Jamy's Burger in Mainz

Would be nice if they translate the menu to English, expecting to order a vegetarian burguer with cheese, we order a piece of goat cheese between bread. It was good but still... 😅

Smoked burger, fries and spicy mayo. The lemonade are also great

I paid 24 euro or something for a burger, fries and drink. Fries were mediocre and burger was also mediocre. I think it should cost like 13-14 euro.

An example of terrible service and low empathy. With 3 small children and a person in wheelchair, 37 degree and full sun we needed to sit and eat something and everything else was closed. They did not give us a table because we had no reservation and there were two free inside and 20 tables outside tied with a chain as they did not planned to service those 20 on that date. They were not kind enough to give us a table, I will never again try there.

We had great truffle burgers here. Service is also very kind and attentive, especially Emin! Will definitely come back

Just in the middle of city. Next to the biggest dominant of town you can find this cozy burger place. I was super happy with quality of food and also with kindness of people. So if you want great burger in nice place this is what you are looking for. Had burger with goat chees and it was awesome.

Good burgers, helpful staff. For some reason they asked if we had a reservation, which we didnt and they said they could only seat us in the bar, but the restaurant was never full. They didnt have a menu in English which made it hard to order.

We really liked Jamys. The burger was a smashed style with a nice crispy bark on it with a good quality beef. The toppings were good and fresh plus the potato fries were great. The service was prompt and the server friendly. My very small complaint is the style of bun but thats a matter of personal taste. I wouldve preferred a pretzel bun (not on the menuover the brioche which was a bit dry to my liking. But well be back when we get the chance.

Nice concept. Good service. Vegan burger was ok. The falafel patty was dry and the toppings not exceptionals. Outrageously expensive 17.50 € same price as the meat version with cheese. The vegan one did not even have vegan cheese. The virgin drinks were too sweet.

I am going to say that this is definitely the best burger joint in Mainz. The menu is superb, from food to drinks, and the wide selection of "flavor themes" for burgers and fries is amazing. The interior is fun and classy. The service is great. Did I mention how good the burgers are? Try the red head ;)

So so. Nothing special. Hans Im Glück much better. Prices are way too high for the quality you get. Also in the menu theres a kid menu which says a lemonade is included but then they still charge extra for the drink. So you end up paying 16 euros for a standard burger. Sweet potatoes are also extra priced but is not mentioned in the menu so the end bill is a surprise. Disappointing overall. Never again. Sorry.

Do not go there, very unfriendly employee.The waiter at the entrance on the 4th of January was very rude and disrespectful. It’s not worth it.

Do not recommend foreigners to visit!Noting that by Germany law official papers of vaccination from third countries outside the EU are recognized, the employee at the door would not even look at our official papers the minute we said we weren’t vaccinated in Europe. Even though we have been getting in all restaurants and shops without any problem. I felt very offended and hurt. And would not recommend anyone wanting to have a good to have this experience. I’m sad that my last day of Christmas holiday had to be like this. Save yourself from a bad experience the employee was very unfriendly and at the end even told us to shut the door behind us!

I visited this place on a suuuuuper hot day, I was the thirstiest Ive been in 2021 and had a lemonade here. Cant tell if it was actually good because you know, thirsty.The people were super nice though and thats my only concern so 5 stars to the smiles.

The the shape of the table and chairs promoted a fun relaxed atmosphere.A variety of burgers, buns and extras such as sweet potato fries. The chili Mayo had bite. The patty had flavour.Our waitress was friendly and crossed between German- English with ease.Make an appointment for you and some friends.

Excellent food and very friendly and polite service. Good value for money. 10/10 would recommend.

Food is okay and pricing is okay. Most of the staff are professional and friendly. But there are 3 who could very well go on training to improve their customers service skills, they seems to think they are running a factory and theirs customers are part of their goods!!!

By far, one of the best burgers I had in Germany. The fries were amazing. The homemade limonade was amazing. And the burger, oh my Gauss, the burger. The most perfect burger I ever had.

I had unpleasent experience there and I would NOT visit there again.We waited for about 45 minutes after the order but there was no explanation about a delay but just handed a bowl of french fries that I did not order.Then I complained about it and finally one of staff came to us saying sorry and food will be ready in a few minutes.However the food on my table ,after waiting almost on hour, was not what I have ordered and I just felt like I do not want to eat anymore so I decided to go. Simply one of the best places to get a burger in Mainz, the place is extremely well organized and decorated with great options of food and drinks. The menu is also really well organized and the staff really friendly. I definitely recommend it for everyone

Really good hamburgers, they did not lie about them being homemade. Not more expensive than any other hamburger chain restaurant, but a lot tastier.Totally recommend
