Health conscious cafe serving meat-free international dishes alongside deli produce to take out.
Jagannath in Vnukovo
Description
Privilege
Its not Indian, just name is Jagannath. They have worst food. Dont try this restaurant in misconception of Indian. Cold chapati and vegetables may be prepared 4-5 days ago . It is good may be for Russian food non vegetarian. But not vegetarian Indian food.
MoreFood needs a lot of help. Maybe blessings of Jagannath is needed. Avoid for meals. Food served was clod and tasteless and not remotely Indian.
MoreAwesome vegan food, traditional Russian and Indian originals, good price and good quality! A must for vegans in Moscow!
MoreThis has to be the worst indian food I had in my life. Please dont call yourself an indian restaurant. I feel the reviews are either fake or paid, they cannot be real. Thoroughly disappointed.
More(+Good variety of vegan/ vegetarian food.(-If you are dining outside, make sure not to leave your food unattended, since nasty pigeons wont miss the opportunity to feast on it.
MoreReasonably priced. No meed to buy dessert as they add sugar in every dish served. Looks like Gujarati food
MoreTasty food, and prices are good. If youre vegetarian and in Moscow this is the place for you. They have home delivery as well.
MoreIt is a vegetarian restaurant or better to call Canteen.I like Indian food they serve. It is a bit overpriced.located in a very good area accessible with all kind of transportation.
MoreA little bit out of service today: WiFi doesnt work, cash only, no tables on veranda.Food is always delicious!
MoreLove the vegetarian & vegan choices (though a lot is fried). More seating here (both restaurant & separate cafethan other locations. "Jagannath" cheesecake dessert is amazing. Item name cards now include English
MoreAwesome place and must visit for vegetarian food. I really liked the indian dishes over there and this place put me close to my country. I never realized I would be able to get such great indian food there. Would definitely recommend the palak paneer with chapati. Also they have a store along with the restaurant and you get to buy indian snacks and spices etc. Loved it
MoreVery good vegetarian restaurant in Moscow, the food is sooo yummy!! Buffet where you can see the food which really help to decide what you want. Also food descriptions in English too.
MoreFor a vegetarian who doesn’t have too many options in a city like Moscow this places comes in as a blessing. First lots of vegetarian options second it is all vegan. And the best of all is that the taste doesn’t get compromised. Must visit if you ever land up like me in Moscow and are searching for a vegetarian option.
MoreIts the first location of this now quite popular vegetarian chain cafe. I like how they have a separate cafe area and a cafeteria area with a big dining hall. The problem is that it can get pretty packed at times, otherwise no complains.
MoreIf you want to eet simple but tasty vegan/vegetarian food for reasonable price its the place to be. Kind of cafeteria. Buy vegetarian card for 100 roebels (~ €14and you will get discount in several places.
MoreNice decorated place with fantastic food and drinks from healthy cuisine. Pricing is also fine. The issue was with long lines of people, super long waiting time for food to get. No places to sit, waiting for the toilet, still bouncing around to other people or staff bringing thing from and to the kitchen at the end if the restaurant. Overall experience was not really pleasant as you won’t even have time and zen to enjoy and absorb the fantastic dishes. They can improve a lot and change the setup from fast food chain to real jagannath.
MoreGreat place to eat vegetarian/vegan/raw food in Moscow at affordable price. My personal favourites are lentil soup dahl and vegan olivie salad (I think it is only one vegan version of this traditional Russian salad in Moscow so far). Sweets are super delicious, I truly recommend them if you are into it. You can check their lunch options as well during weekdays.
MoreRussian "stolovaya" with Indian food. Food BTW is good, my Indian colleague rated it high. They use microwaves to heat. One may want the place to be a bit more cleaner... but one may be too demanding for "stolovaya" 😁
MoreVarieties of well prepared vegetarian foods and very nice atmosphere.
For the cheap price the food was good. Ive visited other vegan restaurants in Moscow which were overall way fancier and more culinary than this one. But the price makes up for it.We ate here for 1400 R ( three person; salad, beverage and two other foods for Each; <500 R per person for not bad meal)
MoreIt is a great place for vegetarian, vegan or raw food. Everything taste delicious. They also have grocery store there with huge variety of stuff. Highly recommend this place.
MoreExcellent and tasty vegetarian and vegan options that is very reasonably priced and not too far away from the main attractions in Moscow
MoreThis is s great vegetarian restaurant in the center. Its cafeteria style, so you just take a tray, order your food in the line and pay at the end. It also has a great shop for getting big vegan sausages and excellent vegan cheese along with many typical health" food" products.
MoreGood tasting food even though it is vegan and indian. Pay for the things you take. Good variety and taste. Paneer and chick pea were really nice.
MoreI was pleasantly surprised with choices and comfort of that place.Calm and soothing atmosphere of a Hindustan style and music.Plain and nutricious food.Small Vegan shop with large selection of food, spices and remedies.
MorePure vegetarian restaurant.... Taste is European and not like indian food.lots of varieties available for breakfast, meals and desert. Rates are reasonable....
MoreGood place for everybody who likes vegetation and vegan food! People just starting their veg life can find simulation of meat dishes here: sausages, soya meat and many more. There are great variety of salads and soups also. Its not restaurant, self-service is there, but stuff take away used kitchenware. One should pay attention to desserts and hot drinks. Its tasty and light, specially raw desserts like Tiramisu made of oat, cacao and coconut milk
MoreNot fresh at all. Grabli is way better if you are already here go to Grabli. If you want more choices go to Obed Buffet un New Arbat. Save yourself!
MoreVery nice place. You can take everything - it will be vegetarian and tasty. Sometimes not so fresh as could be, but anyway good enough! I like this food network! Especially places with life music and songs! Youll receive a discount if you have "Vegetarian" card!
MoreThey have cheap and good in terms of taste vegetarian lunches, but for me the portions are small (though still adequate for the prices)
MoreProbably one of the oldest vegetarian restaurants in Moscow. Canteen style but great selection of delicious foods! Make sure to ask the staff to make the food warm ;-)
MoreVery nice value for money for hungry Indian travellers in particular. The setting is for a surprise for Indian. The food is tasty and low on spice. Bit of a familiar vibes. Food is low on spices and suits the taste for Russian people who must be 99.9% of their clientele.
MorePleasant vegan outlet with courteous and helpful staff who also speak English. It’s a very decent cafe for quick bite and great coffee. I had breakfast here and was very satisfied with the choices at very reasonable price. Healthy and great tasting veg burrito with coffee at 200 is wonderful. Apple pie tasted great aswell. Overall for relaxed quick bite with outdoor seating at resonance price this place scores and won’t disappoint. Best wishes to the management and staff for keeping this vegan.
MoreVery confusing selection of food in buffet ,atmosphere tried to giving impression of india dhaba, play old hindi songs but u feel good having indian food with out normal roti , cost approx @750 per
MoreDear All,I am sorry to post that but I dont like food at all.To being Indian my first impression was the staff at least know English but none of the staff knows English.I have ordered Roti but it is worst I even eat. Paneer is one of the worst example too.The price also high. So I will not recommend to any Indian for the food. Its very disappointed. The name is used as JAGANATH is lord Krishna and its really bad to cheat people with such bad quality food
MoreThis is my favorite vegetarian restaurant buffet in Moscow. Food is good and not very expensive. A nice place to eat and to rest from the hectic Moscow life. Their desserts are worth trying...
MoreGreat option for cheap (under 500 ruband tasty vegetarian meals. Definitely try their rice and cherry balls and tomato soup!
MoreNot among the most friendliest of staffs, nevertheless the food on display was quite inviting. Veggies and the curries looked quite convincingly North-Indian and the background was subtly filled with Bollywood music. The concept seemed quite nice, but is quite specific and thus I feel there is a lack of the common folks inflow.
MoreIf u r n indian dont go there for an Indian style restaurant. They career to the russian veg community. The food is not absolutely indian cuisine in taste but in russia it is almost as close as it gets. It is one of those russian eating places where u pay by weight. Price is pretty decent and u can have a pretty decent meal for 300-500 roubles.
MoreGood Vegan/Vegetarian Homecooked / Cafeteria Style Food. Very inexpensive and healthy, and tasty. All food is labeled to indicate vegan (green signsand vegetarian (orange signs). I am happy to have found this chain of stores. Not as clean or quiet as the one on Prospect Mira but still better than nonvegan places. 3 toilets were empty when I was there but werent that clean. Staff was not that friendly, but thats Russian standard.
MoreGood vegetarian and vegan food, nice place, price is ok. Toilet always occupied
Its not the kind of vegan place us American know of. They make their food in bulk and then warm it up for you in a MICROWAVE...seriously!!!!! Defeats the purpose of going organic and vegan.Ok so with that said, every time I go I have a negative experience with this or that. They have 0 concept of customer service. They need to seriously get it together.Choose another vegan option.
MoreGo to Avocado or Fresh instead!!!! Here they dont speak English. Really cheap. They serve everything cold but offer to heat it up in a microwave!!! I must laugh at how horrible this food tasted because otherwise I will cry. We ate at Avocado and Fresh and had such amazing vegan and vegetarian experiences this was a really set back for the taste buds. No flavor, cheap, cold, I lost my apatite completely. If you want a good good experience this will make you cry because everything about it is absolutely horrible.
MoreJagannath is definitely my favourite vegetarian/vegan place in Moscow! The food is really delicious and prices are good. They serve lots of interesting dishes and drinks. Highly recommend this place!
MoreVegetarian and vegan self-service diner. Quality of food isnt amazing but comparing to others European capitals vegan central locations - pretty good. Here since 00s wow
MoreBuffet style. English spoken. Meal for 2 was about $12 for 5 dishes. Good variety but nothing jumped out at me taste wise.
MoreMost popular and very well known vegetarian place. Crowded and overpriced. Its not a restaurant- its a type of canteen but you dont take food by yourself - you stay in line and have to ask for this or that piece.By everything is pre-prepared and will be cold. You have to ask to warm it up in a microwave. (Thruly vegan way, huh?)Food itself is quite bold and most of the stuff hate their job or just act extremely tired every time.Good thing - you can take a coffe and occupy a table for a day, surrounded by vegetarians.Bad thing - wifi password lasts for 30 minutes and printed on you check.Tip: Make sure you get vegetarian card, it gives good discount there and in some other veg places in Moscow.
MoreYou can see the meals at the counter, so even without speaking russian you get what you want. There is even a vegetarian shop. They accept credit cards. The neighborhood is nice to walk around.
MoreLots of great choices at this vegetarian cafe and very well-priced. Take a tray and pick out what you like from prepared items behind glass case. Sometimes the food isnt so hot, but I think you can ask to have it warmed up. Theres not much English spoken here, but you pretty much just have to point and nod yes or no so English-speakers shouldnt have much issue. Save room for dessert - its the best part!
MoreDesigned for people caring about what they eat and what their food is made of, this café is good for trying out various spicy Indian-style foods, even though some of the dishes taste a bit different from what they should taste like, maybe being "adapted" for the habits of local customers.
