Food quality and quantity both are very good. Food are very tasty. Authentic Bengali food. Most try mutton kosha. Many types of fish available everyday.

I ate few months ago. Foods are amazing and mind blowing.

A small hotel for dining good in preparing fish dishes, local prefer this hotel for fish dishes especially.

Jagannath Hotel in college street near Adi Mohini Mohan Kanjilal is very good hotel for lunch and dinner etc. Today We visited this hotel for lunch and we really enjoyed lunch here. Chicken thali is Rs.160 and fish is Rs.160 too. Extra chicken Rs.130 for medium piece of chicken. For us, for two people it costa Rs.450/- we had Pui Saak, Dal & Bhaja, Chicken Or fish. Chatni at the end. And yes rice is unlimited.Here are some pics.

Beautiful place for Bengali food.

They have intentionally didnt give any menu, to charge absurd prices to customers.This is really a cheat restaurant, frozen rice, watery dal, one oily veg curry and puny small fish is 200 inr.Ok they give lemon,salt, onion and plastic glass to drink water also.Still I feel its very expensive for the quality of the meal they are serving.

The fish (katla)was stale.the price of veg thali containing only rice, jhuri aloo bhaja karola bhaja and musur dal (too thinfor Rs.70/- seem to be too high.

One of the favourite and busiest Hidden wonders for authentic Bengali food lovers. This place is located at the heart of college Street in the Bornoporichoy market. Partially run by the Pice hotel rules this place is known for a serving a wide range of fish delicacies. Also you can try the chicken or Mutton in this eatery. This place also do serve a good list of Bengali vegetable delicacies often with a non veg twist. A good place for office working people, and a sure try for ever Bengali dish loving foodie....PS- Till date they use only the hand grinded spice mixes and no dry commercial ones. A lunch would cost you approximately 200/- rupees for a person.

After reading an article we went to this place with high expectations. This place is very close to our home , so went there with a friend. The basic thing that every restaurant do is to serve water in a glass but they didnt bother to serve water , only there was a water bottle kept on the table & no glass was provided . Now comes to the food part it was way below average in taste the dal/lentils was like the proportion of the water in the dal was much higher so there was no taste .The fish curry was on the sweeter side and I didnt like that but the quality of the fish was good , jackfruit curry was the only good thing about the whole meal.Very much disappointed with this place

This place is dedicated to fish lovers. Only problem I noticed is space constraints and cleanliness of the peripheral area. You can try this out.

I really love this place. This hotel is in central kolkata. Near college street more. I promise you u will never find better mid-budget hotel than Jagannath Hotel. I had visited it very often. I specifically went there for jhirijhiri fries. The fish here also served very good. Fine basmati rice, tasty vegetables,spicy dal— what else you can wish for 😊. So if you ever come to college street after all this corona situation, do visit it once. You will love it.

Very bad experience...youtube video dekhe try korte geachilam....very poor service....no one listening....food quality is like roadside hotel of howrah just banana leaf added...very few items are available... price is also high compared to food quality and service.... better i recommend dont try... Nyc place for couple of days...I had a peaceful outing...The service staff was good...Its in a walking distance from the station as well as from the market...The best thing was a south indian reasturant which is a minute away from the hotel.
