Japanese Garden - Botanical garden in Montevideo, Uruguay
Nice place to know.
Great garden at its best.
Small but very well made Japanese garden. Very beautiful to walk around and relax.Im sure this place is even more amazing in the spring and summer.
Great experience
Art museum worth going to and Free to enter
Lindo lugar! Es pequeño pero te transporta, prolijo muy bien cuidado. Supongo que en primavera debe ser mas colorido. Se llena en segundos y no es facil sacar fotos. Se admiten sesiones fotográficas entre semana, con previo aviso. Entrada gratuita.
Sublime
Very nice gardens and museum. This is free.
A lovely little Japanese garden. Well maintained.
Ok
Its a small oasis of Zen-ness in the Jardín de los Artistas. If youre close, visit it!
Perfect for pictures, wild life and tons of birds

Tiny but beautiful
Bellisimo...
A nice vibrant picturesque place filled with greeneries.
Beautiful place, but very narrow paths to walk around and strict rules to follow while in there.
It is a great place to visit. It is free.

Cool
Very nice place
Small
Needs maintenance. Small and lovely place, though.
this place is so tiny I am not sure how it can possibly be considered an attraction. if you happen to wander by here take the 2 min it will take to walk the whole garden. otherwise, please dont waste your time coming here.
I’ve been living in Montevideo for 20 years and I had never heard that there was a Japanese garden in the city. So when someone told me, I had to pay it a visit.Of course, it’s not as big as the one in Buenos Aires, but it’s a nice place to visit with your family, your special someone, or even alone. The gardens are really pretty, and the surroundings are beautiful.Try to avoid going on weekends, as it’s usually full of people and you won’t have a nice time (as the place is not too big). But if you enjoy gardening, plants and nature, this place is a must for you.
Very nice place, kept clean. Lovely place
Not a good season to visit it. Flowers are as expected, dying or sad. Will have to try again on the spring.
Just average place. Visit only if you dont have a better plan.
After visiting Blanes gallery we stumbled upon this beautiful place. Highly recommend!

Relaxing
Beautiful but really tiny. On the day of my visit there was a photo shoot happening so be aware that you could wait a bit to get in. The museum next to it is great.
