Well, I’ve only been to the Paarl once but both times, I went to this great restaurant. This atmosphere is relaxed, comfy and excellent if you want some steak. I ordered the Eisbein. The meat was soft and juicy. The burger I ordered the following day was juicy and just delicious. The service was quick and I even got spicy meatballs for free. If you’re looking for a juicy and delicious steak, sirloin, burger or eisbein, this is a reliable option. I enjoy the variety of sides including pap and braaibroodjies. Try the pepper onion rings. It’s just amazing if you like pepper. Any meat eater in the area….This is the place for you!!!

Fan-frikking-tastic burgers! Their bagels are also dreamy!Prices are good, staff are friendly. It is quite a large place so there should always be a table available somewhere.Highly recommend!

Today I had their 300g sirloin steak medium rare with a side of amazing sweet potato fries which I propose you drizzle with their BBQ sauce mmmh. The meat was finely aged and grilled to perfection, it was so good you dont even need sauces BUT I did base mine with BBQ sauce and that just hit a spot I didnt even know I had. Their waiters and manager are so friendly and efficient you would think you are at a mixer instead of a restaurant. Anyways thats enough rambling from me the wanna be critique, try the place out yourself and pass your experience forward, oh and I forgot to mention they always have amazing specials✌🏾

Nice vibe, they had perfect medium rare steaks as requested. Their burgers was well flavoured (Sunday was steak special and Monday Burger Special)

I had baked cheesecake very delicious, but the base rock hard the same wirh the chocolate brownie that my son had.

The Swiss Wagyu burger is one of the tastiest burgers i have ever had. Im a bit of a burger officionado so that says a lot.

Good place for a Nice chilled vibe.The food was lovely and the prices are fair !Steak 🥩 was juicy and ribs just fell off the bone.They didnt have an old fashioned on the menu but they were able to make me one anyhow which was nice of them.They have very good specials in the week and for lunch!Our waiter named Busani was very good and made the meal perfect.Nice interior too.Would definitely be back if in the area again.

First time at Jackson and Black. Looks upmarket but still feels welcoming. All the staff were super friendly. Also first time trying a wagyu burger. Wasn’t overly impressed but wanted to try it. Overall a nice experience, will definitely be back for a tomahawk steak instead.

One of our favourite restaurants! Best service and quality food at affordable prices! The mussel starter is a must try, you can easily share it between two people. Burger specials on Mondays are also amazing. No corkage is the cherry on top! Thank you Jackson and Black for always letting us feel at home.

Oh wow what a big piece of fish! Fish was super fresh! The batter was super crispy and light, but did have a bit of an oily smell. Asked for salt and vinegar chips and those were fantastic.

Would highly recommend. Great service from the reservation up to paying the bill. Very spacious and great atmoshpere. Food was delicious and prepared in excellence. Definitely having dinner here again.

Magnificent! Is the only word that brings justice to this elegant restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed my time. I have to credit the Du Toit brothers for the great food and attentive service. What a delight.

My wife and I were staying at a guest house in Paarl and this restaurant was recommended to us by the hosts. We had a lovely welcoming to the restaurant by the owner and it followed through into great service from Meek and fantastic food. I had the rib and chicken combo and both were devine, my wife had the Tennessee rump and was also very happy. Well done. We look forward to the franchise opening in Johannesburg.
