Jack in the Box in Pendleton

Went to Jack in the Box on Monday night around 11:30p and was told at the drive thru they were closed for the night. Website and sign on the door both say drive thru is open until midnight. I tried again Tuesday night around 10:30p and after sitting at the speaker with no response for 10-15 minutes, I drove around to the front to see if the lobby was open. When I found the lobby was closed but drive thru was supposed to be open, I went back through the drive thru just to be told once again that they were already closed. Why have posted hours if theyre not going to be used?

Went here at 10:30 on a Sunday. Hours posted said that the dining room is open. All doors to the restaurant are locked. WTH? Take down the sign if youre not going to abide. Drive thru is open. Guess Ill eat in the vehicle. Still, this is bogus. Not what I expect from my favorite fast food restaurant. I look for Jack in the Box when I travel. Always a good place to stop and get a great burger for a reasonable price. Not this time. Not here. Ill be making a mental note that Pendleton doesnt have a Jack in the Box. Not one that Ill be stopping at again, anyway.

First time. Great food, quick very friendly service

Pulled up the window and asked for ice cream. Got a super rude toned response about how they only have thick old fashioned shakes and I asked if the Vanilla is ice cream or something else. They said its ice cream again with the rude tone in their voice. I decided to go inside and the GM came to the counter. I told her I apologized for the confusion but that their shakes are just ice cream and she should try and gain product knowledge. She screamed at me to leave and when I told her theyve had bad service lately she said shes trying to fix it even though she was the most aggressive ruse employee there.

Stalest bread ive ever eaten. Husband said his chicken strips were almost inedible due to being over cooked.

Miranda is great and provides amazing service

We ordered two cheesy burgers, and one we dropped on the floor. They replaced it immediately for free.

They have the best sourdough breakfast sandwich and their mini corn tacos are my granddaughters favorite menu item. The place is very clean and the staff are very pleasant and kind.

Very slow stood in line forever while they waited on the drive thru customers. Finally a nice young lady stopped what she was doing as the so called manager was too busy trying to micromanage instead of helping them out at a busy time they would have been just fine in my opinion. In times like those are when true leadership should and will rise up and bring them together as a team. Great management cant exist without a great team and a great team cant exist without the leadership of great team building motivators something I see majorly lacking in todays work places. This place and the kids working here have great potential if given the right management to lead them.

They first gave me an expired salad. Then the second salad they gave me, just didnt taste good. The chicken was salty and then it also had bacon, so it was just too much salt. Everyone else that I was with had no complaints about their meal, so it may be that the salad there just isnt for me and my preference of saltiness.

No indoor dining, went somewhere else

Hit and miss. Depends on whos working. The last time Id say it was a 10 but its not always so satisfying.

Food is greasy and not very tasty.

Went through the drive thru. Extremely rude and unfriendly service. Messed up our order. Extremely rude when I corrected them about the drink order. After we left and were down the road, discovered the gave me a plain hamburger instead of what I ordered. I was over charged, will never go back to this particular place again.

Yum! The Manager , Tim, was absolutely awesome today! Made sure I got my loaded tiny tacos. Fresh cheese sauce. Much appreciated.

Why put a sign where you order that you are taking EXACT change, debit, credit or Mobil pay, just to have the person in front of us get change back. We didnt even end up ordering because of that then just have to wait in line to see the person in front of us get change back. Take the sign down 👍

Drive though was pretty slow and the workers werent exactly cheerful. Messed up my order but ya know its what you get with fast food. At least it tasted good. Next time I will probably go to taco bell across the street they have more options for cheaper anyway and then rarely mess my order up. Sorry Jack in the box, taco bell takes the cake 🍰🍰

Did you know that youre retaliating by removing people from the schedule when they find second jobs or do something you dont like?My girlfriend has a message clearly stating you guys removed her hours and just waited for her to leave on her own. We still have a text from one of your other employees specifically stating the way management made it sound was like youd be taking all of her hours to make her quit.Whistleblowing is illegal.

It was fast and we got everything we were supposed to. Best fast food salad I have had in a long time.

Went to the drive thru this evening. No one answered on menu speaker so we drove up to the window. Could see the employees inside, they were all standing right there in the kitchen and they tried very hard to ignore us. We sat there for about 5 minutes while they chatted with each other, then a girl finally came to the window and told us they had closed early for the night. She said their manager had left early and they were “just a bunch of underage teens who aren’t allowed to serve food.” That seems...not true? Or irresponsible on the management part at least.

Anything on sourdough barely ever gets grilled let alone heated all the way through.*Update* Jack in the box only sends out automated email messages, they dont actually take the time to read these reviews and reply appropriately. JACK IN THE BOX IS A JOKE!

The drive here was just right long line but wind fast and the food was hot and ready If youre hungry its a Great place to stop Pendleton Jack in the Box

It was alright, the coffee was nasty but the curly fries are great. The ultimate bacon burger is delicious. Would go again but not get coffee.

The cashier was rude! The bun of my hamburger was so burnt it was almost rock hard and when I took it back to show her she was even more rude than when I was ordering it! Then she didnt even make what I ordered! I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

I asked for pickles on my chicken sandwich and got one little slice of pickle.Then shorted me a penny in change without even asking or saying anything. Like I wouldnt notice!!

Went to jack in the box for some of theyre tacos. I went through the drive through. There was 2 cars ahead of us, we waited in line, 20 minutes later we finally moved to the speaker to give our order, "my I take you order." "Can I get 24 of you tacos please." "24?" "Yes." Silence for a minute. "Just a minute." "Ok." "Sorry but were all out of tacos, theyre all frozen" "really your kidding, ok well Im willing to wait for the tacos" "well that takes 2 hours" "I said I can wait" "you cant wait we will be closed." This was the 4 time Ive ordered tacos from this store and every time theyve gave me an excuse for why they cant, one time they called my mom fat and said we dont deserve to eat and that we slobs need to leave. Im about to write to the Better Business Bureau and and your guys corporate office. Maybe even to jack in the box headquarters. Fix your staff.

Good burgers and curly fries. Easy to see from the street with nice wide pull thru. Very pleasant folks working the window.

The quality of the food has really diminished. My hamburger should not taste like overcooked cardboard, and my french fries where really cold. Like they just came out of the fridge.

Front door had a decal stating the restaurant was open for take out only...yet they wouldnt take my order as a walk in...I drive a large work truck and can not drive through...manager wouldnt take my order

We always grab hamburger here but we stopped eating out for awhile after the pandemic started. Then we went back to grab some quick meal and we so disappointed that the quality changed so much since last time we there. Then we went to another town and order exactly the same thing its was great just like its suppose to be. Some location cant keep up with food quality i guess.

You ever have one of those days? Trying to find a reasonably low carb breakfast on a road trip. We are in a Uhaul. This location is not open for indoor dining. Uhaul wont fit in drive through...so this girl walks through the drive through. Now I dont weigh enough to trigger the sensors for them to take my order. Lucky for me their customers are kind too. Nice man in a big truck pulls forward and patiently waits so I can order. Success, Im in. Maybe next time I should order ahead but it wouldnt have been as great of an adventure. Excellent variety of food options. We ordered the sausage breakfast burrito and the ultimate breakfast with no bun. Only miss was I asked for swiss instead of american cheese. Tasty, low carb and ready to drive a few hundred more miles. Thanks Jack in the Box and nice man in the gold truck.

The restraunt was good and clean inside the crew members were fast and friendly and food was fresh and hot great place to take the family.

Food was good but the double charged us. Since we live in a different town, we couldnt afford to drive 60+ miles for a $30 over charge. Tried calling store within 10-15 minutes from leaving(noticed when we got to arrowheadbut no answer.

I wouldnt say the food is amazing though people I know would disagree. The food is good for a fast food joint I particularly like their milkshakes and it is one of those places that never seems to mess up an order. A good variety of food though the staff have never seemed overly friendly to me.

They forgot 3 of the 9 items in our order.Update: Received a reply from the owner on my Google review and district manager? from my wife filling out the survey on the receipt. I appreciate your reply, most companies dont bother to fix their mistakes. Thank you.

Hours are horribly inconsistent. earlier this week tried to go get something to eat and there was a sign saying that they were closed early for the night when online hours clearly stated 12. Fine. no big deal that happens every once in awhile but just tried to go back tonight lights are on and they were clearly open and we sat at the drive-thru for 10 minutes no response so we drove up to the window and there were people just standing around inside. We pulled over and parked in the parking lot and watched as six cars more cars had waited and gone through the same things. Must not care about customers or their money.

We did two mobile orders tonight and Andrew was working at the window. They forgot our cheesecake and when we went back through he was very nice and even gave us a free lava cake. Thank you Andrew! As someone who has worked in management in customer service, I would be very impressed with this employee. People like Andrew deserve a raise! Thanks again!

Ine of the only places in town thatll actually give you ALL the sauces you ask for and or need. Still got the butter and silverware as well haha!! (Unused DUH... Extras ;)

I order mini taco n egg rolls and guess what no sauce! Are you kidding me then i call and ask if i really had to ask for the sauce that comes with items and AMY the lady i talked to said yes next time i have to tell them or they wont put it in the bag! Wow i live 20mins away im eat dry food today i guess! This bites!

My food was so greasy and the customer service was trash. Definitely prefer bk or McDonalds.

Helped by a young man named Jacob and he had the best customer service I have seen in years. Thanks Jacob for keeping ethics and positive attitude in the workplace. Amazed to see such a great young worker.

Standard fast food in a clean atmosphere. They serve you and have the coke product mixology machines for a personalized treat. While we rarely ever eat fast food, this is our pick for 24 hour access to breakfast sandwiches.

Yesterday I ordered poppers and a small curly fry. When I got the bag and started driving away I was informed they were regular fries. I asked for the right ones and he about came unglued. I asked with no raised voice and no "attitude" and he called me a jerk. What kind of service is that? Usually the food is good and I usually have a good experience otherwise.

Always friendly staff and quick service. The cashiers are always easy to talk to and kind. People that have problems with them probably are either just snobs who believe they are better than fast food workers or have no patience. Keep up the good work guys!

I have changed my review to 5 stars . This is the best jumbo jack I have eaten at . The employees are very professional and accommodating. Brought our meal to us were awesome fast about it .. good was great !

Super fast team allows for ease of ordering and they have a response time to order of under 2 minutes for most of their menu. My favorite choice would be their Breakfast jack with tomato, also their sourdough Jacks are delicious and pretty cheap. Plus you cant go wrong with late night tacos.

Came in on a hot day and they were patient and very welcoming. Very kind. Best service Ive had in a very long time. Food was good for fast food. Cashier was so lovely. Simply put, Im more than satisfied.
