Such a great whisky experience

What an awesome and amazing time we had. Definitely recommend anyone who loves whiskey to visit JSW.

Booked a tour for my husbands birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed the tour and tasting. Colin, our host, was very knowledgeable and gave great insight into the process of making whiskey, even myself as a non whiskey drinker enjoyed the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone, especially those who enjoy great whiskey. Great value for money.

A most worthwhile place to visit

Best ever experience, never in my entire life did I have ever have such an amazing tasting experience from such a knowledgeable guide. Simon is your man. The tour of the facility, the extra information and the tasting was a thing to witness. You will not be disappointed. Big bang for your buck. Also take advantage of their in store purchases. Good value for money.

I placed an online order on 9 November 2021 and paid. To date (17 November 2021I have not received a single update on my order status and it has not even been shipped. No responses to email and they do not answer the number listed on their website.

Amazing experience! Very knowledgeable host and insightful tasting. Highly recommended to anyone, even non whiskey lovers.

This is truly a special place. As a whisky lover I have done the tour 3 times now. A definite must visit for anyone.

This should be a South African Heritage site with all the history that it holds. Very interesting tour, booking required though, with an ever growing selection of the finest whisky in Southern Africa.You will not be disappointed!

incredible experience visiting the distillery we had a little tour around the distillery learning about how whisky is made. You can tell everyone involved is so passionate about what they do, really informative. Came to do quality control for co2 stainless steel and carbon steel job. I found James sedgwick distillery a beautiful place with a friendly environment.

I am a staunch follower of Sedgwick Old Brown but I lately bought 2 x 1 L bottles at two different places. The one tasted watered down and was in a slightly shorter bottle and the other in the slightly taller bottle with a broader lid.I was not convinced that they both came from your factory and feel there might be product copying. Have you checked this out by any chance?

Never been able to get access! (And we only drink Bains whiskey!Seems crazy that we cant buy direct from the distillery?! Theyve now set up tasting and food pairing.. BUT- by appointment only; very expensive! Why not tastings only??

I have never thought I could have a distillery experience of this nature on South African soil. A personal tour, with patience and insight shared with us to feed our curiosity. I also like a host who when he/she doesnt know, says so rather than make it up. It onky happened once but clearly left an impression with me. As for the whisky 😍🥃 #noiceplease

Very disappointed. Only open by prebooking in selected days. Even then after purchasing a ticket. Not as easy as the wine experience. Oh well, we’ll stick with the scotch and new Australian whiskies!
