Jack in the Box in National City

Wow worse jack in the box I been too my food was cold I ask for large fries and literally the gave me half and the girl who attended us was in a bad mood never again 😢

The chicken sandwich was better than KFC, at least it was for me. Fast delivery and efficient service.

I hate it when they dont give me any napkins, its like really what me worry.?!

I grew up in National City frequently getting my tacos and cheeseburgers from this very location. (Getting rid of the basic hamburger/cheeseburger with Jack’s secret sauce was a huge mistake but I know this was not the worker’s fault.However, they could have served me tacos that weren’t old, cold and broken last night when I drove thru at about 9:45PM. I’ve lived on the east coast for the past 10 years and we don’t have Jack in the Box there. So when I do travel out west I always make at least one stop at Jack’s, yes that’s right, I do love me some Jack’s tacos. (I did love their cheeseburgers too but I already addressed that.Come on guys, as a teenager I worked at Jack in the Box, how hard would it have been to drop 4 tacos in the deep fryer instead of giving me tacos that had obviously been sitting in the warming bin for who knows how long.

I can’t believe this !! I just went thru the drive thru, ordered a coke with some other stuff. I get to the window the employee gives me my “coke” while waiting for the rest of the order I take a drink out of my “coke” and it was Dr. pepper , I told the girl at the window that they gave me a dr.pepper instead of a coke and she tells me “ oh he didn’t tell you that we don’t have coke “ ?????? I was like wahtttt! I said “ no, he just gave me dr.pepper instead “ ugh …. The disrespect. JIB please work on this. Thank you

It was excellent quality and service. They were extremely busy, and completing a large order. A little patience, and I was welcomed and my food was timely, hot and excellent quality. Great job and staff

This is a great Jack in the Box that work to the very last minute unlike that jack in the box in clairemont mesa

First time in this group of restaurant. Service was fast and I think food little cheaper than competitors. Chicken strips tasted good. There was enought parking places so good for customers

Late night drive thru was very friendly and the service was able to take care of my order in a few minutes. Totally worth it if your driving thru and need something on the go.

Eat breakfast just about 3 times a week fast andhot

I like JitB but do not go in. Drive thru takes priority, we waited for 20 minutes inside. It was not busy either. One star for dine in.

Sandwich was perfect but the Frys were dead cold after waiting 15+ minutes you would think the curly Frys would be fresh, disappointing.

Not really a fan of the fries but that is a personal thing. Quick service through the drive thru and at a price significantly lower than del taco and obviously less than buster and Daves (food actually tasted better too).

Always so busy, food usually good but last 2x something smelled kinda rancid in my sourdough jack....Old sauce?

I like going to Jacks every now and then. Always receive Fast Service, Food, and at a great price.

I ordered pick-up so I can try the new nacho tacos. They tasted pretty good but not all of them had even seasoning which sucks cause the seasoning was good. I had to stand at the cashier window and wait a little bit to pick up my online order (about 5 minutesto be helped when I got there because the cashier lady was helping prepare orders a bit and I dont mind the small wait because I also work in food service so I know how hard it can be to keep up with the work during the pandemic. Good service and good food 👍

Sad. I was starving the tacos I ordered were super hard rubbery. Too hard to bite. There was no crunch. It was very disappointing.

Mini tacos were fresh and so much better than the last time I was here

Only went through the drive thru this time . they have great customer service and are accommodating. The last time I came I ordered coffee and wanted the caramel and whip cream added .and it wasnt a problem. This place can get busy and the employees seem to all have really good attitudes.

Not good in San ysidro blv 721 bye the trolley station and the security always wants to put hands on people will not be going to that jack & going to let family & Freunds not to go to that jack ...

Service is horrible. They act like you bother them. And there slow as ever. The food Is cold and stale.

National City on Highland was AWFUL!!! I got a bacon ultimate and they put a half a head of lettuce piles of mustard and the meat was salty!! Never Eat Here Again!!

I visit this particular Jack in the Box often. The store is clean inside and out and the employees are friendly. Besides this my food has always been fresh and have never had an incorrect order.

Horrible, service was rotten. Ordered a breakfast combo meal. Need to go with electronic order takers humans cant do the job right she assumed I wanted coffee with my order didnt even ask just told me #26 with a coffee then chargeged me extra for a small non refill small soda. Looked at me like I was dumb. I recommend going elsewhere for good service.

What can you say about Jack in the box its pretty consistent mediocrity but one of my favorite fast food places Burger seem to be a little more tasty than McDonalds

I dont like the taste of their beef patty but the potato wedges with bacon and cheese had me as a returning customer and was sorry to see the Jack in the Box near me was taken down. Not sure in the new building being erected in Chula Vista is another Jack in the Box in a new building.

If you don’t have any items available should put a sing at drive thru and at the lobby and online so customers can know if you have what they want if not so they can know and not order or order something else’s need better management on all jack in the box

First time picking up orders here and it was a great experience. First jack in the box to seal and pack order in a large bag. Employee at the window was really friendly and even wrote the names of the orders on the drinks which was really helpful. Dont usually come out this way to do food deliveries but most definitely would come back. Store looked clean as well. Just trash can at drive thru was full but most trash cans are full at this hr for any driver thru restaurant.

All day breakfast. Awesome

Good food. When in California if you havent, you should. Give them a try, family eats here every year we come to Cali. At least for lunch.

I just ordered a jumbo plater the eggs tasted weird and the bacon was too stiff in which is alright. Next I ordered stuffed Jalapeños and the jalapeños tasted old and smelled like a wet ragg the tacos as well. The spicy chicken popcorn were mainly nerve parts and looked like left over crumbs. The chicken sandwiches were really dry and didnt have much flavor. Everything that was dipped fried in their oil tasted like old oil. Last but not least Caramel coffee didnt taste like caramel . (This review is not to put the store down in stars but to make it it betterCustomer service was great.

Bought the new "the cluck chicken sandwich" its just a chicken tender with two buns, two little pickles. And no "mystery sauce" 1 star.

Didnt want to stop because saw the long line at the drive thru. But, glad we did because they are very professional and had us out quickly with our correct order (food was great).

If you love burgers and havent tried this place might as well check it out. I recommend the chilli cheese curly fries or even the breakfast platter for breakfast which is filling, way faster and cheaper than any breakfast place.

Very bad 😔 experience it said in the door that you take EBT card, it was my very first time using it and I was very embarrassed they reject my EBT card I never used it before, I got it because my kids are home school and Im unemployed at the moment.I never use any welfare or food stamps service. Im a good member of the society I work as a Registered Dental Assistant for more than 23 years. Please make sure you dont do this to anyone else.

My favorite fast restaurant to get burger. There is hardly a wait, you get everything so quick even with people in front of you. I love that they pay a lot of attention to covid 19 regulations.

They always get my order right and are polite and professional consistantly.Jack in the Box is a San Diego company that provides fast food at a great price unlike most of the other chains. They also have maintained a diverse menu...still serving breakfast items all day along with some healthy menu items that taste great at a fair price....and I have to go there, two tacos for $1.00 about. Try dipping in their ranch dressing when your low on funds and hungry. 👍

Great experience! The cashier on drive thru took the order with great customer service (fast&dweet). Emp: TM. Loved how the lady on the window separated our food by combos! Amazing!! Made it easy for our rode trip!! Really handy! Excepcional!

Up to this day, Jackn the Box has been my favorite because of the good food and many specials. Except for the tacos they serve very early in the morning. It seems as if they fry them and set them aside until they are all sold. Thats not fair, I think the cook should fry them as they are being ordered. There has been 3 times already that I have purchased tacos in different JitB restaurants and the lettuce is all dry and mushy and the shell very cold and hard. But this place its still good for me. If only their managing could put more attention in their quality.

Food always fresh and hot. Staff is not just speedy but accurate. Clean environment. Helpful staff. Dining in open till 11pm. Outside tables available. WiFi signal good. Drive through stays open late night.

This Jack in the Box is always busy.My experience was pleasant I went here to eat lunch with my family and even thought it was busy we recieved our food hot fresh and in a timely manner. Order the #12 but the chicken was to salty. Other than that everything else Ive tried on the menu is good food. Munchie meal👍👌👍👌

New cashier a bit slow, which wouldnt be a problem at all except I had to ask him three times to ask a question when I knew I was right about an item that came included with a meal Ive been buying for as long as hes been alive. I understand some people lie sometimes to get free stuff but we dont all do that so maybe a little more listening to the customers would be appreciated. Overall my order was correct the food was great and the mini churros were nice and hot thank you.

Went to jack Tuesday August 13 around 11 pm we had somewhat of a big order. We nicely asked for our food to be fresh. Our onion rings were only freshly fried. We were disappointed we didn’t enjoy it as we wanted to. Our nuggets and chicken sandwich were cold even our curly fries. Ik what it’s like working in a fast food I was working at Wendy’s for 8 months and the longer I was there I did a little bit of everything drive thru , fries , sandwich lady. When people request fresh food please do so .

I mean really??. Who could possibly complain about Jack in the box. Maybe rude service. But the food is great. Love them tacos. Jumbo jackIt was a great meal. They were really warm and friendly. Like it, will go back

I like their fast food service they dont take EBT which sick but thats all right i got the carne asada fries and they were small but delicious 😋
