The space was so small, there wasn’t enough waiters or waitresses. I had asked for a glass of wine from a waitress who refused to serve me because she wasn’t my waitress which wasn’t even the worse part. The waiter who I called still walked pass like 5x before I had to call him again. The food was ok but the service was poor. The only light in that place was the bartender.

My partner and I went for my birthday this year. The food and service was excellent! Our server was so polite and attentive. I also love a place that has excellent ambience and background music (they were playing all my favourite R&B and Afrobeats). We will definitely be going back!

Definitely a nice lunch spot, its pricy in my estimation nonetheless the food is good likewise the customer service is on point. The inside is small and clean, it is supplemented by the ability to dine outside which is small too but nonetheless workable. There is adequate parking on the property which it shares.

The ambiance was great it was quiet and the service was amazing our waitress Nicket was so nice. I would definitely recommend this place as kids are welcome.

Food and drinks were excellent me and my spouse enjoyed it, the lobster Mac in cheese very cheesy and the loaded fries with crispy chicken was a meal in itself along with the jerk Alfredo with chicken I would definitely recommend

The liquor in the restaurant is almost twice as expensive as the store attached. When I went there the door between the two was being held open by old crates but I was barred from purchasing from the store if I wanted to consume the liquor in the restaurant. The two places are clearly owned by the same perosn as staff conducted transactions freely between the two spaces that were dived by the opened door held open by old crates .Also, the food is over priced and mediocre at best.

Good food great service. We had the ackee wontons with a saltfish dip, chicken and waffles with shrimp, and the back danielle burger. My only wish is that their maple syrup for the waffles wasnt so thin. Same for the Johnny walker sauce on the burger. They make a great amaretto sour though. Music was good. It wasnt crowded with people. Nice vibe for a bite with a friend

The food is good. However what I HATE is that they charge a 10% service charge that does not go to the servers. In essence they are robbing us as customers and the servers of their tip. Disgusting.

Not a bad place to just catch up with friends and enjoy a drink or two. The loaded fries were lovely and they have some lovely wine choices. Ill definitely go back again.

Im never quick to give bad reviews, but the food was awful, me and my friends ordered the alfredo pasta with chicken, beer battered wings and mashed potatoes and the food had absolutely no taste we tried adding salt and it didnt make a difference. Been wanting to visit this place over a year now and when I finally did I was so disappointed, wouldnt recommend...

Went on a Saturday for a late lunch..Its more of a place to grab a good bite rather than a "date night" vibe.My waiter was pleasant and didnt hesitate to redo our fries order which was overly salted.The grounds are small but clean and kept. Parking may be tight if you go on a busy night.Food tasted good. Menu and drink options were varied and price $$-$$$.Id go back.

Great environment & food, and Burger week is always something to look forward to, but Im always here for their pastas. While there you can grab a drink from the bar, or pick one up from the attached liquor mart

Never been disappointed with the food here! Good service, decent prices and a pleasant atmosphere that feels like home. Because its off the beaten track, its the perfect place for a quick meal whether you are by yourself or with friends. Also right next door is a store with a wide range of wines, spirits and party supplies.

The space is actually quite small therefore when its packed, it gets really noisy and you can barely hear yourself or whoever you may be speaking to. The food was also cold when it arrived...in terms of taste, it was okay. Our waitress was very attentive though and quite friendly. The service was great.

I drove across Kingston just for the Chowder and had to order another serving to go. Absolutely delightful comfort food, really just wish it was a larger portion size.Servers and staff were incredibly helpful and attentive.Decided to try the Beer Battered Fish and Chips and while it was satisfying, the batter was too much for the small strips of fish, discarded half the batter.

The food was good our waitress was wonderful however there was an issue with the bills either having and extra item or the persons getting other persons meals on their bill tough a large group I understand but really only fault

One of my favorite spots to go to because I can guarantee they will serve me up great tasting food. The service sometimes isn’t the best, you are left waiting for extended periods but other than that it’s lovely. It’s a nice place to brunch especially or to have lunch with the girls. And if you’re eating on a budget, you still have options at this restaurant because they’re not so expensive. You should definitely visit!

Ok. Probably one of the worst experiences ever for me.Im not quick to give bad reviews, but I felt bamboozled when my boyfriend and I visited this restaurant.The place was super tiny. Even the bathroom was so small when I went to wash my hand. I guess its to give you a "homey" vibe, but I wasnt feeling it at all.The food looked good online so I was excited to try it, but let me tell you... I have never been so disappointed before. The food looked blah and mine was extremely oily. Felt uneasy for days after having it. It was some sort of Pasta with olive oil. (Forgot to take a picture).Needless to say Ive never been there again after that.

Omg...what an experience! Great food, even better drinks. On top of that, our server was excellent. My fav was the bbq pork chops...y’all didn’t have to turn up my tastebuds like that. It was so juicy and tender...flavour was on point. Ouuu and that sauce was it! Thank you for making my friend’s birthday even better.

EXCELLENT quality food! I have dined at this restaurant multiple times, and im always happy with my meal. From brunch, all the way to dinner. JLW never seems to disappoint. The wines were perfectly chilled and paired well with my dishes. Dont forget to check out the liquor store right next to the restaurant! A great location for holiday gifts and your everyday supplies :)

When the first bite causes you to stop breathing, close your eyes, sigh and shake your head...............its probably a done deal!!! #winning I visited for Burger Week. I wanted to maximise on the experience so I ordered the Slider Platter: Beef, Lamb and Fish. Everything tasted fresh; bread fresh, condiments fresh, meat hot-off-the-grill FRESH! Our Server could have been a bit more attentive. She didnt make suggestions re upgrading our seasoned fries, didnt follow up for our drink order. There was a little wait for the meal, but MANNNN!!!!! was it worth it! Ill definitely be heading back here for casual and celebratory dining.

I honestly like this restaurant, the customer service is excellent and I love the outdoor seating. The menu is surprisingly affordable, with a good selection of choices. They seem to pay attention to detail and is always ready to ensure the customers are comfortable. A truly wonderful dining experience.

Now firstly, Im not one of those persons quick to dismiss/write off restaurants on my first go, but this visit was honestly atrocious.Its a small, cozy place which was encouraging but that didnt dictate quick attendance. My table waited a good few minutes before someone actually came to attend to us. When they came they said theyd soon come which was another 10 minutes before they took our order.After waiting for almost 45 minutes the waiter came to tell us that the soup we ordered was finished. This was after assuring us that it was still there. We took the other option which when it came was watery and salty as like someone tried to stretch a meal.The waiter kept telling us hed soon come with the food but still took another 10-15 before coming at intervals.We ordered some corn but when it came was stale and almost spoiling.The experience was just unsatisfactory.Nonetheless the waiter apologised immensely for the poor service 🤷🏽‍♀️

Very cozy and tucked away somewhat. You can have your food and shop for liquor at the same time. The pastas are great... So far.

The food here is awesome! The menu variety and quality is great. Sunday brunch is also fabulous. The actual venue is on the small side so it can get cramped quickly. The service is okay, but the wait time could be improved. Also the prices are definitely on the higher side, but for the quality of food its worth it.

Parking tight. Luckily it wasnt too busy when we went. Garlic mashed potatoes and garlic bread were really good. Potatoes had a hit of coconut milk in there. Wings were just okay, wasnt wowed by it.

Sighz. I was really looking forward to eat here but the restaurant is really small which makes it really loud because you can hear every single persons conversation. The waitresses were nice and pleasant but the service was poor because theyre slow (we ordered at around 9 and we didnt get our food until about 10:20). I ordered the boneless chicken breast which was tasty and my partner ordered the pork alfredo lol the pork was dry but the pasta itself was good.

The customer service was great. The good was good and the atmosphere welcoming. The drink was sweet and they remade it, no complaints. The space is smaller than expected though. However, they have a wide range of liquors available.

For one thing it can be said that the quality of the customer service fluctuates. What I absolutely loved is that the day before my reservation (which I made onlinethey called to confirm it. What I did not like was the attitude of the representative after she requested to speak with an adult and I told her I was one. The call ended with me speaking with another representative who was much more pleasant.The workers at the restaurant were all lovely and well trained. The sad thing for me was that the meal was started out subpar. There was nothing special nor was it tasty where you would want to lick your ten fingers. Maybe even five.I had taken the corn chowder soup (sorry to say I forgot to take a picture of it). The soup was way too thick and for me, not executed well. I also took grilled wings which were okay. For my entrée I had the Alfredo Fettuccini with grilled chicken which was what upgraded my overall experience from subpar to average.I have interested pictures of my entrée and my lunch companions as well.

The experience was good, though a little small the ambiance equated fine dining. The service impeccable and the food quite tasty. Id definitely recommend

Food was good but takes awhile and the waiter was nice. Drinks are iffy depending on the one you choose. Mojito had too much mint and complained about it and was told it was a minty drink. Yes its a mint drink but Im not supposed to be eating the mint through the straw.

We arrived late. They close at 12, but the kitchen closes at 10:30. When we arrived the kitchen had just closed off but the waiter was so nice he made an exception and got us our food. Great customer service. The venue was smaller than I imagined and the food was delicious.

This place has good service and the food is good and reasonably priced. The only draw back is the space. Its very small and a bit too close for comfort. All in all an ok experience. Nothing special

The service was excellent. The food was good not great. The Ackee wonton was delicious, the pasta and mac and cheese was just ok and i enjoyed the brownie for dessert. Overall experience was good. Would recommend. Place was smaller than I expected though.
