ton of photos of the wallpaper decor, very cool!Five stars!
The cherry coke ribs and the salmon dishes are really good. Service was great and the beer selection pretty interesting. This place is highly recommended if you are in Jasper.
I had the duck ramen and it was absolutely amazing!!! I also loved the tangerine dream beer (I’m not usually a huge beer fan but I ended up bringing home a 6pk of that). The patio was nice and both servers both times we went were great. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the hostess was quite rude and not very friendly when we asked if we could make a reservation for the following day… she could’ve explained more kindly that they don’t take reservations instead of seeming to be annoyed that we asked. Also, we tried to call twice in advance to check if they take reservations, and we couldn’t get through either time.
Food was delicious. Great atmosphere. We sat at the bar as all other spots were taken! The bartender was great and speedy quick! Great first experience 👍 although I wish they had merch! Would have loved to buy a beer glass
The food here is some of the best that I’ve had in Jasper. We tried two burgers which were both delicious and the pasta and f&c were also good. However, their fries were some of the best I have ever had. They were crunchy and not stale like most other restaurants. Missing star is for the waitresses who weren’t particularly friendly or hospitable.
