Jama - Moroccan restaurant in Marrakech, Morocco
Reasonable prices, and the food was great.
Bautiful cosy place...loved it.
After 20 minutes, still no drinks in sight. We ordered two simple drinks so we didnt understand why I takes so long. Staff wasnt very friendly and didnt seem to be bothered.
We read reviews about this and thought we had to give it a try. Fairly easy to find considering it was off the main square.Service with a smile and couldnt be more helpful or acccomdatiing. One of the best lamb and prune tagines we have ever had. This was made even better when thr waiter said his mum was tbr chef. Highly recommend Jama lovely homemade food and at a good cost.
Really nice space, low prices for excellent simple food (not fussy but very goodand friendly service. Definitely worth a short wander away from the square.
Its a very nice and warm place, really authentic and traditional, with very nice tazim in really good price! The staff is very friendly and warm hearted! Youll definitely enjoy your time and your food here!
Very nice and romantic place!! Extremely friendly staff! Feels like our second home every time we go there.
Really good place to come for a romantic dinner with your partner, they have a beautiful patio and was decorated with candles everywhere, the food was really good, its a family business and the attention to customer was really good. Definitely I recommend it and would come back.
Very nice place! Very romantic atmosphere in the evening with candle lights and nice decor. The food was also very good and cheap! I have said to the riad where we stay to recommend the place to next guests.
An authentic family restaurant that is definitely worth the detour. My advice is to try several dishes of the menu, you will love them!Very friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended for lunch or diner.
Very good
Best food we’ve had in Marrakech so far! We ordered the Pastilla, which was a sweet almond pastry with cinnamon and chicken inside. Very different from anything we’d had before. The waiter was also very nice and attentive to our needs, and the ambiance is really nice.
This family business offers one of the best delicious tajines that I have tried in Marrakesh. The place is relaxing and cozy. It is an ideal place if you were looking for traditional Moroccan food mixed with a Moroccan touch
A 100% Moroccan traditional restaurant
... with nice roof terrace ...
A nice place for dinner. Very good food.
Great restaurant that includes beer, whiskey, and wine tasting! Highly recommend!
Great value and good food
Food was good, but staff were very unattentive, payed no attention to us. Cheap food, expensive beers
Nice atmosphere. Tagines very good. Skewers bit dry. Staff on their phones not caring much.
The food was great and not as expensive as in other restaurants with the same options. The atmosphere is fantastic, mostly at night with the candles lightning the patio. Very traditional and the staff is also quite nice.
Nice, casual, easy food
Portion was Poor.
Meh... tourist teap
Waiting time for a plate - 45 minutes. Staff - quite slowFood - delicious lamb with plums little bit smaller servingsMenu - drinks without prices ( Morocco style)
I can NOT recommend this place at all. It looks nice from outside but the service is really rude, and the food even worse. Before we ordered we had some questions about the food, the waitress answered unfriendly. I ordered a tea for 15DH, it wasnt a fresh one and the quantity of liquid was just a big joke. Two sips and it was gone. Two friends ordered a salad and fell sick afterwards with diarrhea because it wasnt clean. The forth person ordered a vegetarian couscous for 50DH. There were no spices at all! And the vegatables werent fresh either. When she asked them for salt and pepper they said they didnt have any(on the two salads they served there was!!and that that was the way how it was supposed to taste like. When we paid (seperatehe insulted us in Arabic and in English was fake friendly saying thank you very much many times in a provocative tone. And "ok bye bye" over and over again. As a résumé: too expensive, no hospitality at all, rude, awful food, awful service. Dont waste your money here.
Simple but really tasty food. Best food I had during my stay in Marrakech.
Really nice place! Loved the road experiencie as a restaurant
Amazing
nice little garden if you want to get away from the busy street
Horrible food! Horrible staff! Super rude and unprofessional!
Nice calm place with good traditional food for a good price. The Harira soup is tasteful as is the lamb tagine.Service was welcoming and nice as well.Recommendable.
The good was simple but delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. Great!
Doesnt look special, my girlfriend and I stumbled into this place, not knowing it beforehand as we were really tired from walking for most of the day. Didnt expect much but the food was really good, got the beef kefta with eggs, tomato salad and the chicken and lemon tagine, all were delicious and was cheap. really nice for a quiet lunch
Very tasty morroccan dishes. Lovely patio. Low prices. I would recommend to order an apetizer and a main, as portion sizes are not too big. We had a morrocan salad, veggie couscous and a lamp and prune tagine. Everything was really tasty. It’s a family run restaurant , highly recommend. Nothing fancy, but a very pleasant experience
Nice place, cool atmosphere!Quiet, near a very busy street!
Great food, very tasty, but limited dessert offert. Nice ambient. Romantic and quiet.
Pretty family restaurang in Medina! The food tasted amazing! We order tagine and it was The best we tasted i marrakech! Truly recommended!
"Worst service in Marrakech "!After reading so great reviews We have been excited to go and experienced it ourself. But massive at dissapointment came. We have been seated after waiting for 10 minutes between the doors. Service ignore us for another 10 minutes even was not so busy. When we try order the food the waiter was very rude and making a faces and keep talking in French with another staff and keep running away from our table .It was very embarrassing. When we decided leave without ordering food the waiter instead apologise was shouting something in French on us.We stayed in Morocco for 2 weeks and had amazing time but this was very rude behaviour. Trees in patio looks ok but we have seen much nicer places in Marrakech.
Nice staff and nice patio with plenty of plants. We tried tajine and it was very good. Prices are low but that is because portions are small (small compared to other marrocan restaurants, but large enough for us!!). If you walk over there, it is a good cheap option to visit.
Abysmal service. The wait staff bickered among themselves and kept confusing our order and bill. The food was okay.
Service was excellent. Super friendly and welcoming. Food is good with reasonable prices. Had the couscous and lamb tajine. Atmosphere is quaint. Had a personal space heater out for our table since it was a chilly night.
