Stunning green oasis in the city with a nice water feature. Lots of trees provide shade on hot days. Benches and grassy areas an ideal place for a picnic or to just sit and connect with nature. A fair bit of birdlife too. Also some interesting signs identifying the trees in the garden.

Jardin des plantes is one of botanical garden located in Angers, France. It is very beautiful, it has a lots of collections of flora and also some fauna. You can find some rabbit, and also goat over there. And there is a playground for kids if your kids want to play. There is no entrance fee at all.

Who has never been to this marvelous public garden doesnt know well Angers. More than being beautifully arranged, this garden is a place where everyone, from the youngest child to the elderly people, can meet and chill, read or meet animals... Games for children, but also birds like ducks, swans freely live in the park, others like hens or pigs can be seen by visitors through fences. The atmosphere is really peaceful. Just relaxing in the heart of a medium town...

Lovely gardens to wander around on a Sunday afternoon - cold day but interesting trees and shrubs

The swans are awesome, you can feed them some grass or bread if you keep your hand flat. They snatch a bit, but it doesnt really hurt

What a delightful surprise. We were walking into Angers and came across this Gateway. When we entered we were pleasantly surprised to find a Park an Garden ablaze with colour with bushes, trees and flowers in bloom.The Jardin Des Plantes is an oasis of peace in the centre of Angers, a lovely place to get away from the mess the frameworks are making.

Spent a day in angers and you gotta visit to this garden. Such a great place to take some fresh air and see the sky. Also, there are animals that makes it a bonus cuz I just love them especially the swan which almost bit my finger lol but hey youre gonna love it!
