Jade Garden in Wonju

Calm and rather not spacy. But full of delight inside.

Forget what you have seen before. Jade Garden is given one from mother of nature. Beautiful moss has formed on the rock. Green leaves and colorful flowers nourish your soul.

Beautiful manicured garden built into the side of a mountain with a ton of convenient resting spots. Perfect for a leisurely stroll on a lazy weekend afternoon.

It is a beautiful arboretum aged over decade.It follows the natural contour and plantation with the design intention of English garden.worthy to visit.

The place is European style luxury and beautiful valley. You can find here different plants and lots of flowers. When you are here you will feel serenity and peacefulness. It was so nice to take a walk that there were waters flowing along the side and there were even waterfalls. And when you get tired of walking you can drink coffee or anything to drink because there is a cafe shop inside. You can also buy some gifts and gardening here.

An absolutely gorgeous European themed garden. Very well maintained and lovely. A nice gift shop and cafe too.

On this morning, we went to the Jade garden which is located nearby my friends accommodation cause that my friend whos the ceo of country club which is named Paganica CC recommended the place is really great.I also wanna recommend all you to drop by there if youre planning to travel around there.I think that women and children might like the place because therere tons of beautiful  flowers and various plants youve never seen beforeAhha, theres one another famous place, I believe all you also might know the name the wheres Namiseom Island.

1I would suggest to visit the place in summer time as it looks dry in winter time. 2There is some discount on the ticket for Chuncheon people if they show their ID at the ticket counter.3)It closes at 5:00 PM.4The parking is free.5There are cafés inside.

Good but difficult with strollers

Love the beautifully designed gardens and the smell of nature.

Very pretty and relaxing. Lots of various types of gardens and vegitation. Be aware there are a lot of hills and paths that are hard with a stroller.

Well managed garden! But your children will be get bored.

Really nice garden on a mountain. Definitely worth 9,500 won. Visiting with a car is recommended. Shuttle from Gulbongsan Station runs almost every hour by the way.

A breathtaking place not far from Seoul. Ideal for family getaway weekends.

Given that its winter season, I didn’t see a lot of greens yet the light show at night was amazing!

Not advisable to go during winter time since all the plants were bare. Many routes were also closed. It was not very big, took 30 mins to walk from one end to the other. But we were able to make snowballs! It was a quiet park, not that many people. Good for a romantic stroll.

It was scenic though I believe it would be better in spring or summer.. air is clean and nice brisk walk into the top..only thing people might not like is the insects but it is expected..

Picturesque scenery..less crowd and peaceful place compare to nami island. Blueberry latte is a must try menu.

We went during summer. Nothing much to see if youd expect amazing gardens and flowers. More of plants and trees. Few flowers on summer. Probably will look different in other seasons. The entrance fee is a bit much at 9500 won.

Great place for wedding shots and couples, quite far from the city area but hiking and walking around here is a good thing here.

Visited during winter so there is nothing much to see. Best visited during the other season where the flowers are in bloom.

The garden is quite nice, even in the fall after the leaves have gone, but definitely you must go here in summer or spring to fully experience it. Otherwise there is no point. That being said, its not really worth the trouble. Its just too far away from Seoul, takes nearly 2 hours by subway. And then you have to wait for a shuttle bus that comes only once an hour. I wouldnt go again.

Not to say unique but yet another garden park in the mountains like some others in Korea. Different garden zones, as they claim, almost seamlessly flow one into another. Be sure to put on some hiking or sports footwear in case if you plan to pass through all the trails here. There are bunch of fountains and unusual bronze statues of girls with a voluminous booties. It seems that the garden owner is not independent to such aspect, but visitors seem to like taking pics with them. And yes, visitors are quite nosy here in their attempts to picture at every corner, so if you plan to walk in peace along numerous paths, Jade Garden is not the best choice to do it.

Hmm. Not really worth the drive. Stop by if you happened to travel near that area. Garden of morning calm is much better

It would be great if I came in Spring or Summer. I came in Winter and all was white. But its still beautiful. Came here because of Apinks MV - Secret Garden also haha

Good time to visit is April when there are tulips all over. Rest is well maintained and good place for picnic for all ages.

Beautiful gardens. It started raining shortly after we arrived which shortened our time there. Some of the rocky steps were slippery.

Nice peaceful garden with a variety of plants and trees. Stretches uphill a bit, so a bit hard for elderly or baby strollers in summer/winter. Cool shady stream runs through the middle course. Free parking, and noticed several shuttle buses. Nice air-conditioned cafe & restaurant with clean public bathrooms. Maybe bring a parasol for summer.

European style, beautiful park at Pocheon, Gyunggi Province, Korea.

This place is just so beautiful. Prefect place to take pictures and go for a nice walk. The place is really popular and will be a lot of people. Overall, beautiful place.

Recommend to reserve half day to hike round the garden . It is very big . The building at the entrance that look like a castle is actually a cafe restaurant .
