Visited there for experience the Jaffna vibes.. enjoyed a sherbat drink from a small vendor which was very tasty and most importantly without any after effects 😉😉

Jaffna is a little more reserved than other places in Sri Lanka. Almost a fear or uncertainty undercurrent.

Plan to go shopping in Jaffna, this market has many things that is unique to this town. Namely, mangoes, Point Pedro wade (Parathuthrey wada, "nice" (A sweet snack mainly found in this city, Dried fish. and a good place to get fresh vegetables also. Tip: Visit at least several shops before you buy an item. These sellers are extremely persuasive. Also, try the nelli Juice (Indian gooseberry juice). also get palmyra palm products since they are only found here.
