Great food I also love the free ice cream

Fast service through the line, but the sweet tea tasted very old. Had to dump out and get soft drink instead.

Restaurant wasnt clean. Common areas like drink and ice cream stations and salad bar needed cleaning attention. Didnt enjoy muffaletta. It was overloaded with the olive mix. It made the bread wet. It was more olive mix than meat. Gumbo wasnt gumbo at all. Didnt enjoy.

sat for 40 mins waiting for them to prepare my order, only to watch the kids working there play around and flirt not doing anything finally to get my food only to find its missing items had to go back in and go through all that again.

Food was over priced and way under quality never again for our office their is 3 of us that ordered and 2 out of the 3 not happy

Reuben the great and potato soup hit the spot! Was pleasantly surprised with the hibiscus tea. The young lady who took my order was awesome. The inside of the building was not what I expected based on the outside! Will definitely be back!

Spent 30.00 on the worst food possible. Me and my husband got sick. Bread hard as rock. Fetachini hot and spicy. If you could put 0 I would.

Service was outstanding, David was friendly and made for a wonderful dining experience

Love Jason’s. Just destroyed a cali club. It was excellent.

Went in to get a soup and a club sandwich after work.. 3 people were working.. Not busy at all.. cashier and the one working up front could have cared less to be there.. They spent more time talking to each other than working on my order. As I waited, the girl in the back that was preparing the stuff for the salad bar comes out front to grab a handful of onions, or something, to take to the back, and in the process her hair dragged thru about 4 pans of food.. About 10 min later, with no other orders, I still havent gotten my soup and club. ONCE AGAIN, Im the only one there at this point.. The guy goes to the back and I go up to cancel my order since he hadnt even started.. I WILL NEVER GO BACK

I used to be a huge fan of Jasons Deli but not since moving to Athens. Third time at this location and always an issue. I drove past the new Newks on my drive to Jasons. Definitely wont make that mistake again.

Jason’s Deli was delicious! The food was flavorful and so fresh! The Ruben sandwich was piled high with 1/2 pound of meat, tangy sauerkraut, gooey melted provolone cheese and just a smear of thousand island dressing. The bread was lightly toasted. Very yummy.The California Club sandwich was like a salad in your mouth just bursting with freshness. The meat was the perfect amount with a generous serving of crisp greens, firm and juicy tomato slice, perfectly cooked bacon and flavorful guacamole. The croissant was also lightly toasted and perfectly flaky. Absolutely wonderful!The fruit was crisp and juicy and the dip was a vanilla cream of some kind.Their hibiscus tea is slightly sweet and very refreshing.I highly recommend Jason’s deli and have visited the last two times I was in Athens.They also have an amazing salad bar that looks fabulous but I have not tried it myself.

First time in Athens and stopped in for lunch. Ordered the Caprese Panini and it did not disappoint. Forgot to take a picture but I will be back.

Jasons Deli never disappoints. We love the salad bar and it always maintained and fresh. We also love the New York Yankee sandwich.

Great Customer service , gave us time to look over the menu. Food was delivered to the table & was plated nicely . Beefeater , Amys TKO & A Seafood Gumbo Cup. Both plates came with house chips.

If i could give 0 stars I would. I watched a worker clock in, and didn’t even wash their hands before jumping on the line to help. Disgusting!

On 5/5)22 evening myself and a friend went to Jason Deli for dinner. We had the pleasure of having David take our orders and he was a very nice and knowledgeable young man!! After answering the questions we had while ordering he made sure the orders were correct and made sure we had everything. While eating David came and checked on us to make sure we were ok and to see if we needed anything. To the Management Team: Give David a promotion or at least a raise because his customer service is over the top awesome!Thanks

Reliably good food at a fair price. Great soups, sandwiches, potatoes, and pasta.

My husband ordered 1/4 muffeletta with bbq chips and side salad. He got plain chips and no salad. Service was slow but I get it as there arent enough people to work. Bathroom was not clean and things hanging off the walls. The picture of nothing beside his plate is where his salad isnt. I come here a good bit and unfortunately the standards seem to be slipping.

March 10, 2022. Don’t go to Jasons in Athens. today because they have no hot water! So how are they washing their hands? Went into the ladies room and there was a container marked tea sitting over the sink ? I asked the manager why it was there and she said so you can wash your hands in hot water! Food was ridiculously 🤮 A loaded baked potato was filled with 3 inches of melted cheese! My husband‘s dinner was dry roast beef! $35 for dinner that was impossible to consume!! When I told the manager that the cornbread was disgusting she said “OK“. Seriously? and the more I thought about it the sicker I got at the thought of them not washing anything in hot water! Time to call the health department!

Chocolate mousse on the salad bar - be still my heart! Salad bar is excellent. Staff is great. Music eclectic. Loved it while up here for Allstate Band.

They never disappoint! The food is always fresh and is so goood! This had become our go to place when we are in athens.

Used to be nice customer service and it still has great food. I tried to pick up my to go order like I have a million times and they basically asked me for an FBI background check and my fingerprints. Its pathetic how they think they can treat everyday customers because they have a problem with people stealing orders. Theyll make you feel like a criminal walking in there to get something that you paid for. Theres zero chance me or any one of my family will ever go back just because of that one reason. You should recognize everyday customers and not be little them. Either way the people passing out the food are going to make great secret server agents someday.

Good roast beef sandwich but the prices are to high. Over $8 for a one trip salad bar. Low rating because of prices.

Horrible, and thats an understatement! I had a pick-up order at 10 am. I walked into the store; no one said a word for 5 minutes; at least ten people were at work. My order was not ready and they had to make it while I was in the store for 30 mins and placed the order the day before! Meanwhile the staff in there arguing about who is going to make the 10 oclock order. I get back to work to feed my staff and guess what the order was wrong and missing item. It was a complete disater. If I had time to go get my staff something else to eat I would have got my money and tip back.

Very good sandwiches! My wife got grilled cheese and tomato basil soup and loved it. You also get to a small cone of free ice cream!

The manager there is amazing we came back after a month and i have forgot the name of my sandwich but he still remembered it he does his job with all his heart love the energy there. Good food and amazing quality.❤️

UPDATE: so I am sitting here with my food, again, and again the assistant manager keegan is the only reason we still want to come back. In 2 seconds he remembered us and exactly how we like our sandwiches. He works with his heart. Honestly, as a small business owner, I find it sad he hasn’t been promised to general manager. Someone fix that! He’s the best! Honestly it’s awesome. There is an AMAZING manager named Keegan wingate. He’s the nicer person I think I’ve ever met. He is also 100% dedicated to his job. It was great meeting him. He was looking out for my food quality without me even having to ask! He deserved promotion!

If you dine in, you will not be disappointed. Food is tasty and fresh, staff is friendly and helpful. However, do not ever order a pickup order. I had a friend pickup an order for us while we were quarantined for covid, and hardly anything was filled correctly on the order. Literally 8 items were missing and the salads were made with the wrong toppings, missing many of the items on the list. I was certainly not the satisfactory experience I get from dining in. She did call and they apologized, hopefully refunded her for all that she was charged.

First time here. Got the salad bar and a cup of chicken tortilla soup. The soup was one of the best flavored Ive ever had. The salad bar was fresh with great choices. Had the Italian dressing. A little bland. Would have been 5 stars but the salad bar was not " all you can eat". It was a one trip deal. I would have loved to have gotten seconds with a different dressing choice. Will still go back. Maybe its a Covid thing. 🤔

Always pleased with service and food. My favorite has always been 1/4 ham Muffaletta. Salad bar is very good. I love the gingerbread muffins and who can complain about an ice cream cone dessert.

My experience at Jason’s Deli wasn’t all that great. I ordered a “cup” size of Irish potato soup, i finished eating it and realized I wanted more. I then ordered a “bowl” size of the same soup, but when I saw it, it looked like a really small portion. So I poured all of the soup inside of the “bowl”, into the “cup” size. To my surprise, the soup fit perfectly in to cup size! This was a total rip off! I feel like it is misleading and not honest of the company.

The food was very good. We were given a gift card a couple of years and finally had a chance to use it. Thats why we went to Jasons. I had eaten there before and had eaten catered meals from them as well. Unfortunately, and we dont know the reason, the unused card had no money on it. The manager kept checking, but it just wasnt happening. But, we went ahead and purchased the meal and enjoyed our time there. For me there are two things I would mention. The first is that for what we got, the portion size didnt seem quite equal to the price, by just a little. That could just be me. The second thing is that a little more attention should be paid to the mens restroom.

The panini had a bit too much butter. Other than that it’s a typical Jason’s Deli!

I absolutely LOVE The Plain Jane Baked Potato! This is the only thing I get off the menu, very tasty and fulfilling.

Ordered salad bar and was told I could not get another plate after using the first one. Doesn’t make sense that I could not get another bowl. Would’ve filled my first one up more if I had known. Found out they had a sign that said this. Might as well just not have the salad bar if you can’t get another plate. Makes no sense if I could get one plate why can’t I get another. Not like I would be touching more or less than I did when I got the first plate.

Delicious!! I wish I had a photo of the BLT that I got here it was really good.👍-Bathroom was clean.Worker were really friendly and nice.Mask requirements.Social distancing.Tables were cleaned and wiped down.And delicious food. (Try the baked potato)

We had never been there before. I had a royal club and my friend a beef eater. Both were excellent. Our friends ordered a salad bar and a potato, said they were excellent and the potato looked like a football. We all ended up sharing some of it. The ice cream machine was a nice finishing touch. We look forward to returning especially when it gets a little colder and we will try the soups.

Love the food here. It’s always Super quick and tastes great! Free ice cream is always a plus. I recommend the club royal - a generous portion of turkey and Swiss, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mustard between a tasty croissant roll. Marvelous. If you are extra hungry grab one of their oversized potato’s... There are many original options to choose from. I like the Texas spud. The kids seem to love the food too! Many options for a picky kid too choose from. Healthy as well!

A little disappointing. Not because of the variety of the menu choices or the freshness of the salad bar. The dining room was also nice. The issue is the pricing, $7 for a plain potato and a salad and a drink for $11. I was hard pressed to find a sandwich for less than $9. For a cafeteria style restaurant with minimal table service this seems high. On the plus side, kind of..., you can have a free ice cream (which seemed to me to be ice milk).

Delicious . You cant go wrong with Jasons deli . The service is great the food is fresh and heart the salad bar is the best in town .

Great food as my girlfriend and I’s first experience there. Also accommodating because she can’t have gluten. Great food and good for the price! Only thing I think is the whole sandwiches could be a little bit bigger.

They Got my sandwich wrong twice and a waitress served my fruit bowl with her bare hand on top of it. They werent even busy
