Food was cold , chips were reheats, curry sauce was congealed, whole meal was inedible

The food took 2.5 hours to be delivered and called the restaurant and they said its because they are busy and will be sent out within 15 mins 30 mins later it is still not here. If they changed there wait time on uber then I would understand but they are still taking orders.

Excellent. We ordered Duck Curry, chicken chow main and prawn crackers. Order was correct, piping hot, tasty even around 3 miles and promptly in around half an hour. Will be ordering again soon.

Been there a few times tried different dishes . I must say the portions are very small. Taste of the food are not consistent . The portion on the menu mentioned Large size . But it was a small when I received it . Although price is reasonable but nothing else is good . Real disappointments.

I can honestly say the worst Chinese I have ever ordered. The crispy Thai spiced chicken was totally burnt and inedible. Even the prawn crackers were dreadful. Gutted my mrs got me this for fathers day

Ordered from here a few times now, best to order direct than via an app as it’s cheaper. Lovely selection of tofu and vegetarian dishes. Food arrived with a 1hr wait yesterday which is reasonable, and included a few free spring rolls which is always appreciated.

Ordered £40 worth of a complete load of garbage and thats where it ended up.No prawns in the burnt toast.No meat on ribs with a foul tasting black sludge bbq sauce .you can only image what the rest was like.Would off give minus 5 .1 is a bonus.

Absolutely disgusting and worst Chinese in Coventry ordered on just eat at 8pm and didnt get the order until 11pm it was stone cold.

Wont be ordering from there again horrible no other words for it

Service is good food is absolutely fabulous best Chinese in town honestly. The Chicken Chow Main nudges I Serena of them the wantans amazing the spring rolls just perfect. I love this place we order regularly

Delivery time on uber eats said between 6:50 and 7:10. Food hadnt arrived at 7:50, it took me around 15 attempts to get through to speak to someone at the takeaway. I was then told food was on its way. Food arrived luke warm, chicken curry was flavourless, the sauce was congealed and chips were soggy. Worst Chinese Ive ever had.

horrible, my boyfriend has been throwing up since early this morning! he had prawn rice and i think its safe to say it has put him off for life!! and he loves prawns!! Thanks for poisoning my boyfriend....not to mention we waited an hour for the food to come. Next time im settling for a mcdonalds!! if you want to be spewing at 5 oclock in the morning then highley reccomend!!!

To be honest, the restaurant isnt a popular one for Chinese food in Coventry and especially among students but it definitely should be! Everything I have ordered was super tasty, fresh and have come in the perfect temperature! The prices are very low and the portions are very big! I totally recommend it!

The format does not allow me to leave 0 stars which would be my choice. The Tom yum soup was unidentifiable as such and inedible. The Thai spicy chicken fried rice consisted of burnt, clearly frozen, chicken and utterly tasteless rice. If you are thinking of ordering, just DONT!

I thought I’d give this place a go the reviews were very mixed so I placed and order.. then it all went downhill my order took 2 hours to arrive and this isn’t an exaggeration. I wish I could post pictures of the food when it arrived I can’t even say it was worth the wait. Lucky I had an Uber eats code so I didn’t waste more money!

We have been customers of Jade House for many weeks now and we are delighted with the service they provide. The food is always delicious,the delivery guys are always so friendly and happy in what they do... and the delivery is always faster than any time estimate we are given. We definitely would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for quality Chinese cuisine and we will continue to enjoy their service for a long time. Chinese kitchen let us down so we decided to try a new place and I can now say they lost 4 customers!! Jade House was a crowd pleaser after getting past the long wait the Singapore noodles, hawian fried rice and Wonton soup was so tasty we will be back to try more from the menu😁

Ordered on uber eats at 6.09pm food arrived at 8.03pm after uber saying delivery between 7.10-7.30pm. When food arrived had a voicemail from driver saying Ive knocked your door 3x and no answer, despite me standing at my front window looking at my door, then I open the door and the driver walks from down the road... Obviously didnt knock my door! Food is below average, salt and pepper chips lack flavour, plain chips were hard, egg fried rice was dry and undercooked, chicken curry was slime like and so thick, chicken. Chow mein was cold, chicken balls were OK and pancake roll was OK too. But this is my first order and definitely my last order.

Food ordered 6.45pm, estimated delivery 7.40pm.. its 8.47pm now and no sign of the food.No courtesy call to advise delays too.These people are not getting anymore orders from us. Doesnt matter how good the food is.

delivery 1hr & 15 mins late, to then call up twice 30 mins apart to be told they have not even cooked your food yet and to wait another 15-20 mins! absolutely disgusting... ordered through ubber eats and will not be using this place again! over 2 hours for delivery is an absolute joke!!!

Always been nice food at reasonable prices. Been ordering there for two decades. Staff there are always friendly. Very apologetic if they have a busy night and food takes a few minutes longer than usual which I find is a mark of good service.Also a decent 5 star food hygiene rating which I require at a minimum of 4 for me to eat at an establishment. If you cant keep a clean kitchen dont expect my money.

Waited over an hour for the food and the order was wrong so kids wouldnt eat it . Many thanks. Was my first time here and will be my last. Try looking at the delivery note next time.

Waited over 45 mins for food despite being told 25mins then when the food arrives, there is an item missing. Was told would be another 15 mins to get the missing item but couldnt guarantee the time. Complete incompetence and didnt even offer a refund. The staff are rude and they talk over you!!!!!!!! Do not use these if you want the correct order that is on time and actually get what you ordered!!!!!!!!!!. The only good thing about the king prawn curry was the prawns, the sauce was bland and tepid to touch. Again do not bother with this place, awful customer service that do not want to take responsibility for their mistakes! A suggestion for the owner, close the business if you cant provide the food ordered and provide good customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the only Chinese we use in Coventry these days. Good food every time. They are happy to swap around the set menus a bit so that we get exactly what we want. The delivery is usually prompt and they now bring a card machine which makes it really easy to pay securely by card.Look no further for your takeaway night in!

Awful experience rude staff refused to get out of car and deliver to door- beef tasted like it had been taken from the bin and have been suffering all night - thanks for the food poisoning guys! Food was cold and tasteless - massive waste

Went to the venue in person (crazy). Very busy, but helpful staff trying to navigate the specific type of noodles we wanted.Happy with the food, tasted good didnt wait too long and price was good enough, would recommend! Also walking distance for any students beats the cliche of dominoes!

Hot and sour soup was awful. Really thick and gloopy. Food generally had no flavou . Will not be using again!

The Jade House has been my regular Chinese Takeaway of choice for years. Guaranteed quality food and service.

Will never order from here again £21.30 for nothing we didnt eat it it was bland we asked for Singapore chow Mein to have abit of flavour but everything tasted she same the chips tasted like they was reheated from last night she salt and pepper chicken was so dry dried to call but no answer

After trying so many different chinese takeaways in Coventry and left disappointed we eventually found Jade House on google and have now eaten 3 times from here and i have no words to express how amazing the food has been everytime. Thank you so much to all the lovely staff.

Beautiful food everytime I order always on point, always on time or before the time they say, very friendly , even the delievery guy is friendly , chicken curry is just out this world would highly recommend, an they know no me when I ring from my phone number so they are really good with there regulars I ordered an paid by card an i left something out extra curry sause so I rang up an the guy sorted it free of charge little things like that go a long way lovely people and anther time I order salt and pepper chicken online but come as wings when normally I get them as little pieces slight confusion on my side , I rang them explained I do not eat meat on the bone they stoped of the one I fort I ordered defo go up an beyond for there customers xx

Jade House remains our Chinese takeaway of choice - even though we no longer live in the area or within the delivery zone. The quality of food cant be beaten.

I come here often, on a weekly or fortnightly basis. The food is great and the staff are extremely pleasant. I would give a 5/5 but to be perfectly honest, the food can sometimes not taste as good as it can be or has been. I would say if I visited 10 times, the food would be up to "my" standards around 70% of the time.

I dont know why people complain about this place but I love getting food from this place! Maybe because I usually order chow mein or rice dishes which is fantastic!

Unfortunately I didnt enjoy this food and threw it away! Soggy chips, Pure fat on ribs, undercooked beef, mushrooms tossed in raw at the end. It didnt even smell appetising.

Apalling. Chicken satay was in a runny, vaguely peanut-coloured sauce.Duck was under-cooked.Chicken udon and thai red curry were cooked in the same jelly-based sauce with undisolved red curry paste still floating about in the curry.When we complained they insisted on the food being returned before issuing a refund.Hope no one else is ordering the same meal as us tonight!

Both my hubby and myself have brought food from here we both love the food the service is very good and there always polite...I guess we cant please every one hey

Just ordered from here omg I have had better food from a burger van yuk! All the food is oily and fried its the worst take away I have had in Coventry. If you want decent Chinese food order from Jade Palace not from this rubbish place I will never order from here! Avoid avoid avoid!

Ordered just after 8, the restaurant decided to cancel our order but didnt decide to tell us this until 9:41 leaving us hungry... Highly recommend!
